don’t apologise for when you are sad, when you’re angry or otherwise upset. don’t apologise for crying no matter if it’s sad or happy tears. don’t apologise for getting confused and needing more clarification. don’t apologise for not liking or very much liking what majority likes. don’t apologise for wanting to go down a different career path than what’s expected of you. don’t apologise for not wanting kids. don’t apologise for not liking dogs or cats or bunnies. don’t apologise for planning everything out or just going with the flow. don’t apologise for not wanting to get married or just be in a relationship in general. don’t apologise if your dream is to have the biggest, fanciest wedding of all time.

don’t apologise for laughing out loud, for snoring up a storm, for “smelling bad” after a workout, for not knowing how to cook pasta, for not liking chocolate, for daydreaming a lot, for wearing high pigtails in your 40s, for getting lip filler or breast implants, for not shaving, for not drinking alcohol or not liking parties… don’t apologise for fighting anxiety or depression. don’t apologise for dealing with hallucinations or intrusive thoughts. don’t apologise for your sexuality or gender identity, for who and how you love. don’t apologise for the colour of your skin or the culture you have. don’t apologise for your belief system, be it religious or spiritual, or non-existent. don’t apologise for being fat or skinny or mega muscular. don’t apologise for needing a wheel chair. don’t apologise for having dyslexia, dyscalculia, dyspraxia, or dysgraphia.

don’t apologise for being who you are. cause it’s okay being you. it’s okay to live as you. of course, do your best to apologise when you hurt someone or if you’ve cause trouble somewhere like at home, at work. or in a friend group. educate yourself on different matters. keep growing as a person. but don’t apologise for being that very person, who’s still learning, realising and growing. ‘cause we all are.. nobody has reached the end station of know-it-all.
