We had an assignment to personify our vocab words, I'm not insane I promise (I will gladly do a full character reference sheet with their entire life planned out including the other 8 words)

I feel like we haven't been checking in on Pokemon artists enough

And I've been talking with our other friend a lot more recently, so I'm copying his speech pattern almost exactly and it's a little annoying ngl. He rolls his R's a lot when he's bored (ex; Wharrrr [what'd] I do/ On my morrra [mother]) so that's a lot of fun. and it's not just speech, I have picked up full body movements from this guy and if you know him, you know that im 'copying' him. Every time someone points it out it's so weird cos I dont even realize I'm doing it until someone says something. I know some of y'all do it to cos there's no way in hell I'm just weird like that (I am)

ok so mirroring people is a thing right

like I know everybody does it cos it's a natural human brain function or whatever but I haven't gone a year of my life without making a friend and in a few months, unconsciously, I start talking how they talk or even just little things like darting my eyes. My best friend pointed it out the other day, I was hanging out with one of our more energetic friends during lunch, so when I came back to class, I seemed more energized or something like that. I remember when I was little I would copy TV shows, bc I didn't like my 'friends' enough to pick up their habits and lemme tell you, going through elementary school with the only knowledge of social interaction being from the show Lab Rats on Disney Channel (the show about kids who were isolated from social interactions their whole lives) did not go very well for me.

Some people are 14 years old. I want you kids to know I'm praying for you guys

Ever regress in the empty kids section of Barnes and Noble it makes me so happy and the Christmas music was like those classic ones from like the 50s and 70s and it made me feel so fuzzy
