Some time ago I’ve drawn the best (or the hottest hah) prefect for the banshee_.shop (inst) 💚
Every time someone makes a joke about Harry being boring I know they're talking about movie Harry because book Harry was UNHINGED
Out of context, it looks very bad, doesn't it?
Poe ch55♥️♥️
I need to read more of this 😩
Voldemort is at his absolute weakest and close to death. No more Horcruxes, no followers. Nothing Harry is trying to hunt him down, and wary of how desperate the man is but still not realizing the depth of the mans power, ends up losing to him in simply because the man caught him unaware. Harry thinks this is how he dies, but it isn't to be. Voldemort has learned harry was once his horcrux and in his MADNESS wants to make him one again.
Harry is kicking and screaming and begging Voldemort to stop as he drags some poor victim in to be sacrificed. It does nothing. The true process to make a horcrux is absolute torture to the both of them, but Harry doesn't have Voldemort's desperation.
It is the single most agonizing experience Harry has ever gone through. Voldemort's soul is sewn onto Harry's own (It can fit perfectly after all after the absence of the other one) it is slow and torturous and Harry cries and begs for him to stop until it finally is over, but it is too late. Voldemort, The mad Lord, is holding Harry in his arms like he is the most precious thing in the entire world. He is immortal, and he made sure Harry is too.
With their souls tied together, Harry will never be able to escape the Madness of Voldemort without destroying himself completely.
My roman empire is the scene in the fifth Harry Potter book where Dumbledore talks to Harry about the prophecy and how Harrys pain shows him that he is still human and Harry is starting to scream in anger, hurt and frustration and starting to throw things around the office, screaming at Dumbledore that in this case he doesn‘t want to be human, he wants it to end, he wants the pain to go away.
And instead of giving that boy, that child, a hug and telling him his feelings and his anger are valid and justified, Dumbledore sends him back to the Dursleys, while everyone, characters and readers, expect him to instantly get better and be able to fight against Voldemort again.
This book is so long and this is the conclusion that was made?
Harry, at the Slytherin table, making no noise and pretending he doesn't exist:
Tom and his Knights, studying his every move:
What the fuck
Beginning
I watched Frieren: Beyond Journey's End and idk, I'd like an AU where Harry falls in love (one-sided) during the journey and realizes, at the very end, he has to kill the love of his life if he wants to defeat Voldemort. And Tom/Voldemort will only realize he also loved him years after Harry dies.
btw can we talk about harry not being concerned that Tom's about to kill someone, he's only concerned that people are watching????? Character grooowwtthhh
The closer they get to each other the better they understand the others motives and change their views, most notably in Tom's behaviour because his personality is pretty wild to begin with but seeing Harry change and adapt and being able to make decisions other people in his life would not let happen is pretty neat <3
They know each other extremely well at this point. And Harry has admitted before that he doesn't necessarily want Vee to change-- but rather be better. Live up to his actual potential, as it were.
It will come with a bit of angst, of course, because Harry has to come to grips with the fact that he essentially gave Voldemort the green light to kill someone-- even if it was to kill someone dangerous that would continually try to kill them, etc-- and that he might do so again in the future.
Harry is good, at his core, and taking life feels contradictory to him, especially considering the mild success he's had in sort of... reforming or rehabilitating Voldemort on this journey (not fully, but enough that Voldemort has clearly changed the way he is behaving on behalf of and in regards to Harry)-- plus, just the idea of what his parents might think if they were alive to witness all of this unfolding when they died fighting the man he's growing to love in order to protect Harry. There's a lot of tangled up feelings there, but Vee has a way with words and with twisting them around to make Harry realize things he would otherwise beat himself up for.
This scene comes to mind for what's to come, for instance:
“Lovely thing,” Voldemort mutters, breath hot on Harry’s skin. “You’ve just secured another night free of the bogeyman. The monster that witches and wizards tell their children about.” Harry lets out a wet sound. Maybe a sob. Maybe a laugh. He clutches at Voldemort’s shoulders tighter. “There’s no need of guilt, Harry Potter,” Voldemort says, pulling him closer, kissing at the sensitive spot just before Harry’s ear. “Not when you are the only thing that stays my hand.”
