listen, my social worker “woke” gay roommate called the cops on me when i had a psychotic break. that was his first reaction. he didn’t attempt to contact my friends or family first. he also illegally prevented me from entering our apartment to pick up any of my furniture or personal belongings. at that point, he knew more about psychosis than i did because it was first episode psychosis. social workers are absolutely violent to people with psychosis. i don’t want to see that post supporting them replacing police or other services again.

Take a cake mix from a box. Betty Crocker, Pillsbury, Duncan Hines, whatever the hell is on-sale.

They usually ask for you to add in some water, some cooking oil, and egg whites. 

Fuck that bullshit. 

Instead, replace water with milk (or buttermilk), use butter instead of oil, and use the whole goddamn egg. Toss in some extra vanilla extract. 

If you want to make it a bit spiced, add in some cinnamon/nutmeg/allspice

Want to make it gently lemony? Zest some lemon peel into the batter. 

Want it extra dense and moist? Add another fucking egg, half a package of vanilla pudding powder mix, and make sure to whip that batter extra hard and long.

Cops are trying to push a narrative that pits protesters against small business owners, they’re trying to ingratiate themselves to seem more liberal by putting rainbows on the sides of their cruisers, all the while violently acting against small business owners who stand in solidarity with the protesters. They are not only terrorizing non-violent protesters (Medics! They’re terrorizing MEDICS!), but they’re carrying on in their longstanding tradition of wrecking LGBTQ+ spaces. Cops don’t actually care about small business owners, and they sure as fuck have never been LGBTQ+ Allies.
