Chiron: I love my demigods. They are too good for this world. I'm proud of them.
Percy: *Explodes the bathroom*
Annabeth and Clarisse: *Screams at each other*
Leo, Nyssa and Harley: *Burn their cabin*
Travis and Connor: *Blow up jokes in Demeter's cabin*
Nico: *Eats instead of helping*
Chiron: My beautiful children.
Athena: We're going to have to make major spending changes this year-
Hermes: *raises hand*
Athena, sighing: Your Club Penguin membership will still remain active.
Hermes: *lowers hand*
Zeus: Crabs really just sit on the sea floor and do fucking nothing all day huh
Zeus: "oh shit uhhh looks like it's time to use my claws to pick at whatever fish remains have fallen down here today... the same thing i always do"
Poseidon: you got pinched, didn't you
This is probably the best headcanon I've ever done:
Sometimes I made stories about what is going to happen with the seven (and Nico too) after they die. I imagine a final battle (with Uranus for example) and the phophecy that says they will go together and punch Uranus in his heart with their swords at the same . Because Uranus is very strong ,they will die while stabbing him. Close to death, they will be holding hands and Percy and Jason will say: I'm not scared to die if you are with me. We will die as a family, and be together forever as a family. We will go together in Elysium.
Then, they die and their shadows appear.
Thanatos appears too, ready to take them to Underworld.
After that, the gods will appear, when Uranus is finally gone, and take their children to Olymp. There ,they will decide to make them immortal.
They will spend the summer at CHB teaching other demigods with Chiron and when the summer is over they will be like 'The guardians of good' (I couldn't think of a better name lol) and they will travel around the world together and make good things ,like helping people, saving the world, etc (and also they will spend time with their immortal parent sometimes, when they aren't in an adventure)
(Don't consider TBM,that book is still making me cry 🤠)
Apollo: 'Go hang a salami' backwards is 'I'm a lasagna hog'
Artemis: How did either of those sentences occur naturally for you to discover this?
Pictures as Rick Riordan's series, but this time is part 2
The last one: Octavian convincing roman demigods to start a war with the greeks (sorry I know it's not really visible,my mistake)
Apollo coming to Percy's apartment
Percy:
So the gods are notoriously bad parents, but have we considered what it would be like if they acted like normal parents?
Zeus: AS LONG AS YOU LIVE UNDER MY ROOF YOU FOLLOW MY RULES
Thalia: under your-? YOU MEAN THE SKY?!?!
Or
Athena: I believe it's probably about time we have... the talk
Annabeth: bold words from a virgin goddess
Or
Hades: when I was your age my parents never gave me handouts. I had to work for what I wanted
Nico: your dad literally ate you, I -
Or
Poseidon: if your friends jumped off a cliff would you?
Percy: so... this has happened and I'm gonna let you know now that it will happen again
Or
Will: just gonna say that Aunt Artemis doesn't force her huntresses to go to music lessons...
Apollo: If Aunt Artemis is so great then go live with her!
Will: if I was a girl I would
Or
Aphrodite: Because I said so
Piper: jokes on you, I have charmspeak too
Or
Pluto: Another dog? We have a dog! One could argue that we even have three. Besides, who is gonna end up taking care of this dog? Me. You and Nico aren't responsible. Besides, dogs are expensive. You know, money doesn't grow on trees-
Hazel: because...i can get it from the ground??
“I choose the prophecy. It will be about me.”
In my opinion, this quote from The Titan’s Curse is one of the most important moments for Percy’s character in the whole series. Here he is, still a kid, pushing down his fear and choosing a prophecy that could easily end in his death, all to protect Nico from that very same burden. He admits in the next few lines that he doesn’t want it, but he steps up and claims it anyway to spare a kid who hates him. It’s the selflessness and compassion that Percy displaye here in willingly shouldering such a heavy burden that, to me, truly makes him such a remarkable hero. There are so many stories about heroes having a great destiny, but Percy really stands out here because of his choice. He accepts the personal pain and suffering that could potentially come out of this prophecy and doesn’t shy away from it, just to save Nico. To me it’s this moment that truly shows that Percy is the child of the prophecy, not just because of his choice, but because of what his choice proves about who he is - a courageous, selfless person who is truly strong enough to fulfill his destiny and lead the demigods. I honestly still feel proud every time I reread this scene.
Hermes: Hey, can you teach me to play the trumpet?
Apollo: Why?
Hermes: Because I want to follow Zeus around and annoy him with it.
Dionysus: Technically you don't need to know how to play the trumpet to do that.
Hermes: You're so right-
"But remember, boy, that a kind act can sometimes be as powerful as a sword."
