Tim Makes A Face At One Of His Goons And Jason Kicks Their Ass. Later He Finds Out That That Specific

Tim makes a face at one of his goons and Jason kicks their ass. Later he finds out that that specific goon beat a kid half to death.

I like to imagine that, after Jason stops trying to kill Tim, he still doesn't like the teen. It's not outright hate, but he doesn't really like the kid anyways.

However, anyone Tim doesn't like, Jason immediately doesn't trust them. He's seen Tim work with and forgive people who have literally tried to kill the teen. If Tim doesn't like someone, they had to have done something really fucked up. If Tim doesn't have proof, Jason's still willing to trust the kid over the other person.

DinLuke Ficlet: Outsider Perspective

It was, in hindsight, perhaps a poor idea to suggest to the Jetti that he couldn’t handle a Mandalorian in combat without force-pushing them. Paz realized this a little late, his feet sailing over his head, back smacking against the training hall’s wall with a solid, painful ‘thud.’

Imagine this with me. Alex, all of 16 at the moment and 15 when they-thought- beat Lankman to death. Meaning Lankman is ENITRELY sure that Alex was manipulated. Alex was not in fact being manipulated. Alex, a petty vengeful little bitch, was in fact fully in control of their actions and Clyde fucking charging them with the intention of a hug-that Alex thought was gonna fucking eat their ass because of the promise- and fucking books it out of the room when Winfrey distracted Clyde for a moment.

So, Lankman genuinely believes that Alex was being threatened into helping Clyde. Therefore starts a manhunt in the name of 'saving' Alex who ran away from Clyde on fear of being eaten. (Refer to THIS and THIS for more info) Lankman intends on 'taking the poor teen in' and 'helping them overcome this terrifying experience'.

Alex is fucking pissed when they're dragged away from Grimm(veldigun OC made specifically for this storyline) and forced into being under Lankman's care.

Grimm is even more pissed when his human is taken from him. That fades to mostly amusement as he watches Alex-who he watched fucking throttle an idiot human who got a good shot in on him a few weeks ago- be infantilized.

more forgotten ending

More stuff has been thought up for the forgotten ending via discord rambling- Mostly around the fact lankmann lives-

aka- lankmann and his giant savior complex-

basically- in the forgotten ending- alex assumed they had killed lankmann- but they hadn't but lankmann- FULLY BELIEVES- alex meant to not kill him- that alex didn't want him dead-

lankmann believes the alex was completely forced into the events of the sitcom- completely removing all of alex's agency and pretty much infantilizing them-

this also has a effect on eastridge- alex is viewed as a martyr and people who weren't around while alex was there fully think they had to be younger- like- 13-17

Overtime- lankmann even begins the believe this- "alex was a child working their first internship- they were a child dragged into this by monsters" why would he believe anything else? those old reports and files? must be wrong- must have gotten altered somehow- alex was a child- why would he believe anything else?

Prompt 88

  In a world where every human starts with blood that’s a very bright red, only darkening by one taking another’s life, Tim is very careful. Apparently even using explosions in warehouses and wherever else the league of assassins had set up counted as killing, to his slight horror. He couldn’t let his team know of course, even if they joked about joining him if he turned villain.

  It was one thing to joke, but if they saw his blood, pitch black and dark enough to nearly swallow the light around it? He really doesn’t want to see the horror or disgust. He isn’t going to let anyone know if he can help it.

  So it’s a really shitty situation when one of the henchmen of one of the rogues decides to break his nose and about fifty-something people are suddenly very aware of his very high kill count. He has a choice here. And he isn’t entirely sure if he wants to deal with the consequences of either of them.

YJ has completely given up missions because Tim had gone ‘bad feeling’ randomly while halfway there. An hour later, when they were supposed to be inside, the building went up in flames. No one made it out.

It's my hc that the Bats are freaky good with their intuition, and it drives the JL mad. Why? Because Batman gets cranky if someone deviates from the plan and his lectures last for 𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘴. On the flip side, he or the Birds will suddenly freeze, stare at seemingly nothing, and then force everyone to take long detours out of nowhere. When asked what the hell is going on, all they say is they "got a feeling."

