JJ thanked whatever entity out there that the office was currently empty, save for their team. They'd just gotten back from a case, dropping off relevant files and paperwork before a well-deserved rest, and someone had jokingly mentioned how it would easier if they had another Morgan around to ease the amount of file boxes they had to carry.
Big mistake.
ONE Derek Morgan could be enough, let alone ten of him cluttering the office. Especially since each one seemed to be dumber than the last. How were they making less progress now? Jennifer sighed, hands settling upon her hips.
Blue gaze directed towards the companion beside her, eyebrow raised. " How exactly do we fix this? " The blonde questions tiredly, hoping there was an easy solution.

this isn't what it looks like.
you look like you've got this under control.
am i free to go?
and that's my cue to leave.
we can talk about this like adults.
you've got it all wrong.
sorry, there's a family emergency and i need to go.
something's come up. i can't stay.
you need to let me go.
so this was a set-up.
you head that way, and i'll go this way.
we could try this another time.
that's not at all what i said.
i never promised you anything.
why don't we all just take a deep breath and start over?
i really don't think this is going to work.
can you take a rain check?
this is not what you said would happen.
wait! i can explain everything if you just give me a second!
there's no need to be hostile!
how about we all calm down?
let's just take a second and regroup.
you told me you had this all under control.
yes, well... i may have lied.
so i didn't give you all the details. big whoop.
you're not going to hold that over me, are you?
i think we'd better run.
you can handle this by yourself.
maybe we should talk about this somewhere else.
there's no need to yell.
listen, you're really nice, but i don't think this is going to work.
why don't we try this another day?
i got all dressed up for nothing.
now that's something you don't see every day.
i'm giving you a chance to back down.
put the gun down and we'll talk.
sure, i've made mistakes. who hasn't?
you could have at least prepared me for this.
if you need me, i'll be over here.
i think i hear someone calling my name.
urgent phone call. have to take this.
that's about as much as i can take.
it might be better if i go.
am i interrupting something?
maybe i should go outside.
i'll just leave you to it.
that sounded a lot better in my head.
you call me if you need anything.
you know where i'll be.
i'm not sticking around to find out.
you've got this! i know you do!
i'll just get in the way if i stay.
i'm needed elsewhere.
i'm sure you can handle it.
Another one about making people sleep...
"Are you still awake?"
"I think you need to rest..."
"I'm getting worried about you, you know."
"You really do need to sleep."
"It's okay to be tired."
"You can rest your head on my lap... if that'll help?"
"Let me stroke your hair..."
"I just want you to feel better."
"You would feel better if you actually slept."
"The last time that you actually, really rested..?"
"Sh, sh, it's okay. You're overtired, that's all."
"Okay, I have you, just... relax. Let yourself relax."
"I worry about you, you know. How little you sleep."
"I hear you walking about at night, when you think everyone's asleep."
"I know that you're pretending."
"I'm really not that tired. Promise."
"I'm just a bit... uh. Just... just a bit... I'll be okay in a moment."
"You're swaying so badly you can barely stand!"
"You have to rest! I'm not taking no for an answer!"
"Don't worry about me this is - this is normal -"
"You keep yawning like that you might break your jaw."
"It's nice. Warm. Cosy. Come to bed."
"I just want you to actually rest, for once. Please."
"You have to actually relax."
"Take a breath. Lean back. Close your eyes."
"When's the last time you trusted someone enough to do this?"
"I want you to actually try. That's all."
"Would you let me try something?"
"This is not normal. Even for you."
"I'll get you a heated blanket, warm milk, blackout curtains, anything. Just go to sleep."
