Thank you so much for drawing this! I love the contrast between the two illustrations, and that poor daemon squirrel's shell-shocked expression in the second one! Being in the middle of shape-shifting makes her look even more unstable. (Her tail looks so fluffy though <3) The orange on black is also a nice detail, considering what happened. >8)

All in all, great portrayal of the natural progression of Hinata and Komaeda's relationship. X)

Wasn’t it convenient that Death used sickles for work?

To add insult to injury, the cat died by fire this time. The flowers in the wolf’s lungs withered like all the sunlight and water had just vanished from the world. They were dry when Death spat them out and cut their stems. Orange and red gladioli, like the previous six times.

Death knew Puss in Boots would revive, and so would the cut blooms in Death’s lungs.

Another three lives for the cat to waste.

Until the last harvest.

Masterful This drawing perfectly captures everything good about AA 1-3 especially with the fence and the spear Love the smoke too evoking the general fogginess of the case and Vasquez's looming threat behind the scenes And of course Edgeworth's growing conflict And Phoenix and Maya's first teamup in an investigation!! Have you watched The Adventures of Puss in Boots? (It's the one with the Netflix show with the white cat named Dulcinea)

I am afraid I haven't watched it. I don't watch that many series, and I have to admit that the length of this one intimidates me a bit.

I did get spoilt about a couple of things though, including who Dulcinea is, and it did sound interesting. If nothing else, I really appreciate the reference behind her name, and how fitting it is for her storyline.
