Not me thinking you were leading with “saving Jimmy Olsen” into some rare pair. Cuz Jimmy/Dan would be HILARIOUS XD I can just imagine Clark finding out Dan is a world ending threat and suddenly treating Jimmy like that friend/rebellious teen that dates the bad boy with a bike.

Dan works in the Metropolis Police Department and is frequently on scene helping with crowd control during Superman battles.

It starts with saving Jimmy Olsen from a piece of falling rubble. Then helping Lois into the barricaded off Superman fight zone because Dan can tell she’ll get through them no matter what for her story, he might as well go with her and at least be sure she’s safe. Then he helps evacuate an out of control plane that Superman had safely slowed down and gently landed.

It felt like a blink of an eye but suddenly Dan was a part of the small circle of civilians that Superman interacts with daily.

A diary of Tim

Tim wasn’t an Addams , he wasn’t but he could have been. Tim wasn’t a Wayne but he was for a little bit. And damn if that doesn’t fuck with a kids sense of self.

DICK

January 5th

Condition: Concussion and sprained ankle

Dick always new his little brother was odd. It took a special kid of kid to stalk Batman after all and find out his identity… and blackmail him into becoming a Robin.

So yeah his little brother was odd but in a harmless sorta way. He blended into the shadows a touch more than the rest of them. His jokes strayed towards the depressing and alarming. And after Jason came back the violent. Tim could spot the tiniest traces of blood as if they glowed neon. Tim, Tim knew things. Things he shouldn’t, things he wasn’t have even been alive for, he knew. It was odd, but Tim was the kind one. The forgiving one. So it was fine, right?

Dick and Tim weren’t close anymore. Tim had forgiven Damian and Jason but not him. It stung, Tim looked at him as if he knew something, as if Tim was looking at Dick for something and had found his older brother lacking. It stung.

Dick use to be able to make Tim laugh. A special laugh, it sounded like gentle bells, Dick hasn’t heard it in a long time.

His little brother has a concussion and get up anyway.

“Baby bird, you need to take it easy.”

“Can’t cousin Wednesday is calling me.”

“Tim your cousin isn’t here?”

“But she’s calling me???”

Before Dick can blame the confusion on the concussion Tim’s phone begins to ring. His brother was odd.

Dick stays instead of leaving, he’s sick of leaving Tim alone.

“Of course I wouldn’t lie to you Wednesday, I trust you.”

His little brother sounded like bells.

“… it would eat you like poison if you knew what I knew, you would be angry too…”

Tim knew things. It stung.

Dick left the room.

Tim wasn’t there when he came back.

And then the stab wound gets infected cuz Tim doesn’t have a spleen.

Tim doesn’t know what to do with all their concern and decides to

A) runs off to his friends and give Jason a heart attack

B) call Konner crying leading to snooping bats to misunderstand even more

C) run off and hide as Alvin Draper (yj is also concerned so hiding with them won’t work) - gives Jason a heart attack bc now Tim is “missing”

D) slinks back to his apartment, meanwhile Bernard kicks down the manor doors furious (he knows but he ain’t saying shit) cuz from a civilian stand point this is beyond wrong

E) Ras just Ras 🤷‍♀️

F) doesn’t get a chance to do anything, gets admitted to the hospital- Lex Luthor is a welcome visitor to play chess with and talk corporate with - this one give Bruce the heart attack

Warning: Dark, Suicidal Tim, etc. Also small spoilers for the Injustice movie

Had a random thought, slightly inspired by the Injustice movie: what if Tim, in a mental health slump, decided to teach the bats a final lesson? Every time he defends himself against Damian’s attacks, he’s criticized for it. So one day, he just doesn’t.

Damian gets angry and decides to take it out on the person he won’t be criticized for attacking. After Tim doesn’t respond to his taunts, he gets physical, and throws a knife or slashes his sword, expecting Tim to get out of the out of the way or block the blow, and Tim doesn’t. The sound of a blade parting flesh and a body falling to the ground gets the other bats attention, and they turn to see Damian standing there with blood on his blade and Tim’s body on the ground.

(Inspired by the scene in the Injustice movie where Damian kills Dick by throwing a baton (escrima stick? IDK) at him, expecting him to catch it (which, earlier in the movie, he did), and Dick, being distracted, doesn’t, and it hits him directly on the temple. Accident, sure, but caused by recklessness)

Basically Damian needs to learn that attacking other people because you are angry is NOT OKAY. Seriously, if you’re pissed, go beat up a training dummy or scream into a pillow.

Does Damian learn the lesson? Or not? What about B and Dick and the others? How do they react?

