Simon lovelace headcannons because I'm a lovelace stan and very bored.
Just.. Simon and Alec and comic books. Thats all I'm gonna say.
Simon and izzy tease eachother 24/7. Teasing is izzy's love language and it became a thing they do.
Simon playing make believe with max and rafe (and showing them the wonderful world of pirates, wizards and knights)
A bit random but i think he'd very unironically listen to bohemian wapsody and just any wap remix.
Simon is a viner. Case closed.
Simon has a feminine side that just kicks in at certain times and its just the cutest. Izzy doing his makeup, painting his nails and simon braiding her hair.
Simons a surprisingly good cook
I always thought that he'd have problems discussing his emotions, or just bottle it up entirely until he breaks. Thats kinda the way he was portrayed in the books, not wanting to make himself a problem for others so it seemed to me that he was kinda depressed and not willing to show it (in my opinion).
Simon being really good at cards (again, random, but it seems to fit).
He's a lot better looking than he thinks he is
Anyways. I'm new here so idk if this is a standard post but here you go.
My best fan art medium is creating my favorite characters in fashion games
I could not read another fantasy/YA after finishing TFTSA, the Cassandra Clare to realism/adult fiction pipeline snatched me up and spat me out.
at the end of the day no other series has given me the same high as the mortal instruments
Like at first he'd be scared but after a while he'd just be really chilled about it, and the kidnappers would get so annoyed.
Kidnapper: If your friends don't give me the i formation i need, I'll break that pretty little face of yours-
Simon: aw you think I'm pretty?
Kidnapper: you won't be talking like that when i break your fingers one by one, cut them off and feed them to you. If they dont come soon-
Simon: dude, i get it. You'll kill me. Unless i die of boredom first. Do you ever stop talking? I mean I've been told i never stop talking but jeez, you're getting a bit much.
Kidnapper: I -
Simon: do you ever wonder why you exist? I mean, I know I was conceived, but why am I actually here? How many random events occurred to create me? What if i were to just dissapear. Would people notice? Would they cry? Being kidnapped gives you afew perspectives on just how terrifyingly random life is. I wouldn't have ever been able to read lord of the Rings. Oh. You look confused. You've never read it? That's ok, I'll tell it to you, we have all the time in the world. So it starts with this...
Kidnapper: * unties him*
Simon: what are you-
Kidnapper: just.. Just go.
Kidnapper: we have your vampire friend.
Izzy: Simon?
Kidnapper: Yes. And if you want him back, we want all information on Valentine and the Mortal Cup.
Clary: Trust me, that won't be necessary.
Alec: Yeah, you took Simon. Good luck with that.
Kidnapper: Wha-?
Call hangs up
Kidnapper: ...
Simon: So, have you watched Star Wars?
My favourite piece of fan art ever.
This is why Simon and Clary’s friendship is so elite
Bad news for the haters of the world: Clary Fray is based as fuck. Literally everything she does is justified, and frankly I would have been worse.
I just have to ask. Are the divergent books worth reading? Theres so much hype about it so i got the first book and tris is so annoying. She's so typical: "I'm so small and everyone underestimates me" "I love you but I'm not supposed to" "my friends are all jealous of me".. Gurl if you dont stfu i swear. I've read the first one, does it get better? And its written in first person. Do i have to deal with her annoying commentary for the whole series or is there some other perspective? Its not just that steriotype. I liked clary in tmi because she had those steriotypes but they didn't make up her entire character. I liked izzy in -"the exsct opposite of okay" because of the same reasons. But with tris, that's pretty much the only character she has. I keep expecting her to do something even slightly unpredictable and she never does... Just wanted to ask the community if the other books are better than the first one.
jace teaching simon how to flirt is the most homosexual thing in this series and that includes malec
"The state of the hair of the New York Institute is strong, and with the exception of a single mishap, which we are recovering from, we foresee only positive developments in the domain of our hair in the months and years to come."
do you ever think about how Simon gave up his most cherished memories to save people who didn't even like him? to save the relationship of someone who didn't really like him (yes, Alec Lightwood, I'm talking about you) or are you normal?
don't get me wrong, I love Alec (and Malec), and his development is one of my favorites, but I hardly doubt he would do the same for Simon if the roles were reversed. Simon knew that losing Magnus would destroy Alec, and that Alec being heartbroken would destroy Izzy, so he did what "was right" to save them. no one, except for Izzy, stopped to think what the effects doing that would have on Clary, or even Jocelyn or Luke, who had known Simon since forever.
anyway, sorry for my random (and pretty much unfinished - I got distracted) rambling
