Everyone In Naruto: Hold On Stop Fighting A Minute I Think My Backstory Might Be Sadder Than Yours

On one hand, I’m so unbelievably exhausted right now. It’s been a long, stressful week, and I want nothing more than to go to bed and sleep.

On the other hand, it’s not even 4pm yet. And I should probably do things.

Decisions, decisions…

What kind of manga is it anyway? Action? Romance? Comedy? Shounen or shoujo?

The best part of this panel is that Sero is borrowing some manga from either Todoroki or Bakugo and I can’t figure out which is funnier.

You can’t forget that Hizashi is canonically smarter than Aizawa so like. Just imagine.

There’s so much I love about @corndog-patrol‘s Villain Mic AU, like how much it’s inspired by Megamind, the silliness, the fluffiness, both Mic AND Eraser being dumb in different areas and to varying degrees, Mic regularly singing, etc. 

My mind keeps coming up with new funny scenarios and scenes,

Like,

1) First of all, given what we’ve seen in the manga? Both Aizawa and Yamada are best friends- who are also the type of best friends who are constantly little shits to each other. The likes of revealing embarrassing stories about your bestie, drinking his beer without permission, etc.

And even though they presently don’t recognize each other in the AU? Still the same energy as when they were teenagers at Yuhei, where they were probably even bigger little shits. Mic’s still too much in his crush phase to consider behaving like that with Eraser. But old habits, in this case, not only die hard but get revived - especially when you’re deliberately teasing and annoying your best friend again, because you unconsciously recognize him. (So far Mic has mostly annoyed him unintentionally(?).)

2) Tying into 1) and these disaster men getting to know each other better. Mic loves and likes a lot of things about Eraseread. One thing he hates is the man’s martyr attitude. Like, he’s really crushing hard on him, but with his interest, he’ll also quickly realize that somebody needs to buy Eraser some dozen survival instincts.

It’s unbelievable. The man is so smart and pragmatical, something Mic admires, that it baffles him why the fuck he is running on what seems to be a twisted ankle after a villain. The same one he already twisted earlier this week.

Okay, now he’s kicking with that leg. Now he jumps and- Ouch. Oh. Fuck. That looks like it hurt- He’s running again???

It builds up. Mic’s crush is a hardy and intense thing, focused on everything that he admires about the underground hero so that even seeing him makes him happy. But even it can withstand only so much in the face of Hizashi’s growing concern. And disbelief. And irritation because Eraserhead keeps dismissing his injuries and doctor’s orders when it comes to his job.

Like. The man’s supposed to be smart. Sure, it’s great that he wants to help people this much but he’s just human! Even the cool Eraserhead can only do so much. But Hizashi, being who he is, ignores his irritation. Instead he focuses on how he can help him, buys medical kits, watches first help videos on the internet.

Then, one day. Mic nearly drops the kit he’s carrying. Around the corner, he has spotted Eraser, clothes in almost tatters, a large gash on his forehead, and ignoring Recovery Girl of all people trying to get him to sit down.

“Don’t worry, it’s just a scratch.”

Record scratch. Hizashi’s mind blanks. He can’t have heard right, right?

“I’ll but a band-aid on it later.” Nope, he’s heard right. That just won’t do. It’s a snap decision to open the first aid kit.

“Hey, SHITHEAD!” Eraserhead turns around because LOUD. (Also, since when does Present Mic insult him??)

Cue Erasure cancelling because of packaged, sterile gauze rolls smacking into his face. His hair flops down. The gauze rolls flop down.

“If Recovery Girl of all people tells you to sit down and let her treat you, then you do as she tells and LET HER TREAT YOU BEFORE YOU BLEED OUT!!”

Mic throws his arms up.

“Fucking hell, how can you be so dumb? I expected you of all people to know better than to recklessly charge into situations when you’re hurt!” He continues his rant for another minute before he stomps off, still steaming because he’s so mad at Eraserhead.

He leaves behind Shouta, completely baffled that Mic didn’t even try to flirt with him once, and an amused Recovery Girl.

It starts the ritual that Hizashi keeps medical supplies on him and chucks them at Shouta when they meet and he sees Shouta’s hurt.

So. After the ddos attack on ao3.

I was encouraged to write more comments and make my love known to fanfic writers.

I dont really like commenting. Because im a bit shy and soooo lazy.

Now though. I am writing more comments. And dude. This is so heartwarming. Ya'll need to treat writers better. They are doing the lord's work.

Take for an example, couple of days prior, i was searching for something interesting to read, and found an oneshot quite compelling.

I read it. At the end of it, i was blown away by how good it was. It promised me something and it went beyond my expectations. But then i saw a crime, zero fucking comments!

At that moment, i wasn't feeling up to writing a comment. Because, normally i like to write huge paragraphs. But because im lazy i decided to be brief.

Next day, the author answered that the comment lift their mood for the whole day.

That warmed my heart.

Duuuuuuuude! Write comments! Suport the writers of the fics you like! No need to be something super elaborate. Just give your thoughts. Freak out. Ramble. Ask something. Make theories. Compliment. Make a joke about how you wished to give kudos every chapter but ao3 sucks(not true bby) and won't let you.

Truly. Just. Comment. It can make someone's day. And that is part of the apeal of writing fics. Interacting with people.

Just give love to fanfic writers yall. They deserve this and so much more.

casually rereading this story that’s pretty good, and I get to the end and find out this author hasn’t updated in like three and a half years. what a jerk, not giving me more to read.