Tw: Dark/Suicidal Tim, domestic abuse, psychological warfare, manipulation, mentions of suicide attempt

Tim is tired of constantly fighting back and defending himself. He's tired of Damian and Jason attacking him. He's tired of Dick and Bruce pushing his boundaries.

If Tim just allows Damian to stab him, *he'll* be the one to get lectured for not dodging. It will become Tim's fault, as a trained vigilante, for not preventing himself from being injured.

What does he decide to do?

Resist with extreme psychological warfare no matter the damage to himself.

He starts small.

He curates cases/stories of sibling abuse and starts to leave them in places Dick will find (hacking/messing with Dick's fyp, newspapers around the Manor, files on the batcomputer, a case Babs is informed about, etc). They aren't reflective of Tim's experiences, not yet, but they show common patterns: adult figures not stepping in, siblings being pushed to compete, escalation, negative behaviors transferring to people/things outside of the siblings, etc.

For Bruce, Tim tricks the man into reading an intimate relationships psychology textbook by stating it was necessary for a case. He then keeps tricking the man into reading gentle parenting, boundaries, and other such information.

Jason is much easier. Tim just leaves books of various siblings relationships within the man's safehouses (healthy ones, distant, cruel, enemies, abusive, recent siblings [like adoption], etc). Jason doesn't know Tim is the one leaving those books, but he is intrigued by the "recommendations." A lot of them have other lessons Tim has prepared mixed in as well [which, if Jason finds out Tim is the one who recommended the books after he starts getting along with him, then they can have book clubs ^^].

Tim sends a ton of empathy animal related movies/shows Dick's way so that the older one ropes Damian into watching them.

This takes months, but at no point does Tim relate the lessons to Tim himself yet.

He then starts pouring in warnings. When Damian tries to hurt him again, Tim asks Dick, "What if I was too tired to dodge it?" This is the only time he asks. Dick waves it off cause Damian "knows better" now. I

Tim almost gave up the game right there and then to prove a point. He held back, though.

For Jason, Tim throws in shock-value trauma dump phrases when they meet up to prevent the older one from attacking.

Jason: *pulls out a gun*

Tim: "Damn. You'd think after threatening to kill myself to prevent my future from occurring that I'd be okay with guns. For some reason, they still make me nauseous."

Jason: *holsters gun* "What the fuck?"

Tim: *nods and then disappears*

It kind of trains Jason from attacking Tim unless he wants to hear really fucked up shit that will have his mind spiraling for days.

For Bruce, Tim just points out how and when the man crosses other people's boundaries (but doesn't point out Tim's). He doesn't put any expectation or remedy out. He just indicates it to start Bruce's thought process of "Did I just cross someone's boundary?"

Then Tim feels that it's ready. He won't get blamed for not dodging Damian's attack.

So, he lets himself be seriously stabbed.

This cues Damian into having a mental breakdown. Dick and Bruce oscillate between blaming everyone else and then themselves. Jason, after seeing the shitshow of these reactions, assigns himself (without telling the others) to suicide watch Tim [those trauma dump phrases are working against Tim here].

Once Tim awakens and realizes the mess he's created, he fucking regrets it all. He doesn't want to have to clean it all up and manipulate them into being better. He's also kind of pissed at Damian for not aiming for his heart or something. Damn.

Danny can be summoned but he has to agree to it, so of course he is fully aware of what the summoners want, how he was summoned and if the area is safe.

So when he is about to get summoned by the justice league for a deal he is about to take it

But then he realizes there are a bunch of blood blossoms and multiple spells to bind/weaken him

So with a bit of help from vortex and a portal he sucks up all the blood blossoms and leaves a single paper behind

The jl is shocked when the summoning not only not works but the flowers - that took ages to acquire - were taken

Slowly Batman approaches the paper and when he touches it a voice rings out

"While I would not mind making a deal with you heros, the way you went about it is horrid. Now, you may summon me again, this time with the knowledge that you shouldn't piss off the being you want help from. If you summon me again with the intent you had before, the infinity realm will take it as a war declaration"

Danny was not aware about the last bit and he is also not aware that the league is now freaking out

It starts with the usual 'Justice League has to summon the Ghost King to battle a world-ending threat.' Stick. They decided to do it in the Fortress of Solitude, which took some time to convince Clark to do, but it was the only place that had the possibility to hold the Ghost King if he went off the rocks, especially with all the added protection John did.

So, most of the Justice Leaguers and their sidekicks stood on the outskirts of the giant summoning circle and watched as it glowed a bright luminescent green, and the middle of the circle disappeared, replaced by a hole that, from Superman's place as he hovered a few feet above the ground, looked like a never-ending waterfall of green liquid.