Most of the JL is comprised of metahumans or nonhumans so they straight up don't understand what is going on. The non-metahumans also don't understand why the Bats trust their gut instict so much.

I hc that the Bats trust their feeling so well because Bruce taught them to be more observant than the rest of the population, and because of some specific training of Bruce's. He learned it before he became Batman.

Out of all the bats, Jason is the best with his intuition because of his training with All Caste.

After Jason, Cass is the best with feeling out people. It's not because she can read their intentions through their body language. It's a proven instict based on that one guy she didn't like 3 years before they committed their first major crime.

Dick is the best at situational intuition and "reading a room." If he suddenly tenses, the Bats trust that instinct for trouble.

Tim has the best foreboding instinct because he's dealt with so much stupid shit that it might as well be a 6th sense.

Jaster tries to break into the Temple Archives in increasingly inventive and ridiculous ways. The Temple Guard take bets on how much time will pass between attempts (the shortest was two hours, the longest was seven months) and film the whole thing for the rest of the Guard to watch later. Madame Nu has a sixth sense for when he’s making an attempt and makes her paranoia everyone else’s problem. Mace gets sympathy headaches.

The closest he ever got was the main doors to the Archive.

DPXDC prompt ~ Honor to Us All ~ Gotham as one true the most haunted city edition

~~~~~
Instead of a welcoming banner in front of a city was an old column, so familiar to a boy, with a warning inscription:
"To outsiders mad enough to attack Gotham: You will be forced to understand that dead soldiers will also go into battle. And having risen to protect, they will be ready to perish all again, So no one of the living would die near them."
Danny smiled with love. 'I’m home, Mother.' Ghost whispered into the void. And Gotham answered.
~~~~

Danny: My Lady, I brought you the crown of Pariah Dark. And The Ring of Rage. They’re gifts to honor the Gotham family. Lady Gotham: The greatest gift and honor is having you on my side, child.

~~~~~
Danny Fenton was born in Gotham and lived here until his parents decided to move. The city didn’t accept them.
'When I die, I want to be one of the Gotham Knights.' Little Danny with pride and eagerly reported to his parents after visiting the Battle Glory of Gotham Museum on a school trip. This evening, Danny learned that not all his plans should be told to his parents.
Danny know his parents are crazy about ghosts. and that all ghosts are "bad". But obviously, the ghosts they talk about, and his, or rather Gotham's, ghosts are completely different creatures. The spirits of the defenders are those who, even in the darkest of times, make the shadows of the Gotham a protection to the citizens.
But that knowledge is his little secret for now. Because if he starts arguing he’ll be punished and he won’t be able to run off to the roof where he’s arranged to meet Robin. Robin’s cool! He works with one of the 'still-living' knights. And he knows more about the city than anyone. Danny doesn’t want to offend his friend.
~~~~~

Mr Lancer doesn’t understand why the lecturer about ghosts, Constantine, after seeing Danny, said something about the bloody gothamites and their inability to stay underground. It wasn’t nice at all. Mr Lancer doesn’t blame Mr Fenton for smiling at the man a little aggressive and viciously. Poor boy probably didn’t know how to respond to his behavior. Danny moved to Amity Park a long time ago and did not stand out at all. So what was this man’s problem?

