out of all of these the most visually pleasing is re7, i really love the red and green, it was fun making all the frames with their little trinkets that relate to the current events, the one with the lords was especially fun to make

daniela, lady D, angie, donna, moreau, and chris

daniela is my fave, i think she looks so cute, chris is a close second though, i drew lady D first and based everyone else off of her, my least favorite is donna just because there isnt a lot going on

karl, miranda and ethans heart, and eveline

this may be my favorite karl i have ever drawn and i did it with my finger on flipaclip and i have never been able to replicate it again and its making me so depressed

i really like miranda in this as well, she looks very pretty

i like this frame, his eyes r a little bigger than before and his lips r more "M" i think he looks cute, my friends said it was too depressing when i drew the frame in vc

the eveline segment is the only part with shading and i liked it alot, i think she looks spooky

Arizona prison officials won't let inmates read book that critiques the criminal justice system

Arizona prison officials have banned inmates from reading "Chokehold," a critically-acclaimed critique of the American criminal-justice system.

That makes sense. If the inmates knew all about the for profit prison system and back door slavery they’d be very enraged about it.

The book is “Chokehold,” by Paul Butler, a former Washington DC prosecutor who wrote it after being wrongly arrested. From the article:

Butler, who is African-American, wrote the book after he was arrested on false assault allegations, an event that dramatically changed his view of the justice system.

“During the trial, I experienced for myself a lot of things that defendants I’d prosecuted said were evidence of how unfair the system was: Police lied, witnesses who knew what happened didn’t come forward,” Butler told The Guardian in 2017.

“The jury took less than 10 minutes to acquit me,” he said, because “I could afford the best lawyer in the city, had legal skills and social standing, and because I was innocent.

“But the experience made a man out of me. It made a black man out of me.”

According to the article they also banned one of Maya Angelou’s book too.

So I’m guessing that the officials want to keep them 100% imprisoned, physically and mentally.

I added real sesame seeds to the burger.

One quiet day on the farm, the Little Red Hen found some wheat seeds and decided to make bread.

"Who will help me plant these seeds?" the Little Red Hen asked.

"I would." said the Horse "But I'm a workhorse, and I'm too busy moving carts around."

And so the Little Red Hen planted the seeds by herself. And they grew into bountiful golden crops.

"Who will help me harvest the wheat?" the Little Red Hen asked.

"I would." said the Dog "But I'm a guarddog, and I'm too busy keeping away burglars and predators."

And so the Little Red Hen harvested the wheat herself and made it into flour.

"Who will help me bake the flour?" the Little Red Hen asked.

"I would." said the Pig "But I'm a mother of 5 newborn piglets, and I'm too busy taking care of my young."

And so the Little Red Hen baked the bread herself into twenty beautiful loaves.

"Who will help me eat the bread?" the Little Red Hen asked.

"We would." said the Farm Animals. "But we're ashamed, for we didn't do anything to make the bread."

"Nonsense!" said the Little Red Hen. "You, Horse, helped move around the stones that built my oven. You, Dog, kept me safe while I worked. And you, Pig, are raising a new generation of Farm Animals, who will too contribute to our Farm one day. You've all helped me so much by simply being you."

"Besides," the Little Red Hen added. "I couldn't possibly eat all the loaves on my own, most of them would go to waste. Come, eat with me."

And so the Little Red Hen and the Farm Animals ate the bread together. And all saw their own, and each other's, worth.

Lmfao as a religious trauma survivor and a product of Christian fundie indoctrination myself I am in full support of calling fandom wank "purity culture" and the use of the word "puriteen" as well actually.

It perfectly encompasses what purity culture was. It wasn't just about "no sex before marriage"; it policed every fucking thing you did and forced you to walk on eggshells your entire life so your Magical Sky Daddy didn't clutch His heavenly pearls at your naughty behaviours.

Holding hands with someone you weren't married to? Gateway to sin. Making eyes at someone of the opposite sex? Gateway to sin. Thinking "impure" thoughts about someone else? Thoughtcrime Gateway to sin. Wearing the "wrong" type of clothes? Listening to the "wrong" kind of music? Having the "wrong" sort of values? Enjoying the "wrong" kind of media? All of it was seen as a stepping stone toward being a sinful godless heathen (and to some people it was essentially just as bad).

And it wasn't enough to just avoid BadWrong Behaviours, either. In my ex-community you were expected to express your disapproval of it and be well versed in the theological how's and whys. Does any of that sound familiar?

Purity culture at its core is so much more than "wear this purity ring and pinky promise to Jesus that you'll never have sex until you're married" and if you didn't realise that while you were there you weren't paying attention.

I underestimated just how much HyunA resents Luka, but this just makes her all the more interesting to me, it was still Luka she couldn't forgive for what he did, she admits she couldn't forgive herself for still loving him despite that, but "saving" him wasn't mercy or compassion, no not really. It was her revenge. HyunA's death is objectively a sacrifice, but it is how it would affect Luka that truly shows her hand.

She was aware of him, the way he loved her. making him face a reality that would essentially be crueler than death for someone so devoted to her, and making him live with those consequences, giving him back the burdens he gave her by taking away the one person he cares about most, leaving him lost to find his own answer Is just.. I love it she's fucking crazy guys this is my diva
