Chapter 16 is live! Here’s a little excerpt from the current chapter:
“Minyard did sign a five year contracted with the team,” Tetsuji said.
“Spare is dead to the world, so no one knows he’s here,” Riko replied.
“They know,” Ichirou growled. “That is why we are here.”
Riko blatantly glared at Neil and sneered. “Yeah, and I wonder how they found out.”
Neil met his gaze. “You accusing me of something?”
“Didn’t you talk to them after the game?”
“Yeah, because I have these things called friends. Ever heard of it?”
“Control your dog, Ichirou,” Tetsuji said.
One thing I find hilarious in Tower of God is that our first real look at Zahard and V are so vastly different. They're both images from when they were younger (Zahard via his data doppelganger in s2e284 and V from Traumerei's flashback in s3e213). But like, this is their first full reveal side by side.
I know other images of Zahard do have him looking a lot better than this initial one, but like V's initial image is literally a thirst trap. Like, I'm ace, and even I can get why Arlene would be more attracted to V than Zahard. That race was kinda finished before it started if you get what I mean.
On another note, was it really necessary for that to be our first look at Baam’s father, SIU? Was it really?
It will never not be funny to me that Khun is an ice wielder, yet he's always the first to complain about it being too cold.

I understand that you can get burnt out from anything, but there's something ... hollow? about being burned out on what you love. Like, I get that I need to step away from writing sometimes. That I need this burnout period to recharge. But I hate the numbness that comes with it. How bloody unproductive I feel. I can't focus. I can't do anything. I feel like a tiger pacing the length of its cage up and down. Up and down. Over and over. I know there's a point where the bucket is empty, and you gotta let it refill before you can proactively use it, but I hate waiting around for that spark to come back to life. Ya know?
Hello, all! I've finally updated Singularities, so chapter 8 is live!
This is the chapter where the clone gets a name, so I hope you like it!
I like that there is a legitimate reason to explain how a technique works in JJK. We all know it's just a trope in anime to call out/explain abilities and a quick way for the author to inform the reader/viewer what's going on. But making it so that explaining a technique makes it stronger is a creative way to incorporate that trope and provides a believable reason as to why a character would be willing to explain their attacks to an opponent without it enturely being an actual detriment.
I wrote a 1,800-word one-off based on a post I made a while back questioning what would happen if Fyodor took over Chuuya. So, if you’re interested, check it out.
My favorite thing about humans is that they'll pack bond with literally anything. Even when we make something that's just a tool to use, something that doesn't think, sometimes doesn't even move, some human will get attached, and it becomes something precious. We make monsters meant to frighten and scare only for someone to find it friend shaped and loveable. We see it everywhere in fantasy and Sci-Fi. Dragons, demons, robots, aliens from distant worlds. Hell, we pack bond with words on a page or images on a screen because we innately want to connect even if it's with characters that don't even exist.
Despite so many of us hating the forced proximity of the modern world, myself included, I can't help but find it adorable how we're so desperate for a pack, so desperate not to be alone, that we can connect with anything.
I think the only reason we don't see Dazai using a gun at the Armed Detective Agency is because they refuse to give his suicidal ass access to one. We know he had no qualms about using one, so that's the only reasonable reason I can think of as to why he wouldn't have one.
Exy is the bastardized child of lacrosse and hockey that's been left unsupervised just a bit too long.
Okay so having went to my first lacrosse game as a non-sports person, I finally fully understand how exy got that popular. First of all lacrosse is already extremely entertaining on it's own, but you’re telling me it’s not just lacrosse, but it’s a contact sport, there’s a plexiglass wall that balls can ricochet off of, they are wearing like full uniform guard because it’s that violent yet they can run around as if their gear weighs nothing, AND IT’S CO-ED?!
Sign me the fuck up are you kidding me.
Handcuffs are completely useless when it comes to Soukoku. Dazai appears to be an expert at lockpicking and can escape whenever he feels like it. And if Chuuya can't just break the cuffs, the dude spent almost eight years fighting with his hands in his pockets, so he doesn't really need 'em. So, overall assessment: handcuffs are completely useless on Soukoku.
