I'm getting so close to finishing this. Just been really busy lately. Can't wait to show to you all!

I drew my persona as a Pretty doll, very proud of this piece. I like to imagine that Lou wouldn't like how wild my hair is, and forced me to tied it back as he finds it a bit distracting. This will also be used as my new profile picture.

Being a prototype for the PrettyDoll’s toy line has been hell for Lou. Constantly having to be a perfect example to the other dolls, following strict procedures, and having little freedom, it was all too much for poor Lou. To make things worse, he has to go through these testing phrases where he’s torn apart and put back together.

Eventually, Lou got sick of it all and wanted to get away from the pain. Little did he know, he was going to run into the Original; The Prototype. The Prototype greets Lou in a calm manner, understanding his pain. He lets Lou know that he has a plan to free all the experiments from Playtimes Co.’s cruelties, and ask Lou to join him in his rebellion. Without hesitation, Lou agrees; sticking by The Prototype’s side, no longer feeling alone.

Author note: Yay!! I been wanting to make this post for a while, but my old IPad had a reboot loop issue and I had to get a whole new one. Definitely gonna try to post more ideas on this au, but I also want to do some Cookie Run fanart as well since I got back into the game earlier this year. I’m also planning to do some commissions, so look forward to that. :)

Phos from Chapter 1. God, they changed is so much it’s sad. I miss them.

i will just. word vomit all my emotions and feelings first… like the way adamant finally shattered at the command of phos… and hearing adamant say his final words to phos kinda snapped my heart in half ^_T at this point, phos has lost everything, including their comrades, their true self and identity, and now, their only master who had loved them unconditionally. I’M… i’m going insane…. it’s pretty nuts to know how much phos is burdening in every update… ichikawa is over here like, “but wait, there’s more..! ;-)” (and not the way she lost her ps5 raffles rip sensei… someone help her)

all sadness and despair aside, i found this chapter to be incredibly compelling not just with ichikawa’s captivating visuals but with another interesting development with phos. aechmea has been an interesting “antagonist” since the beginning, and i appreciate his role in driving phos forward, for better or for worse. their dynamic is insanely interesting!! it’s very likely that aechmea appeared to manipulate phos into putting adamant’s eye on. i think… he might have been there to distract phos in order to take all of their broken companions, perhaps to provoke phos and force them to pray. i’m only guessing, as they’re now left entirely on their own (literally can’t go anywhere either; they have no means of lunar transportation? and i am like, so sure aechmea ain’t coming back lol)– and it just feels like the only thing they can do now is…. pray. that would ultimately be what aechmea wants, so maybe?? i also found it really peculiar that phos hallucinated the six impacts, and it makes me wonder if adamant had suffered through these visions during his time on earth ;; i’m not sure why phos is seeing them now, but i’m curious about its symbolism to the story and what this could mean for phos here on out.

i was relieved to see phos’ anguish for their broken friends dissipate, but upset that they can’t make amends since aechmea took them all away LOL…. like ok great, cool ^_^!! i almost cried when phos desperately tried to search for adamant, shinsha, and the others so they could put them back together, but they were all missing…. also, to address the ask above, i wanted to give my perspective on the earth gems! everything ichikawa writes is never black and white, meaning there are many perspectives that deviate from a single story. phos has valid feelings of emotional turmoil, but it doesn’t mean their actions were moral. to the earth gems, phos appeared to be corrupt and became a potential danger to their society and adamant. all gems struggle with communicating their feelings and can’t comprehend what they need in order to tend to their emotional grievances. their natural “solution” is to bury issues; they went through centuries doing that in the time of war, and they would continue to do so because it’s what they know. everyone has their own agenda of “right” and “wrong”, so being angry at the earth gems for their reaction towards phos felt a bit bias. anyway, i hope we get to see the earth gems come back before the series ends!! they’re technically ok….though, i wonder what they’ll decide to do with them…if anyone has more 94 thoughts to share, i’d love to know!! thank you for reading my thoughts and cries!

What if Playtime Co. made Uglydolls?

Well for starters, I imagine they would make their debut before the Smiling Critters would. Their sales will be decent, but not as good as Huggy Wuggy. Mainly, because kids find them boring with their blank faces, or don't find their personalities engaging. Eventually, they would get overshadowed by the Smiling Critters due to how ambitious Playtime co is with the franchise.

In terms of experimentation, some would act like wild animals while others would have some intelligences. They would mainly be in the laboratory since the orphans in Playcare prefers to play with the Smiling Critters than the Uglydolls. Each Uglydolls would be given a small task they have to complete before the end of the day. If any were to failed, or refuse their task, they will be either punished or destroyed.

One of the Uglydolls, Moxy, hates living in the laboratory, because how cruel and unfair each scientists. Doesn't help the fact that she has to watch her kind get harshly punished or destroyed. She wants to help, but is too scared to do anything that could get her in trouble. That's until when she meets the Prototype. He promised her a chance of freedom if she persuade her kind to participate in the Hour of Joy. Such an offer wasn't something Moxy could pass up, so she reaches out her hand, not knowing she will still only endure more suffering.

A very interesting idea I came up with, and probably explore more of it in the future.

There’s an account claiming that they work for mob entertainment and they seem to be answering certain questions regarding Poppy Playtime’s lore (how the human characters act, when playtime.co was created, etc which should go against some sort of NDA contract that you guys may have?), and most people are believing them without hesitation.

Now I do not believe anything to what this person is saying at all due to their lack of evidence that they even work for Mob entertainment and how they act towards shipping with only the Smiling Critters.

They have also reposted art from you and a few other artists without giving credit.
