A fun little draft I'm working on

So I saw someone do this for Thatch. And while I'd also LOVE to make an alternate version of Thatch for a lookup figure, I might honestly might make a separate character for a lookup figure concept as a whole to go with Bernice. I might make maybe Haruta or Izo (since in Bernice's canon info I'm working on, she does get along with them fairly well-) But yeah...For now, take the concept I made for Bernice! :D

Here's part two for the concept designs! Up next we have Kimchi! (Or seagull boy as most of the crew nicknamed him.) You would think with a group of adults, at least one of them would be the navigator? But actually, no. This little rascal is the crew's navigator. While most people have to use a log pose, surprisingly Kimchi has a strong intuition and can usually lead the crew where they need to be without using a compass or map. None of the crew ever could figure out how he was able to navigate the sea, but according to his own account, he had been on the sea for three years alone before they found him. And speaking of finding, that's actually a funny story. At the time that they found him, Kimchi was on a makeshift raft in the middle of the ocean. The only reason they had ever taken him aboard was due to the fact that he was trying to catch a seagull to eat- hence the nickname 'seagull boy'. At the time that they found him, Kimchi was 11. This boy is an absolute riot to be around. He takes his role as a pirate 'very' seriously and will refuse to spill the beans about anything...unless, you know, you bribe him with a snickerdoodle or cinnamon roll. (or any cinnamon sweets for that matter-) Most of the time, just to mess with Woton or Ahiru and Shiro, Kimchi will usually take their belongings and hide them under his 'wizard hat' just to cause trouble at times...yes, the giant safety cone he has on is a wizard hat to him, do not try to reason with the boy, lol. The two little plush he has in the front pocket of his outfit are gifts from both Lee and Willow. While he may not say it, they do mean the world to him. (But he can't let people go thinking he enjoys something from two icky girls, now can he?)

Upcoming art + New additional OP oc fun!

Hey, my peeps! So, I do want to really quick make up a small heads up for all of you. Long story short: what art I HAVE posted here hasn't actually scratched the surface of what I have to post still both here and on all of my other platforms (and because I'm going away from IG as a whole, I have tried branching out on different platforms in hopes of trying to find a way to make my content available to everyone.) Soo, my point being, I do apologize for the spam of art I've been putting out recently. I'm still working on the comic with Bernice and Thatch, but the problem is that between all of the posting, as well as the streaming schedule I'm trying to keep and the other things I do outside of art, I've had to kind of sacrifice my time for one thing over another, lol. At the very least, I'm glad I'm actually dedicating my time to do this now because I've gotten pretty tired of posting everything one different platforms and then forgot where I posted it all, lol. I do want to also give you guys a heads up: I Will be opening a Q n A for all of my OP ocs here pretty soon, but first I have to get all of the old stuff put out first. I will also be working on putting things out for commissions here pretty soon since I actually have a pause in my student loans and want to try and pay them off ASAP. So, the sooner I can get them out of the way, the more I can actually work on saving up and focusing on my other goals, lol. In other news: I've about finished the Thatch zine I found a few months ago. I've been reading on it hit and miss, but I've finally gotten to the last story. (Ngl, I didn't know zines were a things, but I think it'd be fun to do one for another character or a separate one for him. Especially since I also write outside of art :D) .....Yes, this is me openly admitting to anyone that was thinking about making one, you can recruit me XD Anyways, I came on here to give you all that bit of a heads up. Again today, there will probably be quite a bit more older art that I post up on here. The descriptions will actually be the same as they are on other platforms plainly and simply to save time. So if you follow me on them, I do apologize if you're re-reading something I typed, lol.

A Proper Introduction

This has been up for a while, so allow me to actually shorten this a bit now XD-

Hi! If you don't know me, please just address me as Ducky! Some of the things you'll quickly find out if you stick around on my little piece of the internet (I call it the duck pond-) is that I cosplay, do art (I went to college for animation, but I do tend to draw very slowly at times, lol-) and write. I also stream every Friday, or at least try to. I do have things that do get in the way of my regular posting schedules, so I do apologize if I go weeks on end without streaming or posting gameplay-

