I get so disappointed when people think that Willow is a "gray mouse" in the shadow of the "colorful Hunter"… that Willow is "boring and unremarkable" and that Hunter "deserves a better partner" and so on.

Do you guys really think that in order to earn someone's love, you need to have a "higher status" or a "decent image" or what? Not cool at all.

Listen, not every single character needs a tragic backstory and meta-storyline to be valid and to be perceived as an INDIVIDUAL in the first place.

Especially in real life, not everyone is a "bright star" and/or a "charmer"… And I'm not even talking about the fact that in the case of Willow, she just happens to be an UNPOPULAR CHARACTER, not an UNINTERESTING PERSON!

On the contrary, Willow is freaking awesome! Have you ever seen her beta version??? The girl has the concept of a badass anime nerd who gets squeals from hundreds of simps just by adjusting their glowing glasses with a grin in an epic battle, and I'm absolutely here for this.

But that's not the point! I want to say that such calm and "simple" people like Willow are no worse than "brilliant" and complicated ones like Hunter. Let us coexist without putting some on a pedestal and drugging others through the mud, thank you!

This nonsense is reminiscent of the situation when Lumity officially became canon. Back then, some vievers were outraged that Dana didn't use the trope "Will they or won't they?" for this ship. It really seemed unrealistic to them that teenagers could just...get into a relationship in an instant! In our world, we can become someone's friend, lover or enemy in a very short time, without big plot arcs and fillers that could prevent this from happening. So what exactly should be wrong with fictional characters falling in love quickly??

Don't forget that only from our perspective, TOH universe is a piece of media with a script and a plot. But the characters themselves inside this very universe are ordinary dudes who live their lives carelessly and do not suspect anything about the 4th wall.

So please just let them be!

Who is the best man/men? - It was a really small ceremony, so they didn’t have any Best Men. The important thing is that Wormmon is the flower bearer and V-mon is the ring bearer.

How fancy was the ceremony? - Like a two or three. They don’t need anything fancy as long as they have each other. Back of a pickup truck | 2 | 3 | 4 | Normal Church Wedding | 6 | 7 | 8 | 9 | Kate and William wish they were this big.

Who was specifically not invited to the wedding? - They argued over whether to invite Takeru, but Ken insisted Daisuke shouldn’t let a silly childhood grudge prevent one of their closest friends from attending their wedding. In the end Ken won, and as expected, Takeru was nothing but nice. Really, though, these are two of the most warm-hearted people ever, so there wasn’t anyone they legitimately chose not to invite, even though they kept it small.

Who is on top? - Usually Daisuke, but they switch it up.

How healthy is their sex life? - Probably not super healthy at first because Ken’s still fucked up in the head, but Daisuke is more than willing to help him sort out his trauma. Who cleans up after the pets? - Daisuke. He’s the ridiculous one who thought they need an entire hoard of puppies, after all. Which makes it his responsibility. (This may be a point of contention…)

Who found a dollar between the couch cushions while cleaning? - Daisuke. He also immediately stopped cleaning to run and tell Ken about it because it was very exciting.

Who takes the longer showers/baths? - Ken, partially at Daisuke’s insistence that it’s important for him to relax and let the bath wash away the day’s stress.

Who takes the dog out for a walk? - Daisuke

How often do they decorate the room/house for the holidays? - Ken likes to decorate a little for Christmas because his family did growing up, and of course they decorate for New Year’s. Generally, they do minimal decorations for the major Japanese holidays.

What are their goals for the relationship? - I mean, what more is there than what they already have? They love each other unconditionally, support and encourage each other’s dreams, and are always honest with each other. Probably the biggest thing they need to work on is communication because Ken still blames himself for everything and Daisuke has low self-esteem and hates admitting when something has hurt his feelings, but they’re getting better, dammit.

Read the PPG script

Okay, so we start off with the PPG, now teenagers, who are all sleep-deprived or hungover or gay and cheating on their girlfriends. You can put some of this on Utonium, who is borderline abusive in this, but still–they’re pretty shitty.

There’s this three-way battle between Mojo, the PPG, and a giant monster–I guess Mojo is attacking both them and the monster, but it’s kinda unclear–point is, this weird ‘disgruntled lab partner’ version of Mojo dies because of the PPG’s negligence. 

That… kinda seems legitimate, seeing as they accidentally killed someone over their own (and Professor ‘Drake’s’) issues.

Guess how that turns out?

Man, what IS IT with modern Hollywood and writing their female characters as committing heinous crimes, then insisting that any criticism of them is rooted in sexism? Like, geez, projection much?

The script even makes the Professor a scapegoat for the PPG’s character flaws and they still can’t take enough responsibility to admit they screwed up. It’s kinda pathetic. They killed Mojo Jojo just so the PPG could have wangst.
