The two of them go to the annual fair and Xavier tries to get the biggest bear for Simon but loses miserably. So Simon, not wanting to make him feel bad, plays for it and wins it (I mean, have you seen his arms this latest episode??). He plays it off as Xavier winning it for him but makes him carry it around bc Si doesn't want to lug it for the rest of the night.

They split custody of the bear and even drive it around sometimes when they have to do the custody exchange.

Although School Spirits is rated as TV-M, it isn't too graphic or dark in certain aspects (except for the obvious death/murder). It's considered a supernatural teen drama, but can you imagine if there was a darker aspect to the spirits' deaths? the little things from each of their deaths that linger with them in limbo?

On the rare occasions when Wally's quiet, people can hear the sound of bone grinding against bone when he swivels his head.

Sometimes Charley speaks with a rasp, his voice laced with a wheeze like he can't really breathe.

Rhonda will occasionally bleed from her head, the fabric of her hat dented and matted with a dark spot. Don't stand too close, you might see the bruising underneath her turtleneck that eerily looks like a hand.

The smell of smoke, singed hair, and skin linger around Mr. Martin and Janet. There are times when they don't speak much, their throat itchy and tired from coughing due to smoke inhalation. Blink and you might miss the pink rashes and blisters that appear on their skin.

Periodically, Quinn and the band kids have road-rashed band uniforms, their instruments bent/dented, and shards of glass embedded in their skin and clothes.

This one's more lighthearted: The sound and faint feeling of buzzing grow the closer you stand next to Dawn. If given the chance, she can shock the other ghosts by poking them; she giggles when they flinch.

Will revisit when Yuri's death is revealed :(

I really like this AU for a number of reasons, but my number 1 is the simple horror of having no privacy, and the idea of a character trying to bond with their family while knowing a demon is overhearing/mocking every bit of vulnerability. (I also have a comic about Bill messing with one of Stan's memories because I'm a sucker for psychological mess-ery, but it was too ugly to post!!) The way they completely wrote him out?? I really wanted him to meet the ghost kids, talk to them, help them out in ways Mr. Martin didn't, or idk... PROTECT THEM when an eventual conflict arises when Mr. M in Anderson's body comes to school. Anderson sees him in his own body/actually sees Mr. M in his sill sweater vest and decks him (idk, screw ghost rules) and smacks some sense into him lmao

why is mr anderson written out of the plot?? like… where is he?? so much could have been addressed with him, there was room for development for so many characters including himself and maddie, like?? i feel this is why we need more than eight episodes

I've honestly really enjoyed seeing Simon and Xavier interact this season. Here's to hoping the writers don't fuck it up

Xavier and Simon's friendship has barely existed so far and I'm already a big fan of it