Danny only half dies because Lady Gotham blessed him when he was a child. So when Danny sees snow-white hair and glowing green eyes in the mirror, he is not frightened but surprised that the Lady protected him even though he is not living in Gotham now.

~~~~~
Danny knows gothamites don’t consider that Gotham is a part of the USA. Even their Metropolis neighbors are just pathetic cowards, unable to withstand the hardships of life. No, really. Why the hell would they be patriots of the country that thinks they’re its dirty secret? This opinion is shared by old ones and children, rich ones and residents of Crime Alley, heroes and villains.
Danny loves Gotham. And he likes local jokes about how if one of their supervillains ever took power enough to threaten the government, he would be obliged to release them from that citizenship. Otherwise, he would be shamed and ridiculed by the inhabitants.
Phantom is not a villain. But for Gotham? For their common purpose? He is ready to pretend to be.
~ A ghost can bring his city ~ Great honor in one way ~
DPXDC Prompt ~ Honor To Us All ~ Gotham As One True The Most Haunted City Edition
Gothamites remember that the child of mad scientists was the only person Boy Wonder was willing to call a friend. They remember how boys' laughter was heard from rooftops and from alleys on particularly dark nights. And they know whose restless spirit has returned to mourn the death of the second Robin.
The boy’s parents must be fools. Many outsiders are. They call their blessing a curse. People die in Gotham. And not all of them come back. Residents know that these ones are chosen by Lady Gotham herself.
The public enemy of Amity Park number 1? What nonsense. He is not theirs anything! In Gotham they will accept the Phantom as a guard, as a silent shadow, as a villain or a hero. In any kind. Because he belongs here. He should be part of their dance between life and death. He should be amidst dark alleys and acid rains, gliding between fear and laughter in the air.
Even local villains experience strange yearning. Like something’s wrong. Like a piece of a puzzle that’s lost. Therefore, the local abandoned observatory is empty, and none of them is in a hurry to call it their territory. Because it will be in demand, it will be loved and needed. It’s only a matter of time.
Let the spirit of Gotham guide you home, child. Dead gothamite is still gothamite. Which means there will always be a place for you.
~~~~~

When Danny first enters his favorite cafe in his Phantom form and with a wound on his leg, he doesn’t expect a cleaning lady to yell at him immediately for the blood on the floor. With a mop in his hands and with already bandaged leg, Danny feels as if all his worries had gone. They are not afraid of him. Of course. No one in Gotham would avoid him because of glowing eyes and sharp teeth. And that’s nice.

