guess who finally have fraps
here it goes!
so after a few modifications to the facade, i went and tried to be as accurate as i could to the insane floorplan of this house (the rule is : a room can never be a simple square haha).
as i want sims to be living here i took the liberty to add a kitchen and two bathrooms, as well as things for them to do apart from waiting for someone to come to their house to talk to, (like the chess board, the piano). Also a vanity and doll in capella's room, and an extra extra empty room as a future nursery ๐
now why is there the same blue tapestry on the walls everywhere? same thing in the game, when they don't know what to put on the walls of this house, they put this blue/purple curtain. it is a defensive way to say that yes i was lazy BUT it was game accurate haha.
also yeah yeah the lady on altar for the dead mother has a dark hair and victoria is supposed to be blond, but... i have more paintings with dark-haired women what can i say
i think that mary-sue tends to take a lot of shit and that it's sometimes unfair. not that she's a perfect character by any means, (the difference of treatment between angela and lilith is not acceptable), but she's an adoptive child.
and as so, even within a loving family it can be difficult to not always try to achieve perfection in the fear that you're not enough and that you might be abandonned again. she's a successful woman in her field of career, who gets CHEATED by her husband, but somehow she's the bad guy, and the one always depicted like a shrew, angry selfish mother, while daniel is the cool dad. you know as if he didn't have a part in the difference of treatment between his children.
that's why the video of juno birch turning her into a witch and burning shit to the ground is one of the most hilarious and satisfying thing of all time to me hahaha
post your ACTUAL unpopular Sims opinion. (and no, saying FaceApp. and alpha cc is weird/ugly doesnโt count)
Mine: Sims 2 Premades are way overrated especially the Stragetown ones.
1/4 - exterior
here's the crucible by the by!
so believe it or not i had a ridiculous hard time with this one. like more than the lump. i redid the floorplans so many times. and then i had to use my imagination to fill this gigantic mansions (since in the game we see only the first floor), and i'm not used to have to furnish large rooms. but anyways i think it's kind of an acceptable result. i don't want to ever think about this lot ever again
me : my downloads folder shouldn't surpass 8gb
also me : *create an account on SimPearls*
aaaaah, i'm suffering. boolprop constrainFloorElevation is such a bitch to get a hold of. anyways, continuing on the pathologic inspired neighborhood, here's The Lump. it's not furnished yet, but i wanted to share the structure because it took me so long hahaha.
What's this?!? Two posts in two days? Look at me go!
This cave/mine lot was inspired from a conversation at the PBK Discord a couple of days ago, where we were discussing how to build caves. I wanted to see if my ideas would work within the confines of the game with the CC I wanted to use.
Welcome to the 'Mine'! This lot is build primarily with @cindysimblr's Pagan Build Set, Tulipfera's Skyrim Caves, @sunmoon-starfactory's Mining Set and various deco rocks available at PBK.
Skelebro is my tester Sim and generously helped me check the playability of this lot.
The cavern isn't yet finished, but I'm super happy with that entry tunnel!
This is what it looks like in neighborhood view:
Not perfect, but not too bad at all!
And better shots of the outside of the lot:
