Twelve Forever: Escapism is important in a stressful life, especially for children, but depending on it is unhealthy to the extreme, it’s important to live in the real world too. Growing up is scary, confusing, and involves many things that will make you uncomfortable in your own skin, but it is also inevitable and facing it head on with help from those who care about you makes it a little easier. The most important lesson you learn as you grow up is that the world doesn’t revolve around you and your needs, your friends don’t owe you all their time, and that’s okay. You parents will sometimes mess up, drive you crazy, and, honestly, won’t understand you, but if they love you they’ll never stop trying. Growing up means growing apart from people you were once close to, including family. You can’t be a child forever, you need to enjoy as long as you can, but you also need to know when to let go of your childhood…but never forget it. Children are selfish, creative, emotional, and stubborn, and have no idea where their life is going or what to do when they get there, and that’s okay. They just need a push in the right direction.

I've come to make an announcement: @nickelodeon is a company that killed a great show and should revive Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles with @netflix just like they did with Glitch Techs! And since they killed an amazing show, so I’m gonna say this, and continue to support ROTMNT in anyway I can.
Okay I don’t see a lot of people talking about it, so imma do it myself. Here is a non-spoiler way of talking about a Visual Novel I just played called “Winds of Change” by: Klace *ahem* S o... the art is amazing, and the story line while yes has a few issues, aren't that big, and the choices you can make are actually impactful to the story, while yes in general the same endings will play you can either have more characters, or less depending on how you played, not to mention the weight they have about such choices, plus the soundtrack is amazing. They leave some of the music on repeat in the background and while you can tell it never gets old especially when the story is so in your face, and I a heartless soulless husk of a being hasn't cried since Feb. 15, 2016 I actually almost cried at the end, of this game, and knowing me that is a feat. And while I can go back and replay it to get "better" choices, I think the ending i got was poetic and just to the characters that were apart of it. I get that the style won't be for everyone I EXTREMELY recommend this game to all furries, even if you aren't one it's a game you should give a shot it has given a time I wont forget soon, and I hope that the day I forget any of it is the day I die. Plus the 1-1 with the different characters are all natural and not really forced in my opinion so it leads to great chemistry with all of them. Anyways that’s just me. It’s like 25$ on Steam so if you can buy it, I hope you have a great as a time as I did while playing it.
I binged season two of Aggretsuko over the span of a couple days, and thought of course I really enjoyed it (though I think I might have enjoyed the first season a tiny bit more), I at first didn’t have too much to say about it. However, the popular topic at the moment seems to be Tadano and his treatment of Retsuko, and I wanted to post my thoughts since I can’t really bring myself to agree with either of the popular takes at the moment, mostly because I feel they’re both too extreme on either side of the divide. In other words, I don’t see Tadano as completely innocent and incapable of manipulation, but I also don’t see him as a malicious and definitively abusive partner to Retsuko, either.
Further analysis beneath the cut.

as a chinese person, the number of white-people made aus of monkie kid make me incredibly uncomfortable,,,
i’d be happy to explain the cultural significance of sun wukong in an asian context! but for now, i’d just like to say that the characters like sun wukong are very much integral to our culture and making aus to put them in a white context (ie pirates of the carribbean) is an incredibly disrespectful take, not to mention incredibly ignorant
some of the gods in jttw and monkie kid are still being worshipped today, much like in my family and my friends’ families so i ask that you also don’t include them unless you have done proper research or made by an asian who has made the au
and please please please don’t ignore asian voices. like this is one of the few things that are empowering us in media and to have that taken away and fetishized is so hurtful
