So, i was doing some research for my fic, Dead Ringer, (don't ask) and ... da fuck you mean the Yakuza got busted for trafficing nuclear material in New York?! Like, I know January was nuts, but I'm surprised that slipped right by unnoticed.
Chapter 13 is up as of today! If you choose to read, I hope you enjoy! Excerpt from the new chapter is below:
Neil,” Kein sighed, “how the hell did you not think to mention that you knew their cousin?”
“Oh, excuse the fuck out of me for not realizing that the one Mexican I met in fucking Berlin was related to these two!” Neil yelled.
I like that there is a legitimate reason to explain how a technique works in JJK. We all know it's just a trope in anime to call out/explain abilities and a quick way for the author to inform the reader/viewer what's going on. But making it so that explaining a technique makes it stronger is a creative way to incorporate that trope and provides a believable reason as to why a character would be willing to explain their attacks to an opponent without it enturely being an actual detriment.
Bram: I finally have my body back!
Fyodor:
Does Fyodor know how old Dazai is? Like, I imagine Dazai looks older than he is just from the everything in his life. So, does Fyodor know he’s 22 or does he think he's older? If someone told him, would "I've lived multiple lifetimes" Fyodor just be like, "What do you mean my intellectual equivalent is a fucking child??"
So, I've seen some panels from the new BSD chapter (I haven't read it yet so I may be jumping the gun) and there's a minor plot hole that's been bothering me.
Dazai says that he made his plan on the assumption Fyodor's ability was based on touch which is why he concocted the whole helicopter crash to kill him. But, my guy, you got an ability that shuts off other abilities. You are immune to any side-effects and Fyodor can't use his ability (known or unknown/consciouslyor unconsciously) with you touching him. If you wanted to guarantee his death just choke a bitch out. You got a body count that would make most serial killers blush and you already planned to kill him. So why was that not Plan A?
I know this can be hand waved away a few different ways; Dazai figured Fyodor would've planned for that, Dazai isn't used to using his ability in an offensive way like that, Chuuya suggested it so Dazai said that wouldn't work just to spite him. It's not a major issue, but I wanted to see what other people think. Does anyone else think that's a plan that could have worked?
As a writer I know why the author didn't go with it and its fine that they didn't. But I still want to hear everyone's thoughts.
Chapter 4 is up and chapter 5 will be out later this month. Enjoy!
Summary: During the cleanup of Chuuya and Verlaine’s fight, Dazai finds out there was another clone in Facility B and decides to retrieve it while Chuuya is recovering from his first time using Corruption.
Chuuya navigates being in the Port Mafia and taking care of his new little brother, and Dazai navigates the new dynamic in his an Chuuya’s partnership.
Not that Dazai cares ... right?
Season 4 of Tower of God will be interesting as far as lore building goes. Because Baam's been told about his parents multiple times. Data Edahn specifically told him about V. Cha told him about Arlene. And while Data Edahn probably only knew early V, Cha would've known Arlene (or heard of her) during the Great War. Baam has an idea as to who his parents are. What kind of people they were. So, I'm wondering how much of his interactions with V is going to contradict/reinforce the image Baam has of them in his head.
Chapter 3 is up and available to read! Enjoy!

Exy is the bastardized child of lacrosse and hockey that's been left unsupervised just a bit too long.
Okay so having went to my first lacrosse game as a non-sports person, I finally fully understand how exy got that popular. First of all lacrosse is already extremely entertaining on it's own, but you’re telling me it’s not just lacrosse, but it’s a contact sport, there’s a plexiglass wall that balls can ricochet off of, they are wearing like full uniform guard because it’s that violent yet they can run around as if their gear weighs nothing, AND IT’S CO-ED?!
Sign me the fuck up are you kidding me.
The first time I saw this when I watched the anime I straight up was like, "Okay, they have that type of friendship." It reads like an inside joke to me. Like they're referencing something from when they worked together, and it just became a running joke that no one else would probably understand.
Bones robbed us of Dazai literally laughing out loud at Chuuya's rich girl act.
She/They The account I can talk about fan stuff on. I also post fanfics on AO3 by the same username.
