This wasn't a request, just something I came up with on my own to start things off. :) --- You stand from afar outside of the base, watching him. Clouds covered the sky, and snow fell from above; lightly at first, then gradually more intense. It was the first snowfall of the year, and if it kept up, it might stick. For Genji, this was his first time experiencing snow in this body. He was wearing nothing but a black hoodie over his cybernetics. This wasn't an issue for him, he normally didn't wear any clothing at all. He didn't perceive heat and cold in the same way anymore. He stretched both of his arms out and flexed his hands gingerly. In his left still flesh arm; he felt what he expected. Cold particles brushing against it and turning to water on impact, a growing feeling of numbness the longer he stood there. In his right cybernetic arm however, he only felt a muted sensation. The sensors in his arm were telling his brain that something was making contact with it, but he didn't have the same sensations of wet and numbness that his left did. He kneels down and sticks his whole right hand into the layer of snow forming at the ground and keeps it there. It is only after he doesn't pull it back out again after several minutes that you finally decide to approach Genji. "How long are you going to do that for?" you ask. He finally gets up and turns to face you. He isn't surprised by your question, he knew you were watching him the entire time. "Until I feel what I should be feeling." came the matter of fact reply. "Does it help?" you ask as he flexes his cybernetic hand several more times. He scoffs, and then suddenly grabs both of your hands and takes them into his own. You flinch and recoil from the sensation, the feeling of cold is overwhelming. Just how long had he been out here for before you found him?
He rolls his eyes, as if you had just asked a question with an obvious answer. "No, it doesn't. If I was normal, I would react as you did. But I don't feel things the same way you do anymore. I don't even feel your hands on mine the same way." You look down, unsure of what to say. Genji continues. "But that's the point isn't it? I'm not meant to feel. I was rebuilt to be a weapon. The less I feel, the easier it is to do my job." "Don't... don't talk about yourself like that, please..." you beg. It wasn't the first time he had spoken of himself like that. Every time he did, you hated it. Hated how he dehumanized himself like that. "It's the truth, and every day proves that more and more." he responds coldly. He turns and begins walking away. You stand there for a moment, then chase after him and wrap your arms around him, placing your head against the back of his faceplate. The cold metal sends chills down your spine, but you hold firm. "What're you doing?!" he demanded, but didn't move to break away. You move your right arm up and begin to stroke his hair. "Can you feel that?" you ask. "... Mostly." "And how does it make you feel?" "Embarrassed." You move your left hand over his chest, attempting to feel his heartbeat. You find it. A steady rhythm that grows faster the longer you keep your hand there. "Weapons don't have hearts, Genji. They don't have emotions. You do. That's how I know you're still human inside. That's how you know you're still human." There's a silence between you two. You move your right hand back down and place it over your left, so that both hands are now over his heart area. After a while, Genji raises his left human hand puts it on top of yours. "I feel lost." he begins; "On missions, it's easy, my anger focuses me on the task at hand. But afterwards, in the quiet, I feel like I lose a part of myself every time. Like there's nothing else." You say nothing.
He turns to face you. For the first time that day, you get a good look at his eyes. Normally Genji looked angry all the time. The red tends to do that. But when you're this close, you see something more. Pain. "Some days you're the only thing that reminds me I'm still human." he finishes. "I'll be there to remind you every day if you want me to. You're as human as I am; as anybody else here is. There's more to you than killing. You just have to find it again." That kind of just came out. You felt unsure whether that was what he needed to hear, but you notice the muscles in his face relax. "Thank you." he says quietly. You respond with a smile, but you're unable to hold it for long. The biting wind causes your teeth to start chattering. You look away, and then turn back when you hear a slight chuckle. "Did you just laugh at me?" you ask playfully. "Perhaps." he responds in kind. Your face drops into a slight pout.
"Come, let's get back inside, you must be freezing." he continues. He offers you his human arm, which you take, and he gently leads you back towards warmth. There will be other bad days, you're sure of that. But for today, you feel like you legitimately made a difference to Genji. And he's grateful for it.