A few minutes passed as everyone held their breath before the waterfall started moving up. Like a volcano, the luminescent liquid shot up and hit the ceiling, falling into drops around everyone. From the water, a shadowy figure appeared, giant and making the water glow brighter with their presence.

For a few seconds after the glowing fountain continued erupting until stopping suddenly and falling back into the hole, a giant eldritch figure revealed as the hole closed up under it.

It looked sort of humanoid, but the most eye-catching thing was its skin. It looked like the galaxy—stars and constellations, planets, and meteors—the being looked like it was made from the galaxy. The stars and planets spun across its skin? And atop his head were wispy white locks, not held down by gravity and flowing with the air in the confined space. On his back was a long cape that reached the floor, and he (it? She? Did gods have a gender, because this being looked more like a god than Zeus did) bent his legs at an angle to not bump his head against the ice roof.

Everyone watched with bated breath as the king, the being, the god reached inside his cape and seemingly grabbed something, coming out with a clenched fist and slowly moving it towards the youngest Robin, the child. Batman barely had any time to swoop in front of his son when the eldritch being opened his hand, and right there, in his palm.

A lollipop.

A green crystal lollipop that made superman fall from his place in the sky and Jon back away from his friend with a pained expression.

The ghost king just gave robin a freaking kryptonite lollipop.

Meanwhile, danny is just wondering why the child touched by death won't take the treat.

Well where is it?!??!!!! Where is the story?!!!!!

“So what there’s just a universe out there where Tim and Jason are best friends or something?”

It was confusing and Konner wasn’t sure how Tim could ever forgive Jason what he’d done in Titans Tower but ….

“Pppfftt. Best friends? This is the multiverse we are talking about! Here I’ll show you some funny ones to lighten the mood!”

Dick felt relieved, two videos in and he wanted to shake his family members. It was nice that Jason and Tim were friends tho, he wanted his brothers to be brothers to each other! He did! But it also left his mouth with a bitter feeling. What is wrong with him?

The scene started with Jason, this one was wearing a suit! No white in his hair to be seen.

Bruce felt something in his chest loosen at the sight.

Jason wrinkled his nose in disgust.

[“- cost Lexcorp hundreds of thousands of dollars in-“] some lawyer aspoused before being cut off.

[“You know what I don’t care if Tim murdered his entire family. Tim is like a son to me.”]

Cass dropped her popcorn, wow just wow.

Konner wrapped his arms around the shorter boy, he was crying.

…

[“Did you really mean that Jason?”]

Tim’s mind was screaming, of course he didn’t mean it. He couldn’t he hates you. Your real dad didn’t want you, Bruce didn’t want you, why would you Robin want you?

[“Of course Tim. Your parents were assholes anyway.” ]

The pit in Jason burned, “So what if I hadn’t died I would have adopted the brat? If I hadn’t died I would be working at Wayne tech and everything would have been all better?” What fucking bullshit.

And what did his counter part mean about Tim’s parents being assholes? Tim was some rich kid who had parent that gave him everything and he still became Robin.

Roy gave him a nudge, “Whatever.”

The next clip played.

Konner pursed his lips, even after all these years Tim was still in denial.

[“Tim they left you alone for 11 months out of the year.”]

“Well at least they didn’t do that in our dimension!” Dick tried to break the ice, they couldn’t have done that. Not to Timmy, Bruce would have known. He would have known and he wouldn’t have let Tim go back to them.

“Tim?”

“What it’s not a big deal?”

Bruce felt like he had been slapped. No no no no. Jack and Janet weren’t the best people he knew that but they wouldn’t have…Tim had told him it was okay that they called and visited and that he had a nanny and and Tim was a liar. Bruce knew he knew and there was no more telling himself Tim hadn’t lied to him. There was no more space left to say he had actually believed him ethier. Bruce knew.

“Tt what mess did Drake get himself into know?” Damian was a tad affronted about this. So it would seem that in these worlds Drake and Todd were close. Tt, well it made sense. Todd hated anyone who hurt kids and it would seem Drake didn’t have the sparkling childhood he had thought he did.

Roy couldn’t help but chuckle, “Look at how smug he is that you have his back.” Jason rolled his eyes, he did that here too. Sure he didn’t say anything about it but … it’s not like he still had a hit out on him anymore.

I’ve been watching a lot of DSMP Karl Jacobs animatics and I’ve gotta point out two things

1 - the portals and doors remind me of the ghost zone

2- his outfit reminds me of the observants and Clockwork