The waitress throws a tray of food on a table next to him: Welcome dinner for the wandering son of the alley. Red Hood said it's your usual order. He’ll be waiting for you on the gargoyle. You should know which one.

~~~~
If parents listened to his childhood stories about good ghosts, they would know that the Phantom is not special. He is not an anomaly of ghost nature and not a mistake. He is one of many who always were and will be defenders of the city. Danny stands in front of the costume that he admired years ago. He's ready to take another shift at work. The remains of his colleagues can rest quietly this night. Lady will wake them only when in dire need.
Bruce is rescued from the time stream and eventually returns home to recover. For the life of him he cannot figure out why Tim is not staying at the manor and Dick is being horribly vague about it in what Bruce easily realizes is guilt. Eventually Bruce does track down Tim and asks him what happened. What can he do to help? If Tim is alright. And Tim breaks down. He’d been holding it together for so long but here’s his dad, with open arms ready to fold him into the familiar and comfortable warmth and Tim tellshim everything.
Needless to say Bruce is furious. He and Dick have a very long heart to heart. Bruce doesn’t blame him, not entirely. Dick has always tried to do what he thought was best, but he dropped the ball this time. So Bruce says that as soon as he’s ready to hit the streets again, Dick is going to take a break. He’s going to relax. He’s going to talk to Tim when Tim is ready because even though it wasn’t the intent you still hurt him and Dick need to take responsibility for that. Bruce says he’s done well with Damian so far, but things are going to have to change because this house should feel safe for all his kids and right now, half of them don’t feel safe because of Damian.
Bruce also sits down with Damian eventually, but that’s with Dinah present because he knows he’s not the best with words but he’s not gonna mess this up. he wants his family to be whole. It takes a while because Damian is an emotionally repressed reforming killer, but eventually they work out that his dislike of the other members comes from a place of fear and they work together to create ways to help Damian feel secure with his place in the family. No, Bruce won’t send him away, but he needs to see Damian making active attempts to change or there will be consequences (consequences that will be laid out in plain terms like grounding or being benched from patrol or community services but never physical punishment).
Through all of this, Bruce has this simmering rage boiling beneath the surface as he talks to and sorts out his family. Because at the end of the day, while his kids have adult responsibilities, they’re still kids/young.
You know who’s not young? The members of the Justice League. So Bruce, recovered enough and with permission from Tim calls a meeting of the league where he spends the next 5 hours ripping them all a new one. Because seriously?
“My kid, my teenage vigilante son, effectively loses everyone and everything he loves and cares about over the short time span of a couple months and your response to said traumatized teenager is to turn you backs on him?”
He then proceeds to go through the backstories of every villain in their roster and how they came to be villains in the first place then proceeds to tell them that they should thank their lucky stars that Tim still kept most of his moral code because good people have turned evil for less than what you all did to him. If Tim turned evil then nobody here would have survived and Bruce states it like a fact, because out of all his kids, Tim is the one who could set the world on fire successfully and get away with it.
Bruce then goes through every hero who has died and come back to life both with a body and without. Shocker it’s a lot. “You really looked at the smartest of my Robin’s, the one I knew would find the clues I left behind, and chose not to believe him because there was a body?” bruce was livid.
He then walked them through the early evidence Tim had gathered and if anyone had bothered to actually take a look, they’d have probably agreed. Even if they hadn’t, everyone grieves in different ways. They should have helped Tim find the evidence because either he was right and Bruce was lost to the time stream, or Tim was wrong, and as meticulous as Tim is, he would eventually reach the conclusion that Bruce was really gone. But no, they gave him the cold shoulder, cut him off from the resources that News Flash! Robin had helped set up, and kicked him to the curb.
Bruce then drags them through most of Tim’s adventures over sea’s and once again reminds them that they should thank their lucky stars that Tim is a stronger man then any of them are because Ra’s ah Ghul is a master manipulator and Tim had just been abandoned by everyone he ever thought cared about him. Tim alone could do serious damage if he applied himself, but Tim backed by the LOA. Ha!
Because Bruce was feeling spiteful and Also thought it would be therapeutic for Tim, he had his third Robin create a plan that would hypothetically bring all of the league to their knees and turn the public opinion against them. Total free reign, but Tim had to show how he would do it, where the resources were coming from, and the time frame.
Because Bruce was right and this was fucking therapeutic, Tim made two different plans. One plan was created assuming he didn’t have the backing of the LOA and one was made assuming he did. In both plans their were audio recordings from the core four members as wells as other younger heroes who all confirmed that, “Yes, Tim, If you went rogue and decided to systematically destroy the Justice League we would 100% side with you.”
For shits and giggles Tim made a third plan that didn’t involve the use of any of the heroes that pledged their services to Tim’s villainy.
Bruce had Tim do this just so he could make it clear just how close they had been to complete and utter destruction had Tim been just a little less morally sound.
a few members complained about how if he took down the Justice league then no one would be able to protect the planet and beyond to which Bruce simply hmm’d before pulling up the next slide which was a list of new heroes he would replace the league with, how he would position each of them to gain the worlds trust, and again, audio consent from each hero that they would totally help Tim because most of the people Tim had worked with know two things about their Robin.
1) Tim always has a plan and Tim’s plans always work in the end, no matter how much they have to shift on the fly. You do not want to be on the receiving end of a Tim plan because you will lose no matter how long it take for it to happen because the boy is meticulous, petty, and utterly relentless.
2) Tim is a cinnamon roll who forgives too easily and if you fucked up enough for him to actually plan against you? Oh yeah, you’re officially the villains In our book.
Is it concerning that a lot of the you get heroes would turn on their mentees at the drop of Tim’s hat. Yeah a little. They should probably keep a closer eye on them. Not the point.
Bruce goes on to also remind the JL that Bruce funds most of this organization, and Tim is who Bruce legally placed in charge of anything happens to him.
It’s a very long meeting to say the least. Bruce signs off saying that he and his family are going on a sabbatical. Tim’s calling a few favors with some people who will watch Gotham while they’re gone. Under no circumstances outside of world ending threat are they to be contacted. And if Bruce hears of anyone saying or doing anything to Tim or saying trying spread rumors about him, then they should remember that Batman is where Tim learned many of his skills from and Bruce will protect his family from them first and foremost.
I am 100% sure that Tim has gaslit a rogue or a random villain into thinking that Tim is their friend. I vote on it being Riddler or Joker. Joker because Tim wanted to get close enough to kick his ass. Riddler because Tim wanted t know how he thought of the riddles.
no offence to jason but tim's the one bruce should be directing all that "the second i looked in the small child's eyes i knew he was dangerous" energy at. tim's the one getting job offers from supervillains every tuesday. but alas tim is also the better liar