Rainy Daysđ§ď¸
Hazard x Reader
A/N: Itâs been raining here for a couple of days and whatâs better than wrapping yourself in a blanket? Having a bigass bf that can give you twice the warmth.
Summary: Hazard spends time with you at your place
The storm outside raged with a ferocity that rattled the windows of your workshop. Rain lashed against the glass, and the occasional crack of thunder made you jump despite yourself. But inside, the world was warm and quiet, a sanctuary from the chaos beyond.
You sat on the worn couch in the corner of the room, wrapped in a blanket. Beside you, Hazard lounged, his arms draped casually along the back of the couch. His presence was as steadying as the glow of the workshopâs dim lights. Youâd never admit it out loud, but moments like this made your heart feel fuller than it had in years.
âYe´dont need to keep checkinâ the windowâ he said, his thick Scottish accent rolling over you like the warmest whiskey. âThe stormâs not gonna burst in here anâ take us by surprise.â
You gave him a playful glare. âMaybe Iâm just making sure youâre not going to bolt back outside for some harebrained stunt.â
Hazardâs laugh was deep and rumbling, like distant thunder, but far more comforting. âAye, Iâve done my share of daft things, but I will not be leavinâ yer side tonight. âSpecially when itâs this cozy.â
You rolled your eyes, but the faint blush creeping up your neck betrayed your amusement. âCozy, huh? Youâre just saying that because youâre hogging most of the blanket.â
âAch, come here thenâ he said, shifting to drape the blanket over you properly. His arm slid around your shoulders as he pulled you closer. âBetter?â
You hesitated for a moment, then let yourself relax against him. The solid warmth of his chest, the faint scent of smoke and metal that always seemed to cling to him, made your worries melt away.
âMuch betterâ you murmured, the words barely audible above the storm.
âYe know lass, Iâve been thinkinââ he began, his voice softer now. âIn all my years, Iâve seen explosions, chaos, anâ more close calls than I care to count. But nothinââanâ I mean nothinââcompares to moments like this.â
You tilted your head to look up at him, his expression uncharacteristically serious. âYou mean... moments where youâre not actively blowing things up?â
Hazard snorted, shaking his head. âAye, somethinâ like that. Youâve got a way of makinâ me feel... grounded. Anâ thatâs not somethinâ Iâm used to.â
Your chest tightened at his words, a warmth spreading through you that had nothing to do with the blanket. âYouâre not so bad yourselfâ you said softly, your fingers lightly tracing the edge of his prosthetic arm. âWhen youâre not driving me up the wall, that is.â
Hazard chuckled again, the sound vibrating through you. âAch, admit it, ye love it. Keeps life interestinâ, eh?â
âMaybeâ you said, a small smile tugging at your lips.
He tightened his hold on you, resting his chin atop your head. âYeâre somethinâ else, ye know that?â
The storm outside seemed distant now, its fury no match for the warmth of his embrace. Minutes passed in comfortable silence, the two of you simply enjoying the closeness. His fingers absently traced patterns along your arm, a small, soothing gesture that made your eyelids grow heavy.
âHave ye ever thought about whatâs next?â he murmured suddenly, his voice low and thoughtful.
âWhat do you mean?â you asked, tilting your head slightly to look up at him.
âThis life, the missions, the danger... itâs a wild ride. But sometimes, I think about somethinâ quieter. Maybe a small place of our own. No storms, no explosions. Just us.â His gaze softened, a rare vulnerability showing through.
Your heart swelled at his words, the thought of a future with him warming you more than the blanket ever could. You reached up, brushing a stray strand of hair from his face. âThat sounds perfectâ you whispered.
His lips curved into a soft smile, and he leaned down, pressing a gentle kiss to your forehead. âPerfect.â
And as the storm continued its futile assault outside, the two of you stayed wrapped in each otherâs arms, dreaming of a tomorrow filled with peace and quiet moments just like this.
Eyes are a gateway to the soul
Shadows eyes where filled with so much joy and love when he is with his sister Maria
I mean look how happy he was with her. She was his world.
