I need everyone to know that Sybill Trelawney is a descendant of somebody named Cassandra canonically and the only reason why she got an interview with Dumbledore to work at Hogwarts is because he knew this.

Nobody believed that Sybill had the second sight and Dumbledore was going to scrap divinations after Hogwarts all together (because being a seer is extremely rare) but Sybill asked if she could work there and he gave her an interview only because he knew about Cassandra and it was during that interview that she gave the prophecy of the chosen one. She was then offered to job at Hogwarts as protection.

Now to my knowledge it's never stated if Cassandra was the Cassandra of Troy but considering how Sybill is treated exactly like she is i'll say it's possible and what i'm going with personally

All this to say imma need y'all to start giving Sybill Trelawney the attention and respect she deserves (and start editing her to Cassandra by Taylor Swift)

I imagine Marlene McKinnon to have been a very loud 11 year old. Very loud and with the strongest Scottish accent you’ve ever heard. Eventually over the year you learn to understand her and eventually over the year the Scottish accent would phase out to something more understandable for everyone’s poor British souls. Over the Christmas holidays Marlene would come back having gained a small accent over the holiday. But when the break between the school years roll around she would come back to school with a Scottish accent again, and again you could not understand her. Marlene realised quickly that when he friends don’t understand her she can say whatever she wanted, one day she tried that with Peter. For some reason, Peter was the only one who could understand her. So Peter was the first to know about her crush on Dorcas. Marlene asked how Peter could understand her because it seemed as though no body else in the entire school could, Peter somehow concealed the fact that his own father was exactly like her, but the accent never faded away.

(please I’m not British so like idk what holidays it’s called between school years, like idk if it’s summer or winter or in between, it’s confusing and also seasons are backwards there)

So basically 

you might not have heard of the UK Supreme Court decision stating that trans women are not women under the Equality act, which effectively sets the UK 50 years back in terms of queer progression. They stated that a woman is based on their biological sex, which rules out transgenderism in general.
