Hey y'all, guess who finished the first chapter early!
HAVE FUN AND LMK WHAT IT'S LIKEEEEE
Knowing my tendency to cry when games even slightly hit them good themes or have sadness/bittersweetness overwhelming joy, I will likely end up bawling on the floor in the best way possible
Hi-hey-hello, Arto here!!!
I write music, as most of you know. So I decided to show you a song---the official main title screen song :D I hope you guys like it and this is an idea of what I make… actually rlly praying you all like it!!

This is a scene that is going in the fanfic immediately
It might not make it till the end cause of what I have planned
But goddamn it's going in there

In case you don’t know, project LUMEN is an in-development indie game adaption of the Life series, a Minecraft YouTube series created by Grian. Featuring a full RPG experience: battles, a branching timeline with limitless choices, custom and unique visuals from our talented team of artists and, of course, lore: there's a path for everyone to take.
So, hello and welcome to the Writing corner, and we are looking forward to your potential application!
Now, do not feel intimidated. While we look at examples of your fanfiction writings when considering you, we are not judging your capabilities to write for the game that harshly, because, as you may notice, a game is not fanfiction. It is a script!
Here’s a basic guide to script writing so you’re not gonna join in blind. And once chosen, you will be guided through the ropes of learning how to write that way! This to say, don’t worry about prose. In the applications we will be mainly looking at dialogue, characterisation and maybe a bit of scene handling.
This project is big, but I’d like to think the workload isn’t. While LUMEN has a small team of writers, we have managed to split the work between us, going at a steady pace of one seasons/timeline per month, with a week break in between.
In our normal process, we have each of the seasons’ small and big events alike written down in bullet points and put into a Google Sheet for the Writers to claim. They are the ones to decide on what they want to write, and that usually ends up with them having a two week deadline for the writing of one thousand words-ish. Though we understand if a deadline can’t be met, more time can always be given- we aren’t monsters. That’s the Watcher’s job. Not the Speakers’.
We also have a meeting every other Sunday to talk about progress and make sure our writings all line up, while also planning out what needs to be done next. These meetings are very fun though, trust.
So make sure to apply when applications come out on the 30th of april, and get in before they close on the 20th of may!
Secret hack: Imagine the songs as a different fandom singing them instead. Works for me and I listen guilt-free every day :D
10 minutes into Descendants and the worst part is I would like the music if wasn't this
Ok so I know I just made a post like this a little while ago but
I need help writing BigB
I literally barely see him ever in Scott's PoV helpppp D=: I know his basic vibe kinda but I don't know how to make dialogue and I accidentally made him a major character in this scene help!
go write three sentences on your current writing project.
Congratulations! You've been selected to participate in a season of the Life Series.
You'll need allies; roll a d4 and then spin the player wheel that many times to see who you end up teaming with (if you get repeats, re-roll). They are only as loyal as you'd expect them to be, given past performance.
Unfortunately, you also managed to wrong someone early on - whether on accident or on purpose - and now they're out for your blood once they turn red. Spin the player wheel again to see who you've got hunting you down later in the season. (If you roll a teammate, feel free to reroll.)
But what's the gimmick? Spin the seasons wheel to see what mechanics, if any, you'll be dealing with. If you get Last Life, roll a d6 to see how may lives you're starting with. If you get Double Life, the first player you rolled for your alliance is also your soulmate. Good luck!
