Genji x reader - Under the stars
.
Being an agent in overwatch was a rewarding yet an enduringtask. The people you’ve met had changed your life for the better. People likeLena, Jesse, Hana they all always made your day much more bearable and youenjoyed every single second you spend with these people. However, the personwho made every waking moment a fruitful and filled with such merriment was noneother than the younger Shimada, Genji. His good natured teasing, sassy commentsand comforting hugs were among the things you loved about the cyborg. The twoof you became instant friends when you first stepped foot in the overwatchbase. You always laugh whenever you recall your first meeting with Genji.
Flash back
This was your firstday as an agent in overwatch. A place responsible for the world’s safety inconjunction with the UN. A place for nothing but serious matter and being aresponsible adult.
You held a box ofnecessary item you needed for the day, mainly consisted of your trainingclothes and couple of other things.
You walked down thepristine white halls, agents quietly conversing amongst themselves. Thoughts ofbeing the new recruit clouded your mind.
‘How will I even makefriends, everyone is so serious around here! I must not disappoint thesuperiors, can’t risk getting scolded on the first day and destroy myreputation before I even start’ you rambled in your mind, lost in your thoughtsyou didn’t realise the rapid sound of heavy footsteps as you turned the corner.
As you turned, you were hit with such a heavyimpact your box flew several meters and you harshly fell on your butt with aheavy weight on top of you. You shut your eyes as you fell.
‘Argh, injured on thefirst day, great’ you mentally thought.
“Oww” you softly letout, slowly fluttering your eyes open and met face to face with a cyborg mask.
“I guess you couldsay, I fell for you” The person who fell on you said with a teasing tone.
Your face immediatelyburned up as you pushed the male off you. He fell with a thud and an “Oof”sound. You promptly stood up and looked around.
Laughter could beheard as two more people rounded the corner.
“Genji! That was theworst pick up line ever” one of the Girls said in her thick British accent.
“Even McCree would’vehad a smoother line Gen” The other smaller girl laughed.
Their gaze then fellon your sheepish form standing there. You tried to avoid their gaze.
“OH! You must be thenew recruit, I’m Hana!” the smaller girl introduced herself as he made her wayto you and hugged you. You hesitantly hugged back.
“Sorry about this, love. I’m Lena by the way” The British girl said as she held out her hand. Youshook it and introduced yourself.
The male began gettingup, rubbing his behind.
“That loser is Genji.I bet you didn’t expect this sorta welcome here” Hana laughed.
“Far from it actually, didn’t think I’d get rugby tackled by a ninja” You laughed as you looked atGenji.
He let out a heartfeltlaugh which made your heart flutter with excitement.
“Didn’t think a littlegirl like you could throw me and my charm off that easily” He replied withtraces of teasing and good natured tone.
A smile graced yourfeatures as you giggled at his retort. You held out your hand for an actualintroduction.
“Let me introducemyself properly, I’m [y/n] nice to meet ya” You smiled.
“I’m your friendlyneighbourhood ninja, Genji” He said as he shook your hand with a firm grip.
Lena and Hana lookedat each other with a clear grins as they knew it would blossom into somethingmore than a friendship.
End ~
You spent all day, every day with the cyborg whenever you had days off. The pair of you became inseparable after that day. Even during missions where both of you were paired, it was always seen as asuccessful mission. Then you two would often lounge on the roof under the stars and just crack jokes with each other. It was always soothing andcomforting having him near you.
Today, Genji was deployed to a mission and you were stuckwith paper work. You longed for his upbeat and fun nature, it was deathlyboring without him around. You sighed and looked over at the clock.
5:05
‘Almost over, just 25 more mins’ you thought.
You completed all works that was needed to be done and ontime. You left for dinner to meet up with the others.
“Hey [y/n], wait up” You heard Jesse call from behind you.You turned with a smile on your face as you waited.
“Jesse Hey” You conversed with Jesse while you walked to thedinner hall together.
“I take it, Genji still hasn’t come back from the missionthen” He said noting the absence of your partner in crime.
“Yeah… they said it’ll take a day but …” You began as youlooked ahead.
“Ya know, you should tell ‘em” Jesse said, which caught youoff guard and stumbled in your step. Jesse laughed.
“Tell who what?” you questioned, trying to hide thepainfully obvious blush.
“Ya know who [y/n], it’s quite obvious to everyone around ya” he pointed out and as you entered the dining hall.
You began pondering about what Jesse had said, aboutconfessing. You felt flustered at the thought of telling Genji about yourfeelings.