When you love something more then you love yourself, thatâs when you experience true loss. And shadow loved his sister, he still does. But that spark⌠the spark she gave him, will never be the same
but thatâs the thing about grief and loss. You change.
but that love, that pure love only this brother and sister can have was beautiful. Maria and Shadows love for each other.. is one of the best things in the sonic franchise. Because they just wanted to be a family. They just wanted to have each other, they just wanted to live a life together. Cause thatâs the greatest treasure anyone can have is to spend a life with the people you love. But Maria and shadow never get that chance. And thatâs why itâs so heart breaking.
Iâm like trying to find all the hazard interactions and I really wasnât expecting him to be that soft, empathetic, funny, sarcastic and throwing shade at the overwatch agents
And Iâm actually really happy they didnât give him that extremely cocky personality and gave him a really lovable personality and I quite enjoy that for him

Summary: After the reader has been avoiding Hazard due to work along with concerts, they finally meet upâŚand they meet a special guest?
The cool night air brushed against your skin as you stood at the edge, the city sprawling before you like a sea of stars, distant and flickering. You inhaled deeply, feeling the weight of the moment in the quiet, as if everything around you had paused to listen.
For the first time in a while, you felt calm, and maybe even a little vulnerable. It was just you and Hazard, standing together in a place that seemed untouched by time. You could feel the heat from his body not far from yours, but it wasnât intrusive. It was... comforting.
âSoâŚâ he began, his voice breaking the stillness. âWhy do ye always turn me doon when I try to get ye to meet up?â
You shifted uncomfortably, the question catching you off guard. You had known it was coming, but the words felt heavier than you anticipated. âItâs not just because Iâm busyâŚ" you admitted slowly, turning your gaze back to the city below. "I think I just... donât do well with people. Especially when were getting close as we areâŚ?â
Hazard watched you with an unreadable expression, his cybernetic hand resting on the railing. âPeople are hardâ he said, his voice gentle. âBut sometimes, theyâre worth the risk.â
You laughed bitterly, the sound hollow in the stillness. âMaybe. But after everything... I just donât trust easily. Two of my exes used me for fame, and the other... they were never really there for me. Itâs hard to even want to try again.â
There was a long pause. Hazard didnât say anything right away. He just studied you quietly, and when he spoke, his voice was soft. âYeâre not the problem. Those arseholes who used ye⌠theyâre the ones who missed oot.â
Your chest tightened at the sincerity in his words. He sounded so sure, and it made you feel... something. Something you hadnât allowed yourself to feel in a long time. âYou really think that?â
He nodded, his eyes not leaving yours. âI dae. Yeâve got somethinâ special, somethinâ they couldnât see. And thatâs their loss.â
For a moment, neither of you spoke. The city stretched out before you, the world a blur of distant lights. But despite the distance of everything around you, in that moment, you felt close. Vulnerable, even.
Hazard broke the silence after a long pause, his voice low, almost hesitant. âYeâre not the only one with a messed-up past, ye know.â
You turned to him, surprised by the change in tone. He wasnât meeting your eyes now. His gaze was fixed on the railing, his fingers absentmindedly tracing the cold metal.
âMy arm, my legs... they werenât always like thisâ he continued, his words slow, deliberate. âI was caught in a collapse during a mission. I didnât think Iâd make it oot. But I did. Just... not the same.â
Your heart sank, and you instinctively stepped closer, wanting to comfort him. But before you could speak, he held up a hand, shaking his head lightly. âIâm noâ tellinâ ye this for pity. Iâm just... tryinâ to say that I get it. I know what itâs like to feel like yeâre noâ enough. To feel like things arenae ever gonna get better.â
You swallowed, the weight of his words sinking in. âHazard...â
He cut you off, his voice suddenly more guarded. âBut I got through it. And I think ye can, too youâre much more than ye let on and i think thats what i likeâ ADMIRE from ye.â He turned his head, as if trying to shake off the vulnerability of the moment. âAnyway, let not talk about that, Weâre here, right? Letâs just enjoy the view.â
His attempt at a lighthearted shift was clear, but it didnât go unnoticed. The way his voice faltered, the slight hesitation in his movementsâit was as if he had almost said something else. Almost.
