I just read The Ballad of Himawari by Demyrie and had to sketch this because I loved this idea and could not leave it without at least a sketch.
sketching a bit again...I hope I can keep arting again for more than a week this time
So Hatter got a new tablet and asked me what I thought of it....so I used it to draw this...her tablet feels alright...but I think I still prefer the feel of mine....It's a bit messy caus I didn't want to steal her lappy for too long, and I didn't really get to adjust to the odd feel.
Part of me wants to clean, line, and color this...the rest of me says to go sketch some space husbands or something. I don't know yet.
I found time to finish it. I really don't know what I'm doing with backgrounds. I used no references. I have a feeling it shows at least a little bit. But I'm happy with it, so whatever.
I tried to use photoshop like I use my mechanical pencils...I think it worked more than less.