For the most part, I do tend to do a lot of art for One Piece. HOWEVER, there are certain fandoms that I will occasionally make art for... unless I'm just posting vent art of some kind. Which is rare, but I do every now and then. (Also, you will catch me making and posting art of my oc x cc shippings because...why not? FREE WILL EXISTS FOR A REASON, SHUSH-) Uhhh...other things to know for fun because why not? :D -I go by she/her -I'm 22, but VERY awkward with talking to everyone -I'm a Gemini! -INFJ with a 9w1 enneagram :3 -I am ALWAYS looking for peeps to do art/cosplay collabs with! So don't be afraid to reach out at anytime to ask to do one! ^v^ -The anxiety levels are over 9,000 (Hence the reason it might feel like I'm ignoring you or most people in general. I just have a hard time with talking to people, but I'm trying to work on it!) -HUGE card and coin collector. I mostly collect One Piece cards, but...have you seen Bisai's art for the different sets? (He does a lot of cool roles :3) -Top five One Piece Characters (In no real order): Thatch, Corazon, Heat, Killer, and Fukaboshi (The rest of Whitebeard's crew is right behind them, lol-) -Oddly enough, I've come to realize that most of my favorite characters over all of the anime and games I'm in are ENFJs, and I don't know how it keeps happening XD Uhhhh...Oh, right! Things to know about my ocs: -Regarding any of my ocs, you are ABSOLUTELY allowed to make fan art for them! I just ask that you tag me in it so that I can reblog it (You better believe I'm going to treat my page like a fridge, AND IT'S BIG ENOUGH TO DISPLAY ALL OF IT!) -All of my current ocs that have completed wikis are posted up on my Wattpad account, so you can go view all of the information on them there. But please do be warned, when I typed their info up in their original documents, a lot of them stretched to about 42 pages? Something like that? So do be warned that you'll be reading for a long while, lol. -My current oc x cc pairings are for One piece only atm. (I'm currently working out a Mouthwashing oc because that game has me in such a bad chokehold currently, it's not even funny XD) Those pairings are: Thatch and Bernice, Heat and Lee, and Rakuyo and Pandora (Tonta is also there, but he's Pandora's son, so...yeah-) -My ask box can be for any of my ocs, or even drawing suggestions. And with you peeps knowing me, I'm a HUIGE sucker when it comes to intricate details for character designing!! The lack of cosplays for Whitebeard's commanders is DISGUSTING. You can find Marco and Ace (which are givens-) but you can't find one for Rakuyo? Or even Haruta or Curiel? I feel like them being the simplest designs, they'd at least have SOMETHING, but no. You can't find ANYTHING .

The most disappointing part? THERE'S. NO. THATCH. No genderbend, no original, no blue shirt, NOTHING. (It's a shame, I just so happen to have a white button up and white bell bottoms, so I guess I'll be doing a genderbend version to make him a pinup girly because SOMEONE HAS TO FIX THIS, AND IM WILLING TO BE TRIBUTE TO DO SO-)

The fact that I have not been around for a couple of weeks, oof-

My apologies, though! I swear I am going to start getting more out in the next upcoming weeks! I know that a lot of you peeps over here aren't familiar with me and how holidays run for me and my family, so I'll just give you peeps a heads up that I will probably be a little inactive until the first of the year on all of my social media platforms!

Why? Simple: outside of the fact that I have a fairly tightly knit family and a lot of traditions that we usually continue every year, my family and I do like to actually make a lot of our Christmas gifts. It just beats going out and mindlessly buying things (at least that's why I try to put thought into what I wanna make everyone, lol-)

I will say that I plan to take and post all of my art to all of my social media platforms so I can start the new year with a clean slate of art. So there probably won't be anything new from my other social media accounts ^-^

Fear not, though! I actually have A LOT of art that I doodle on my breaks at work, and plan to digitalize ALL of it! As for the Bernice and Thatch comic, I actually do have the second part done. I have one more frame of line work, and then roughing in the background. But everything on it is set up to be put out! I will also be working a new schedule to make sure I put proper content out on time. So every month 'A Pawsible Problem' will get a new chapter, and every week I'll try to get a new art piece out. (Please hold me to this, I have a HORRIBLE memory and will forget this is what I want my new schedule for 2025 to be, lol)

Ok, This is- again, hopefully- part six. There is only one more part after this, and then I'm done, I swear! I know that I haven’t really made mention of him in everyone else's info so far, but up next is Dolion. Dolion is actually a very peculiar member of the crew. Being the swordsman, he actually is the only member of the crew with a higher position that physically went searching Lee’s crew out. I’ve also slacked on mentioning this, but a lot of the names on Lee’s crew have meanings. (I think the biggest thing people tend to overlook with Lee’s crew info is the fact that the crew’s name is the actual translation of Lee’s name. In other words, Lee’s name translates to ‘meadow’, hence the name ‘the Meadow Pirates’.) For Dolion, his name is a Greek translation of ‘liar’ or ‘to lie’. Because of his outfit, Dolion gave the crew a scare the first time they met. Because they met during a more foggy season, Kimchi, Lee, Ahiru, and Shiro all thought that he was the Grim Reaper. The poor things were scared straight for a good hour. His reasoning for why he demanded to join is complicated, actually. Wonton and Noko were both suspicious of him at first and believed that he had very similar goals of the World Government. They believed that he only wanted to travel with Lee until he could get intel about the One Piece and then he’d be splitting. However, he told them that his reasoning for joining was simply because he saw potential with the crew and wanted to give them proper backup since they were lacking any real muscle. His real reasoning was for two things. Firstly, he saw a lot of his younger self in Lee. Someone that was so quiet and wanted to do good for the world, yet was so quick to be stepped on. And secondly, because she reminded him a lot of his older sister as well in the way she could influence people to completely diffuse their quarrels. Because of things in his own life that led to him losing his sister, he saw joining Lee’s crew as a way to repay his sister’s kindness back. At the time of joining her crew, Dolian was 52.

I'm saying it right now. SANJI'S SKYPIEA AND EGGHEAD ISLAND FITS ARE SEVERELY UNDERRATED (The dude looks good in bright colors, lol-)
