Stygian sketches (Ft. Somnambula)! Thanks for all the love on my last post💙💙💙

My Tumblr folks don’t know this but Stygian is my absolute comfort character (embarrassing) and I’ve had him and also the Pillars on my 2018, but haven’t really drawn them out or anything till a few years back. I would like to share like ALL of my headcanons for Styg here, but that’s for another time. (Let’s test out my ask button cough)

She used to wake up super late, has worked on the habit somewhat

Werner, despite keeping the tidy and prestigious exterior, has a room cluttered with notes and books. Nerd.

He can be an all-nighter if he must

for lineart: i've found that the lineart brush doesn't really matter—i just use what's most comfortable. for the conclave drawings i used the RSCO dry fountain pen, and for bavarian miku i think it was a kraftone inker. if you want to imitate the pentiment style, the more important thing is going back over the lineart to get an aged, distressed look; i do this by erasing/coloring bits of lineart with the RSCO pouncer brush (but i'm sure any spotty, textured brush will do).

for coloring: default water brush in procreate 👍🏻
