If you voted for trump, man or woman, I want you to read as follows

I want you to understand how thoroughly you fucked everyone over. I want you to look at your children in the eyes and tell me if there is anything more than innocence or resentment.

If you have a mother, I want you to look her in the eyes. I want you to tell her that she'll be stripped away of her rights and she doesn't get a say in what happens to her anymore.

If you have a daughter, I want you to look at your babygirl and explain that there's nothing you can really do if anything happens to her. I want you to tell her that a gun meant more than her in your vote.

If you have a wife, I want you to look at her and see the fear in her eyes knowing that she is married to someone who couldn't care less about her rights and views her as property. I want you to try and tell her that you love her and see her struggle to respond.

I want you to sit down with your children and have to hold back tears while teaching them how to have even a small chance at surviving a school shooting.

I want you to look at the couples in your life that are not stable enough for a child and have to tell them that if they get pregnant by mistake they'll have to suck it up.

I want you to look at the women in your life and tell them that if they're raped and unfortunately get pregnant, that they'll have to go through that hell all over again.

I want you to go to a book store and see all the books you've ever loved disappear. I want you to look for The Holy Bible and be unable to find it when it's banned.

I want you to think back to the book Fahrenheit 451 and it's story. I want you to understand that this is the reality you want us to live through but worse.

I want you to look at the people in your life and have to explain to them that you're sorry. Women, people of color, gays, trans, etc.

I want you to look at future generations who never get to experience the same rights as you were blessed to have before and I want you to say you're sorry.

I mean hey,

Was it worth it??

Was it worth getting your guns back and "voting for your pockets"??

Was it worth the people who killed themselves out of fear?

Was it worth having the women in your life be told "your body, my choice"?

I hope it was.

Lucifer clearly loved you dearly, even if he may have been a little too strict at times, he did love you.

Lucifer's immediate response to your confession was a frown, said frown being replaced with a gentle and comforting smile in the end.

The fallen angel would ask, his voice soft as he gently looked at you.

If you said yes, he'd grab his best and oldest bottle of Demonus, pouring both of you a glass.

He'd slide you the glass, silently sitting next to you in front of the fire in his private study, that hid in the House of Lamentation's library.

He would never pressure you into speaking your mind, he'd only ask that you spoke the truth when you did so.

Beelzebub felt his heart clench inside of his chest at your confession.

He pulled his head out of the refrigerator, looking over at you with a frown.

He stood up straight, holding his left wrist to his chest with his right hand.

His silence filled the room after your heartfelt confession.

After many a moment of silence, he handed you a plate of sweet confectionaries.

Beelzebub responded, taking a confection off of the plate and taking a bite.

He continued to hold the plate out to you, waiting for you to take one.

Even if you said no, he'd find something else for you to eat.

Food always helped him, so he'll try to help you with the same thing.

the key to happiness while in a fandom is accept the fact that there will always be people who love the characters you hate, and there will always be people who hate the characters you love. and every ship you think is disgusting has already been shipped by a group of people. and there is absolutely nothing you can do about that. making “call out posts” and engaging in witch hunt campaign/cancel culture will not stop any of these things that you don’t like from keeping happening. the only think it will achieve is make your fandom experience toxic and exhausting for your own mental health. fandom is supposed to be your getaway and your safe space. it never is supposed to be a courtroom or a war zone.

but what if I tell you fandoms can actually be your getaway and your safe space? all you’ve got to do is mute, block, refrain from engaging with things you don’t like and only focus on things you do like. because there will also be people who love the characters you love and people who ship the ships you ship. do engage with these people instead.

that’s it, that’s the key to happiness in a fandom. have fun!
