Hello! I'm an artist who loves to listen to your concept corner videos while I work, I was wondering if you're comfortable with people making ocs for the Heartless universe?

Ahoy! Sorry if this is a very late reply but yes OCs are absofruitly welcome and always lovely to see!

The only heads up I would say about making OCs is that the lore of the Heartless universe has changed and evolved quite a bit behind-the-scenes compared to when I was last able to talk about it in-depth; so it might?? be handy to bear in mind that a fair bit of trivia previously mentioned in my Concept Corner videos might prove outdated once I am able to share the story more fully 👀

this is, perhaps, a request for a safe name, or perhaps it is a request for instruction. every time I try to come up with something to call myself, I get attached. Every name I have given myself has become one in a long list of True Names, an equally important part of Me. And worse, I find it hard not to give away my name at every turn. I want to trust everyone, to give myself up to every person I meet. How shall I proceed?

There’s no perfect solution, but some options to consider would be:

gambling on a myriad of true names, ensuring that anyone seeking power over you must collect so many different pieces that the task becomes untenable

choosing an alias too silly or hateful for you to love, even with your endless capacity to adapt

transferring schools