You watched him carefully, but he quickly straightened up, his usual confident smirk returning. âRight. Enjoy the view.â
You nodded, though a part of you could feel the shift in the air, a crack in the facade he so often wore. Your heart pounded in your chest as you realized he had almost said something more. Something deeper. But now, there was only the quiet hum of the city, and the feeling that there was something more between the two of youâsomething unspoken but undeniable.
But Just as you were about to speak again, the sound of paws scuffling along the rooftop interrupted you. Hazard looked over his shoulder, a soft smile crossing his face.
"Alright, enough of all this heavy stuff" he said, pushing off from the railing. âIâve got someoneâ Iâve been meaning to show ye.â
You raised an eyebrow, about to ask what he meant, but before you could, a small, fluffy blur bounded around the corner and rushed toward you. The little dogâs tail wagged furiously as it jumped up to greet you, barely able to contain its excitement.
"Meet Massie" Hazard said with a chuckle, stepping aside as the dog pranced over.
Massie, with her scruffy coat of black and brown fur, looked up at you with big, eager eyes. You crouched down, a smile forming on your face as the dog sniffed at you excitedly, her small frame bouncing around your legs.
"Whoa, hey there!" you laughed, reaching down to pet her. Massieâs happy yips filled the air, and you couldnât help but feel lighter as the dog licked your hand, looking up at you with pure joy.
âSheâs a bit of a handfulâ Hazard admitted, watching you interact with Massie. âBut sheâs good company. Keeps me grounded.â
You looked up at Hazard, grinning. âI can see that. Sheâs adorable.â
âYeah, sheâs been with me for a whileâ Hazard said, a softer tone slipping into his voice. âI got her after everything happened. Sheâs been the one thing that never judged meâjust... kept me company when I needed it most.â
Massie, oblivious to the deeper meaning behind Hazardâs words, wiggled in your lap as you scratched behind her ears. âSheâs definitely good at thatâ you said, feeling the warmth of the moment settle over you.
âYâknowâ Hazard added, his voice low, âMaybe this is what I needed, too. Somethinâ simple. Nothinâ complicated.â
You nodded, your fingers still gently brushing Massieâs fur. âI think I needed this too.â
As Massie snuggled in closer, her playful energy filling the space between you, you realized that the night had shifted in ways you hadnât expected. You were no longer standing on the edge of something unsure. You were here, in this moment, with Hazard, and for the first time in a long while, you didnât feel alone.
You met his eyes, a small smile tugging at the corner of your lips. âI think I could get used to this.â
Hazard raised an eyebrow, a playful glint in his eyes. âJust watch out. Massieâll steal your heart before ye know it.â
You laughed, Massieâs tail thumping against your leg. âIâm starting to see that.â
And with that, the quiet comfort of the night settled around you, the hum of the city below and Massieâs soft panting the only sounds. Hazardâs presence was steady beside you, and for the first time, it felt like maybeâjust maybeâthis could be the start of something new. Something worth waiting for.
It was almost too much to process, but for once, you didnât feel like running.
Not yet.
How would it be a first date with Jack, Hanzo and Moira? đ¸ Also loved the hc thank you so much đ
Sure thing, anon. Actually I wrote this a long time ago but they were in Spanish (VersiĂłn en EspaĂąol (pt 1) (pt 2)) so I just translated them. I hope you enjoy them, and I hope my english isnât too bad. Aaaaaaah kill me UvU
Give this poor man a break. He just wants to fall in love again.
But he want a pure, long lasting love
I think the first time he asks you out, he takes you for a walk at dawn in the park.
He offers you his elbow so you can walk by his side.
During the promenade you guys would talk about well, everything.
Donât expect a lot of details about his private life yet; he will need a lot of time to trust you entirely.