After dinner you left to clear your head and get fresh air. Thecool night air was refreshing and provided a soothing comfort. You climbed tothe roof, which provided a great view of the star filled sky. You laid down withyour arms crossed behind your head and you fluttered your eyes shut. A contentsmile graced your features as you enjoyed the stillness of the night. Momentshas passed with you quietly enjoyed the company of the wind and coolness. Until…
“I knew I’d find you here” A gentle Japanese accented voice calledout and your ears perked.
Your eyes fluttered open as you sat up looking over to theowner of the voice. Genji’s from was illuminated by the moonlight which madehim seem magnificent and otherworldly. A smile instantly crept to your face.
“You’re back” You stood up and embraced him.
You wrapped your arms around his lean torso, despite hisbody consisted of metal plating’s, his body emitted a calming warmth. His armssnaked around your smaller form and hooked around your waist.
“Seem like someone missed me” He laughed, his bodyreverberating. It made your heart flutter against your ribs in an excitedmanner.
You giggled as you pulled away and lightly slapped hischest.
“It’s not fair, I was stuck with paper work whilst you wentout for a mission” you complained as you took a seat where you previously hadsat. Genji followed shortly after.
“Hah, neither was that time when you got the last pizzaslice last week. So I guess we’re even” He said, teasingly poking your poutedcheeks.
You angrily huffed and leaned against his form. You gazed atthe sky. Millions of sequined stars stitched against the deep vastness of theeternal dark sky, illuminated all creations under its presence. It brought youcomfort and wonder.
“It’s a beautiful night” You said, smiling.
‘Not as beautiful as you’ Genji thought, but too shy to sayit out loud.
“It is” he softly agreed.
Then, the words Jesse had said to you earlier echoed in yourmind.
‘You have to tell him [y/n]’ his voice sounded.
You turned to look at Genji, who was lost in thought gazingat the sky. Then his gaze abruptly turned to you as if he was about to saysomething.
“[Y/n]… I have something to confess” at the sound of this, you heart began to race. Suddenly, feeling very anxious for the next collectionof words. His hand reached for yours, intertwining your fingers with his.
“I…” He began but couldn’t form the immense number ofthoughts clouding his mind. The ninja sighed and looked down at yourintertwined fingers.
“Genji…” you began, giving him a reassuring squeeze toprompt him to continue.
“Ever since the first day, my whole being…felt different. Asin, I feel the need to be with you always, to feel your hugs and see you smileover my corny jokes and just…” he began trailing off and avoiding your gaze.
A shy smile graced you features as you gazed at him. A sighescaped his lips, and he pressed the buttons on his mask to release it. You hadseen his face before, as you were one of the few he was comfortable to show histrue identity to.
“Genji-“
“I just really like you [y/n] and I wish for you to be mine”He said sincerely whilst gazing into your soul, his deep dark eyes bore intoyour soul.
You let out a relieved sigh and launched yourself at theninja, starling the poor boy. You wrapped your arms around his neck and buried yourhead in his chest. Still surprised, genji tightly wrapped his arms around youand laid back down with you on top of his form. You pulled back and stared athim with a soft smile.
“I’ll be yours until all the starts fall out of the sky” Yousaid smiling, as you cupped his cheek.
Genji smiled up at you, leaning forward and melting intoyour touch, he placed his hand on top of yours.
You began leaning closer and closing your eyes until you closed the gap. The feeling of his lips against yours, wasdelicate and filled with passion you both shared for each other. Your handsoftly caressed his scarred cheek as you felt your heart begin to race form thecontact. You had been awaiting this moment for a while and it’s almost surreal, feeling the person you love reciprocate their feelings. You felt Genji smileinto the kiss as you began to pull away.
A heavy blush formed on your delicate features as helovingly gazed at you.
“I love you, Gen” you smiled as you leaned to peck his lipsquickly.
“I love you too, my little blossom” He smiled.

Hi! So I'd like to request (if you want too) headcanons of Hazard and reader having a hard-core flirting thing going on. But neither is making a move and everyone's like bro KISS ALREADY-
You can decide who makes the first move!
(Also I love ur writing I need more of this man)
What it would be like to hardcore flirt with Hazard (JUST MAKE OUT ALREADY)
General Dynamic
- Hazard and you are constantly locking eyes in conversations, but instead of looking away, they hold the gaze with a subtle smirk or eyebrow raise. It leaves everyone in the room feeling like a third wheel.
- Their banter is razor-sharp but never truly mean—it's like a game of verbal chicken where both are testing how far they can push before it gets real.
