I Just Watched The Very First Episode Of The Mandalorian For The First Time In Like YEARS And I NEVER

I'm really tired of people criticizing Star Wars for its simple approach to good and evil, because that ignores the point.

Star Wars is not about morally complex situations where it's hard to tell who the villains are.

Star Wars is about how easy it is to become one of the villains.

What do you think was the first little spat that Tech and Echo had, I have my theories but I’m curious 👀

Not me begging all my friends and family to watch The Bad Batch, acting like that show isn’t the reason I cry myself to sleep every night

This is kinda dumb lol because I literally know that these men are all just copy paste, but sometimes I see GIFs of members of TBB and am just struck by how similar they look to each other.

Like, since they all look unique because of their enhancements and hair and style, I don’t necessarily look right at them and see them as identical like with the other clones. But sometimes Hunter will smirk and he just looks so much like Crosshair, or Tech’s eyes will widen and he looks just like Wrecker, or Wrecker will glare and he looks just like Hunter…it’s just like, fantastic. These animators could solve world peace

Omega growing out of her “sweet happy-go-lucky child” phase and into her “moody emotional teenager” phase would be quite the upheaval in the Bad Batch household, because Hunter is probably devastated and emotional and a little scared about it all because that’s his little girl, but Crosshair just smirks and buys a pack of extra crunchy toothpicks because his time has come.

Can’t get over I Am Ready from TBB S3 score, and everything that it represents, with the way it interweaves Omega’s theme with the theme from Tech’s farewell and just hints of the OG Bad Batch theme….

The way the bad batch’s theme is just barely there, but more of just an echo behind Omega’s theme, indicates how they are always a part of her, but how the bad batch as we knew them is no more—they have moved on, become a part of something different and beautiful and hopeful through the life Omega will lead.

Tech’s theme is more obvious, and it shows 1) how Tech’s sacrifice is fundamental in the life that Omega and her brothers have lived, always a part of them, never to be forgotten; and 2) how Omega is making her own heroic sacrifice by going off to join the Rebellion, even though she has earned just as quiet and peaceful a life as her brothers and even though it may cost her everything.

And Omega’s theme, prevalent throughout the piece, is as light and hopeful as ever, and the very last gentle chords of the piece are only the first four notes of her theme—or rather, Omega’s theme remains unfinished, because her story is not over, and her future is ahead.

Poetry isn’t a strong enough word for it.

I headcanon that Crosshair actually writes in the most beautiful cursive. Like shockingly beautiful. Very perfectly slanted, even letters. The others probably tease him about it a little (“you write like a GIRL”) but secretly they love it because it’s just so NICE.

Follow up on this: Tech, Hunter, Crosshair, and Echo frequently mention making calls to “tech support” on Kamino, and Wrecker definitely believes that they’re referring to some kind of therapist for Tech. The others would correct him, except he’s always super nice to Tech when he hears about them making a call so they just kinda let it be haha

This thought came to me at work today, but what if at one point the Marauder kept having issues with its navigation system or something?? And Hunter kept filing reports for it, but since he’s kinda lazy when it comes to reporting he just writes “tech issues” and hits submit

And then one day he gets a call from Cody, and Cody is like, “hey, uh…is Tech okay??” And Hunter’s like, what do you mean. And then Cody produces three months’ worth of reports that say “tech issues” and goes, “Well, apparently, he’s having problems…”

Crosshair never lets him live it down

Something I think we missed out on in TBB S3 was seeing how Hunter and Wrecker’s dynamic shifted after Tech’s death. Because those two were more or less alone together for FIVE MONTHS. I’m sure Echo was around off and on, but he would have been busy with Rex, gathering intel about Tantiss. That five months was probably one of the darkest periods in their lives. They had just lost Tech, they had just lost Omega, they had just essentially lost Crosshair for the third time. Hunter and Wrecker would have gotten each other through profound grief, fear, anxiety, trauma, desperation, regret. Those kinds of shared experiences change how people interact with each other and I wish we had seen a little more of that.