If you get tired, Jack would look for a bench with a nice view so you can sit a while and keep talking or just stare in silence.
Old habits never die, he accompanies you to the front door of your house and doesnât go till you get inside.Â
He is not the kind of guy that goes out with anybody so he would have to like you a loooooot to ask you out
Hanzoâs perfect date is a tea/coffee place where you can sit and have a nice talk.
Donât you even dare to pay! He wouldnât let you even if you invited him first.
At the beginning he would be serious but donât worry itâs just part of his personality. After all, heâs trying to impress you with his modals and etiquette.Â
Yes, even in a small coffee, heâll make sure to keep his composure.
I think one hour will be enough for him to start having a more get-along attitude.
If the talk gets better maybe Hanzo would offer you small smiles every now and then.
Youâll notice that heâll stare a lot, thereâs nothing wrong; heâs just taking notes.
Donât expect a first date kiss. He is attracted to you but heâs a reserved person. Plus, he doesnât want to ruin such a nice date with a childish kiss.
Sheâs not the one to invite. Youâll have to invite her first.
Museum date, where she can share with you her knowledge and views on the pieces of art. Actually, itâs pretty interesting, she knows how to keep your attention.
A date with Moira could be a bit uncomfortable
Sheâs too sarcastic and her humor itâs not for everybody. But youâre on a date with you, right? That means sheâs interested so sheâll try to make a better conversation.Â
Youâll find yourself mesmerized by her admiring the museum.
If she really likes you, youâll hear small compliments dressed as insults like:Â âUhm, you surprise me.â After you say something smart.
Moira stays into the museum until closing time. Actually, a guard had to ask you to leave.
Anyway, you go to a bar and have a drink after that.
She takes you back home.
No kissing. Maybe just a small peek on the cheek or on the back of her hand.Â
HERE IS MY TAKE ON GENJI because no one asked:
Genji was once a man with nothing but anger in his heart. When he was deployed in Blackwatch, it had blinded him to their clandestine operations. Much more than that, it had blinded him from reality. Genjiâs own brother, the one person he had trusted the most, was willing to sacrifice him for no other means than to uphold the very legacy Genji had been born into. In his youth, he felt blessed to be a Shimada. But after that day, he realized his name was nothing more than a curse.
But he had grown wiser, saw the error of his ways once he had trained under Zenyatta. His mind was no longer fogged with turmoil. Rather, he had come to peace with the events of his past. He had considered himself a different man, then. Forged himself anew, approached life with a different perspective. And when he met you, he felt his life changing for the better. Butterflies arose in his chest, his heart fluttered, and he cherished every moment the two of you shared.
He knew it was wrong. He knew he was feeding the dragon inside him he never wanted to awaken. But he couldnât deny who he was, a Shimada. It was in his blood to fight for what he wanted, to possess you in anyway he could. All his efforts to suppress his desires had no effect. No amount of excess training nor meditation could stop him from thinking of you. In fact, his deepest fears were only beginning to fester further the more he tried to neglect them. Impulses and compulsions began to manifest. He followed you. Learned your routine and centered his life around it, sneaking long walks to trace your every move. You were none the wiser, thinking every meeting was nothing more than a coincidence. He endeared your naivety and your innocence that allowed him to remain in the shadows of your life.
The anger that had once consumed him before had begun to turn into something far more dangerous. Love. Because he wanted it. He didnât want to dispel it like a plague, he wanted to nurture it, allow it to blossom into the most beautiful flower. Loving you from afar made him feel whole. Tore him apart from what ailed him, soothed his aching soul that hadnât felt so light as when he was with you.
When Genjiâs father passed, there was no room for love in his life. His father kept their family pure. He and Hanzo were unadulterated by the thirst for power, he had hardly understood it then. All he knew was the freedom to frolick in his familyâs luxuries and his own youthful innocence.
Though now he had liberated himself from his former trauma, he enjoyed your company because it reminded him of those simpler times. You were kind to him, just as he remember his motherâs kindness before she too tragically passed. But he could feel the love he was yearning for in you, and he would to anything to take it.