- Leaning too close while explaining something, brushing fingers when handing over items, or Hazard casually putting your hair behind your ear because “it bothered him”.
- Hazard calls Reader things like “sweetheart” and “hotshot” while Reader shoots back with “tough guy” and “Spiked for brains”. The nicknames become progressively flirtier over time.
Group Reactions
- Mutual friends and even the Phreaks are so done with it. Constant comments like, *“Will you two just kiss already?”* or blatant matchmaking attempts at group events.
- Hazard will throw a “don't wait up" as Reader leaves the room just to rile everyone up. Reader, unfazed, winks and says, "You wish."
- The group starts theorizing that the prolonged flirting is some kind of elaborate prank or game they're playing with each other.
Hazard’s Style
- Hazard loves to lean in close when talking, with that trademark smirk, and then back away *just* as it seems like he might actually say something meaningful.
- Occasionally, Hazard lets the guard down—just for a second—saying something like, *“You’re not as bad as I thought you were,”* before immediately covering it up with a laugh.
- Hazard steps in when needed, whether it’s someone hitting on Reader or a dangerous situation, but plays it cool after, with a casual, *“Can’t let anything happen to my favorite rival, can I?”*
Your Moves
- You play the game just as well, but occasionally stumbles over a quip when Hazard’s intensity catches them off guard.
- After you found out that Hazard likes to be praise, you tend to sneak in small praises like “You’re annoyingly good at this, y’know?” which Hazard always catches and turns into a smug grin or if you catch him guard…you’ll just see a freshly made tomato :].
- You LOVE to outdo Hazard just to see that spark of competitive fire in his eyes—whether it’s in training, arguments, casual bets or just to see how much flustered can you get him before he breaks.
- Speaking of breaking first, one night, when the teasing’s gone too far, Hazard corners you, smirks, and plants one hand against the wall beside your head. "Ye’ve been dancin’ ‘round this for long enough” he says, his voice low, laced with that distinct Scottish lilt. You raise an eyebrow, trying to hold your ground despite the way his words send a shiver down your spine. “Oh, do you? Go on, Hazard, enlighten me." His smirk deepens, and he leans in, his breath warm against your ear. "Ye want me tae make the first move. Admit it, lass." You let out a scoff, though your voice wavers slightly. "Big words for someone who’s been as scared to do it as me." Hazard pulls back just enough to meet your eyes, his teasing smirk softening into something sharper, more determined. "If ye think I’m scared, ye dinnae ken me at all." Before you can fire back, he closes the gap, catching your lips in a kiss that's rough and unrestrained, like he’s been holding back for far too long. When he finally pulls away, his breath mingling with yours, he grins, his accent thick and dripping with smugness, "Told ye I’d be the one tae break first." You grab the front of his jacket, pulling him closer, a smirk of their own spreading across their face, "Don’t get cocky, Hazard. This isn’t over yet." And just like that, the tension snaps, the teasing taking on a fiery, new intensity.
How would it be a first date with Jack, Hanzo and Moira? 🌸 Also loved the hc thank you so much 💖
Sure thing, anon. Actually I wrote this a long time ago but they were in Spanish (Versión en Español (pt 1) (pt 2)) so I just translated them. I hope you enjoy them, and I hope my english isn’t too bad. Aaaaaaah kill me UvU
Give this poor man a break. He just wants to fall in love again.
But he want a pure, long lasting love
I think the first time he asks you out, he takes you for a walk at dawn in the park.
He offers you his elbow so you can walk by his side.
During the promenade you guys would talk about well, everything.
Don’t expect a lot of details about his private life yet; he will need a lot of time to trust you entirely.
If you get tired, Jack would look for a bench with a nice view so you can sit a while and keep talking or just stare in silence.
Old habits never die, he accompanies you to the front door of your house and doesn’t go till you get inside.
He is not the kind of guy that goes out with anybody so he would have to like you a loooooot to ask you out
Hanzo’s perfect date is a tea/coffee place where you can sit and have a nice talk.
Don’t you even dare to pay! He wouldn’t let you even if you invited him first.
At the beginning he would be serious but don’t worry it’s just part of his personality. After all, he’s trying to impress you with his modals and etiquette.
Yes, even in a small coffee, he’ll make sure to keep his composure.
I think one hour will be enough for him to start having a more get-along attitude.
If the talk gets better maybe Hanzo would offer you small smiles every now and then.
You’ll notice that he’ll stare a lot, there’s nothing wrong; he’s just taking notes.
