feels like some people become parents because they've been taught that is the natural progression of how adults gain power (i.e. the power their parents held over them in their childhood). and now they need to be at the top of that power structure, to finally be okay.
which is very, very sad. and also, crucially, not a healthy reason to become a parent.
I think a lot about how, if the glorious violent revolution happens, every kid with significant medical needs in a hospital where power gets cut will die.
You can decide you're willing to sacrifice your own life, but you don't get to tell everybody else on the planet that they're acceptable collateral damage.
Just told my mom about the omegaverse/abo
...feeling good.
These are kinda bad but I've got brain rot so...
I'm usually more of a Haylijah shipper, but the fic I'm writing has caused me to go back and take another look at this pairing.
There was so much potential there!
In a lot of ways, I feel like they are better suited for each other than Haylijah. Hayley tended to put Elijah on a pedestal, which did nothing to help him accept his repressed, darker nature.
If he and Katherine had been in a longer relationship, I think they could have balanced each other nicely. He could provide her with the stability, love, and loyalty that she's always wanted, and she wouldn't be afraid of the darker parts of him and could help him accept that side of himself.
They are a very evenly matched pairing, and could have been good for each other.
Pretty much what it says on the tin^ ao3 account @Haylee_BB ace/aro bean💜💚 In a committed relationship with Barbara Manatee.
