Bart Week Day Five: Horns And Scales

So YouTube came out with a recap thing for the year...

And I think I might be a little obsessed.... Just a bit...

In my opinion, duvets/comforters and quilts are different flavors of blanket. Blanket is an umbrella term for anything that covers you when you're sleeping.

Infinight Intern Pillows

(Because its the only thing of 4 that I could find on the art app)

I tried to use their colours and general vibe to help make them their own.

HCs under cut

- Gum Gum and Bart have the same inner pillow, same colour ect. Its the ones they were given in the orchardnage, which they brought with them when they left (the Orchardnage keeps having to get new pillows) (its a problem)

- Kyborg tried to find a pillow case which was like the pillows in his house as a child

- Someone on the Jebediah made Bart’s pillow case so he wouldn't mix it up with others

- Mudd picked his from a selection, because he liked the colour

- Gum Gum sleeps completely wrapped up in his blanket. He sort of snuffles in his sleep (probably due to tusks)

- Bart is a warm sleeper so tends to just sleep in trousers

-Kyborg snores but swears he doesn't, but also doesn't sleep that much, mainly trances when they are out. He used to get nightmares but not as much since he joined the infinights

- Mudd is a light sleeper so has earplugs, sleeps the most, and woe betide anyone who wakes him too early.

- Mudd has a very soft comfy bed with lots of heavy blankets back at HQ, whereas Kyborg has a slightly firmer bed and a single neat duvet to "optimise sleep," and also so doesn't spend too long in bed - he likes to get up early to train.

- Bart and Doctor Ahem instead reinforcements to their bunk beds so it wouldn't break when Gum Gum was messing around.

- Kyborg puts his hair in a long plait to sleep in to protect his "perfect hair"

- Mudd's HQ bed also has curtains, which are very similar to moss

This scene literally made me cry, and the amount of detail they put in it is insane.

So, one of the cleanup artists posted the shot they did of the scene where Tilla's face goes up in flames and I gotta admit, watching that scene without any of the special effects like the fire, for example, just makes the scene so much more brutal.

Like just look at how clearly you can see Tilla's skull disintegrate into a bunch of tiny pieces in the cleanup shot.

Also shows just how much care and attention to detail are put into helluva boss' animation as well.

Anyways, I'm excited to see what Micah wrote up.

I feel like kyborg would be just super fast in anything he did (physically not opening doors or solving puzzles) and I think the walk around when they’re adventuring just to get places and I feel like he’d always walk really fast and take pride in waking fast, but mudds and gum gum would be really slow and Bart would be pretty fast but compared to people who are 3-4 feet taller than him and a elf on steroids he would be pretty slow. This would mean that kyborg wouldn’t be able to walk fast but he wouldn’t want to walk slow so he would just walk circles around the gang, and I mean that litteraly, like he would be swerving left and right next to his freinds like a race car and just bumping into everyone and everything in his path.

Also Bart would hate having to walk so quickly to keep up that he would just get a skateboard or roller skates and if he really didn’t want to move he would just have gum gum drag him on his wheels.

I'm rewatching Murdoch Mysteries, and I gotta say.... Watching Murdoch fumble Julia so badly over and over again, knowing they end up together is the most frustrating, yet relatable thing I've ever seen.