Don’t expect a first date kiss. He is attracted to you but he’s a reserved person. Plus, he doesn’t want to ruin such a nice date with a childish kiss.
She’s not the one to invite. You’ll have to invite her first.
Museum date, where she can share with you her knowledge and views on the pieces of art. Actually, it’s pretty interesting, she knows how to keep your attention.
A date with Moira could be a bit uncomfortable
She’s too sarcastic and her humor it’s not for everybody. But you’re on a date with you, right? That means she’s interested so she’ll try to make a better conversation.
You’ll find yourself mesmerized by her admiring the museum.
If she really likes you, you’ll hear small compliments dressed as insults like: “Uhm, you surprise me.” After you say something smart.
Moira stays into the museum until closing time. Actually, a guard had to ask you to leave.
Anyway, you go to a bar and have a drink after that.
She takes you back home.
No kissing. Maybe just a small peek on the cheek or on the back of her hand.
You didn’t understand why Winston insisted on you and Genji doing missions together. At first, you were just confused. Genji was fast, and agile, and quiet. And you, while fast enough you suppose, were loud and conspicuous. Genji was a quiet breeze that swept in the storm clouds and you were quite literally the lightning that followed. Flash shouldn’t follow subtlety.
But Genji was so kind, and so gentle, and so encouraging. You became confused about other things. About Life. About Luck. About Love.
You tried really hard not to think about love.

• Tails was about four years old when he first met Sonic - which would normally be dangerous for any kid that age to go on crazy adventures - but his big brain managed to make up for that.
• Why does he prefer his insult name given by his old bullies? Easy. He’s not a fan of his birth name as it’s just a cheesy pun (and he’s not that fast either).
• Sometimes he uses his two tails as feather dusters to clean up his workshop after a messy build. Bits of dirt are left within his fur and some of his friends notice without saying.
• He may be the ‘younger brother’ but there are times Tails would tell Sonic off whenever he behaves impatiently.
• Despite being a genius, Tails wishes to spend more time with kids his age such as Cream and even Charmy. The former does set up play dates at her house and they do have a great time.
• As we know, mint candy is Tails’ favourite food. But not only that, he has some mint herbs around this house because he loves the smell of it as well.
• His parents still live on West Side Island… somewhere. Tails barely finds the time to see them again with all the inventing and saving the world to do; all he does for now is write letters about his adventures with Sonic.
• Much like real foxes, Tails is a night owl. He can be found working on projects very late, and he sometimes finds it hard to know when to call it a night. Warm milk does tend to help him sleep.
Solder76 x Reader where they only recently got together.
“Does it ever get stuffy in your mask?”
Soldier76 turned around. “What?”
You were curious, reaching for his face the instant he faced you. He immediately leaned back a few inches.
“Surely you must take it off some times to rest - ”
“Now is not the time.”
You backed down. “Why are you hiding?”
“I’m not.” He said gruffly, but judging by the way he refused to look at you, it was obvious that was a lie.
You found his hand and grasped it tightly, prompting him to turn back to you. “If you’re still afraid that I will leave you…” You squeezed his hand in what you hoped was a reassuring way. “I won’t. I promise.”
A minute of silence stretched between the two of you. Every time he looked like he was going to say something, nothing happened, and you started to wonder if you’ve been reading him wrong all this time.
You sighed, tracing the dips and ridges of his gloved hand. “If you’re not comfortable with me knowing, I won’t force you. I’m just curious, that’s all.”
He exhaled deeply, his body relaxing slightly, the tension slipping away just for a few moments. You didn’t see a well-trained soldier - you only saw a worn-out man who wanted - needed - some love and care.
You weren’t expecting anything. It was nice just to sit for a few hours, having that time solely to yourselves. But then he slipped his hand out of yours, and for a moment you wondered if the mask was too sensitive of a subject.
Before you could start to berate yourself, he reached up and removed his visor.
All you could do was stare. Memorize his features before he put it back on again. He gave you a tired smile, one that didn’t reach his gorgeous eyes. “Still thinking of staying?”
You laughed. It started softly, bubbling from your throat. A mix of excitement and relief. He trusted you. You said softly, gently, “Why would I leave?” He blinked, face devoid of emotion for half a second, as if he couldn’t grasp your intentions.
You weren’t going anywhere.
“I’m not with you because of your absolutely handsome face,” you snuggled up to him, determined to give him all the love you had. “I’m with you for who you are. To me, you’re perfect.”
He wrapped his arms around you, and for a few hours, both of you could pretend everything was perfect.
