So I thought I should srew you guys because I realized how less of an importans all of this is. It’s just me screaming in the forest (metaphore for the internet) and some might hear me but most don’t because everyone is too busy screaming their own thoughts into this huge place. But that is not my point my point is I realized I shouldn’t scream into this forest to get anyones attention I should scream into this forest to get my own attention. What do I expect from the stuff I put out there what do I feel while writing/drawing it why do I put it out there? I think most people on tumblr are just searching this big forest and collect stuff they found on the floor but who put it there who draw this beautiful picture you reposted? Who wrote this heart breaking story you liked? Even though I am sure there are a punch of people who disagree, I for myself and not for you think tumblr should be about putting your stuff out there so someone might find it and be happy about it. Be happy! Someone is in a similar situation happy how beautiful a picture looks like or simply just happy because there are people out there who care. So all I am doing is screaming in the forest putting stuff in there for myself and for others. Even though I really would like attention but I mean who doesn’t? That is how we are so let’s move on with our grap and be nice to everyone even though that was not what my post was about when I started but now it is so be nice!

a friendly reminder that microaggressions against asians can also look like this:
pretending to gag at asian food
pretending to be weirded out by asian customs and cultures
excusing cultural appropriation (often through ignoring the stories of asians who have been mocked for wearing their ethnic dress while praising a white person for doing so)
not trying to learn how to pronounce an asian person's ethnic name correctly, or asking, "can i call you by something else?"
adopting an asian name for the ~aesthetic~
using the words "oriental" and "exotic" to describe asian people, particular asian women
ignoring the experiences and stories of south, southeast, and central asians
making sweeping assumptions about asian countries (including their political, historical and cultural landscape)
treating the entire asian community as a monolith and ignoring the fact that the experiences of asian nationals are remarkably different from the asian diaspora/migrant community
co-opting asian aesthetics into creative media without acknowledging their history

Elise: My boyfriend left.
Eryka: Oh.
Elise: It's good I think.
Eryka: I'm sorry. Why?
Elise: Because he knows I'm not in love with him.
(Pause, they make eye contact.
Elise: I've never really... eh... been in love befor.
(as she talks she stands up and goes near to Eryka)
Eryka: You should try it, it's nice.
Elise: No I hate it. It's like a virus.
Eryka: Well how can you know if you never you
(she comes near too)
Elise: Well because when he left he was very angry but I wasn't (pause) I wasn't thinking about him.
Eryka: What were you thinking about?
(she is silence, they make eye contact, Eryka comes even near now they stand just some centimeters away from each other)
Eryka: You can say it. (whispering)
Elise: Eh, you?! I was thinking about you it's not particularly physical or anything it's just
(Eryka touches her cheek and Elise stops abruptly)
Eryka: It's not physical? Are you quite sure about that?
(she sounds like she is going to cry)
Elise: (replies with a kiss)
