Hey Everybody!

Hey everybody!

I've been hanging around on this blog for a while now. Seeing all your amazing projects combined with the enthusiasm of the lovely @anightravensecho and @dreamsofbooksandmonsters has convinced me to introduce myself a little more clearly ^^.

My name is Anne. I'm a student and enthusiastic reader and writer. I started this blog because I make aesthetics moodboards when I'm stressed and I enjoy talking about writing projects. I thought I should combine the two and make fanart for WIP's and OC's. I'll certainly continue this, but I want to throw in some more writing-related stuff, too!

I used to be hooked on fantasy, and though this genre still has a special place in my heart, I now read (and write) anything and everything. I play a lot with diversity and (art-) history in my work. My current WIP is called Elementary (as a working title). It's a historical fantasy, set in England around 1800. It’s about a band of traveling artists/magicians (The Elements), each of them having left their homes and joined the group for their own reasons. I follow a couple of them throughout the story as they slowely split up.

I'd love to hear all about your work! Please do come into my inbox for a ramble, a question, a talk, a rant or to request an aesthetic moodboard. And maybe like or reblog this, so I can check out your blog!

Love and happy writing!

Would you make an aeshetic for a preexisting character or an RP muse?

If the internet is informing me right, an RP muse is a original character too, only used for RP instead of writing a novel? Because in that case, sure, hit me up! (And if it’s something else, please do explain, I like to learn). I don’t mind making a moodboard for an existing character either, but my main plan is to work for OC’s by writers (or drawers, painters, LARP’ers, anyone who would like it). As I am not busy yet, though, you could send me existing characters too!

what is one thing you absolutely need to write?

For a deadline: I need to write a short story that is respectable and good enough to send to a potential publisher.

For myself: I need to write a story about leaving and homecoming, about friends and family and love and how to find out if you have told the truth when you are not sure anymore. I need to write about the beautiful pointless passion of people. And I need to write about the gravestone with the poem etched into it, because I cannot stop thinking about it.

You all have such lovely Noah’s! I would like to join your Noah squad, if possible! Here’s some info on my Noah: * 12 years old * Blond hair sticking up in weird directions and grey eyes. He has a yellow raincoat that he likes wearing and a black backpack with a never ending collection of rope, sketchbooks, broken pencils, gum, paperclips, a slingshot, old cookies and change. * Always running * Loves trainstations because they are full of colors and smells and people and noise and life. * Only child * Befriends a twenty-something art student by running into him, toppling him over and almost destroying his latest painting * Can be very serious and mature for his age * Can also be very silly * Firmly believes that popcorn and crips should be eaten together, at the same time

I see you also have a Noah! What's your Noah like??

Yes! Welcome to the Noah Support Squad, t-shirts pending.

Noah Ramsey Facts:

18 years old

ISTJ, Gryffindor, Scorpio, etc. etc.

Light brown skin, dark brown hair, splotchy freckles that get more prominent every time the writer mentions them

Enjoys running

Majoring in exercise science

May or may not have killed his powerful, magically gifted grandmother

As a result, is cursed with messed-up magic - his mind sometimes decides to astral project without his body’s consent

Full of sarcasm

Rolls his eyes so much that they’ll probably get stuck that way

T1 diabetic

Twin to August Ramsey (he’s the younger twin, please don’t remind him)

Stubbornly independent

Follows the rules

Threatens to murder someone on a regular basis (though the thought of actually hurting anyone makes him sick)

Tries his best, but doesn’t know how to people sometimes

Please tell me about your Noah!!

I’m only following 67 blogs, I definitely need more blogs to follow

Reblog this post if you post any of the following and I’ll check you out!

mythology (all types; if we’re talking specifics though, I’m mostly interested in greek/roman, celtic and japanese myths and legends)

aesthetic (preferably soft or pale aesthetic, any aes will do though!)

literature

writing

original content creators (meaning if you create your own moodboards/edits/graphics etc.)

I would love it if my mutuals could possibly reblog this to help me out?

what is the most unique aesthetic you've either created for a character, or someone has sent into you?

That's a difficult question! I've read such awesome character descriptions and I hope I created something nice for each of them. I am still very happy with the Instagram-aesthetics I did for @futureauthor-mabye, that felt like a unique little project!

I am also satisfied with all my Waterwegen aesthetics, especially the one I made for Paco and the one I created for the full story. It's a story with a very distinct feel to it and I like to think I captured it pretty well.

everywriterneedsfanart - Art imitates art
Art imitates art

This blog will combine three things I love dearly: writing, talking about writing, and aesthetics. So if you have an amazing OC for which you crave an aesthetic moodboard or Instagram page - tell me all about them, and I will make you one! After all, every writer needs fanart.
