i think that percy and annabeth's relationship is so healing for both of them. like, our girl has severe abandonment issues but managed to pull the guy whose fatal flaw is unwavering loyalty. and our boy has severe self-esteem issues but managed to pull the girl who consistently chooses him. i love these two so much.
The desperation in annabeths “wait” when Percy shuts the door. When she screams “Percy don’t do this to me” my HEART!!! THE SIGH OF RELIEF WHEN PERCY KNOWS SHELL BE OKAY. Honestly Percy outsmarting Annabeth to introduce his fatal flaw is possibly the best way to introduce who he is. They shattered my heart with this scene.
post episode 8 just feeling medically deprived of hearing walker say this
I WAS SO LOOKING FORWARD TO IT
I CAN JUST HEAR IT WITH A VOICE CRACK RIGHT ON THE SOMEHOW
james: everyone thinks you suck.
regulus: suck what exactly?
james: just suck at being a person.
regulus: well they’re probably right. but i think you have the wrong number...
james: remus ?
regulus: nope. regulus.
james: well…
james: wait what suck did you think i meant ????
regulus: idk james you’re texting me at 1am in the morning. what suck do you think i thought of.
james: REGULUS????
how to interact with the god of war, brutality and bloodlust: a guide by 12 year olds:
stay unimpressed
outsmart him
tell him to watch his mouth
bonus: Annabeth 'ready to stab Hephaestus' Chase
Grover: Oh, you like war? Me too! My favorite part is *commits psychological warfare*
I'm crying like obviously we know Percy's powerful but this show has held back in the fight scenes so him threatening Ares is. SO funny. baby you've got nothing to back that up. you're just a yappy little baby chihuahua right now.
Ikr. I was so distracted, I only came to know when my friend told me about it. She isn't even watching the show rn. She saw it in IG and txyoyodoyxycktxydo5
the PJO fandom working their butts off to find two italian babies in the background only to realize the Easter egg is Nico calling for Bianca around the 12:3 mark.
SOMEONE HAS PROBABLY SAID THIS BEFORE BUT THE SHOW FOCUSES ON PERCY SEEING THINGS RIGHT?? LIKE THE BOOKS WERE MORE “THIS INEXPLICABLE STUFF HAPPENS TO ME” AND THE SHOW WAS MORE “I SEE THESE INEXPLICABLE THINGS” RIGHT?? AND IN THE SHOW PEOPLE ALWAYS TELL HIM HE’S IMAGINING IT. AND IN SOM HE CARRIES A PICTURE OF ANNABETH AROUND TO REMIND HIMSELF THAT SHE’S REAL. SO IN THE SHOW IT’S GONNA BE LIKE. “I DIDN’T MAKE HER UP. SHE ISN’T SOMETHING I IMAGINED. SHE’S REAL. SHE’S REAL.” I’M NOT GOING TO MAKE IT
despite of everything i love madoc. i know he was awful and backstabbed jude after he helped build herself up, but he just loves her so much it hurts me. that scene where he is like "i am your father" and jude replies "you're my father's murderer" and the man just murmurs that "he could be both"..... HURTS??????? He always claimed her as HIS 😭 AND after reading the stolen heir it breaks me a little more.
Madoc always loved Jude the most. He was so proud of her, even if he wanted what she had. Perhaps he was FIRST person to ever see her true potential, and i just know that even when they were enemies, he was proud. (Dont touch me i love their father x daughter tragical story)
The pjo fandom really downplays the Annabeth's romantic gestures in the series. Yes percy held up the sky but so did she. Yes he gave up immortality for her before they even started dated but so did she. She literally took a knife for him and people only play up his reaction to it. Yes percy is the ultimate book boyfriend but Annabeth is just as good of a girlfriend and people should put more respect on her name.
