just wanted to make some cute art while on break. I been wanting to draw my character more in her wedding dress because it's adorable. This is also a bit of an update I suppose because I changed the dress from white to blue because in Irish wedding traditions the dress is usually blue. I thought that was cool and wanted to do it. I added Edmund in an orange suit for the sake of a silly "Dumb and Dumber" reference. Either way, it's cute regardless and I'm just happy that I finally updated the bouquet for Debora. The flower set up is so much cuter than just 3 stargazer lilies. Anyway, I hope you all like it as much as I do :3.

Zekina Week 2023: Day 1 Dystopia

Woo first day of Zekina week! Here's 16 year old Zeke and Tina fighting off zombies in the apocalypse. The reason Tina has a water gun instead of a real gun is because it's filled with salt water and it's funny. @mambocat I don’t know if you’ll care about my opinion or not but here it goes. When I was younger I used to not like the idea of Sonic with humans. Mostly because of my exposure to the story of Sonic X. I hated Chris like the majority of the fandom. I guess when I finally was able to play the adventure games I associated the humans with Chris and not like them automatically. As I got older I started to realize, ”Wait, Dr. Eggman is a human so why shouldn't there be others?” I’m fine with humans being with Sonic now because that’s how it always was intended. We just don’t see humans as much in other games because humans have their own countries while Mobians have their’s. I like to think the Sonic and human relationship is like the humans and Crystal gems on Steven Universe. They know he exists but they don’t bother asking questions except for a select few. It’s been awhile since I played a Sonic game with humans so i don’t know how much my headcanon holds.

So Sonic shouldn’t be getting any crap from people just because he’s different. That’s what it all comes down to.

So I need to just take a moment to poop on everyone’s party…I just watched the trailer for “Super Mario Odyssey,” and while it does indeed look very interesting, I can’t help but feel salty over the double standard being utilized here.

So the trailer starts with what appears to be New York or some other large REAL WORLD city, with actual humans - as in realistic ones - walking around minding their own business, and then SUDDENLY here comes Mario with his signature whoo hoo to turn everything into fodder for his cartoon physics.

Now that in and of itself is not a bad thing, no problem with the premise itself. My issue is…fairly simple to understand and may even come off as petty but I’ll risk it regardless.

If everyone is excited about Mario being in the real world…

WHY IN GOD’S NAME WAS IT CONSIDERED A HORRIBLE IDEA FOR SONIC AND STILL IS TO THIS DAY?!

As soon as Mario does it, all that talk about “oh Sonic is a cartoon hedgehog and he doesn’t belong in a realistic universe” goes out the window. You can’t praise Mario for doing it and then say Sonic doesn’t belong when they’re both video game characters who are clearly “out of place” in the world they’re in.

The only difference I can foresee happening here is that Mario won’t have much of a “story” as usual despite the name “odyssey” and Mario of course won’t talk.

And if that does turn out to be the key difference, then Sonic being in the real world was never the problem as so many people claim. The issue was the story itself. How dare someone take a silent protagonist and try to give him a personality?

SEGA tried everything to “backpedal” from the hyper realistic art style, making the humans more cartoony as opposed to actually looking like real life humans. But it didn’t matter, Sonic was still in the “real” world and thus it was bad.

Only when humans (sans Eggman) were cut out altogether were so-called fans happy with the world Sonic lived in again. Where all the humans? Who cares, Sonic shouldn’t be with humans anyway.

But apparently this is okay, because it’s Mario instead of Sonic. Real humans? Yeah that’s okay! It’s about time Mario ventured past the Mushroom Kingdom a little bit!

I call BS, hard.

Since Mario did what he did, then I don’t wanna hear one godforsaken complaint from ANYONE if Project 2017 decides to go back to using human background characters.

I’ve gotten into debates with gamer friends of mine who say that Sonic in the real world (Earth) actively angers them. I should ask them how they feel about Mario and see if they expose their own hypocrisy.

I’m sorry if this angers anyone who thinks I’m complaining too early, but again, it’s not what Mario did that bothers me, it’s that people will inevitably complain if/when Sonic decides to do the EXACT SAME THING while Mario gets praise for it.

That’s why I say I don’t wanna see anyone get angry with Sonic in the real world…but we all know they will. Because it’s Sonic.

Poor guy, he’s doomed to be hated for all of eternity.

I finally bit the bullet and did “Katsuki and Ochako test out if they can reenact a supernova” art inspired by this comic.

It's based on an aspect of an image of the big bang theory I saw on Wikipedia. Katsuki would be that egotistical to compare his and Ochako's combined power to the theoretical creation of the universe so it works. Lol I wanted their team name to not only represent their power but also the hope they provided for others because that’s what Ochako would want. They represent the remaining light of hope after a big explosion. However, Team Afterglow is just the shorten version of their actual team name. Since this is Katsuki, of course the team name is longer than that. The full team title for my headcanon is "Ultra Hypersonic Cosmic Afterglow" I hope you enjoy this image as much as I did making it! Zekina Week 2023: Day 2 School

Why yes, I did choose not to give them a bottom half. No, I'm not sorry for it! XD Zeke is giving a quick glance at Tina daydreaming before going back to his schoolwork. Tina is a very creative person with a deep, rich, inner world, but sometimes she just wants to picture clouds as butts. XD

Is It the Next Last Day on Earth Already?

Hooray, I finished this before the next episode came out! This is pretty self-explanatory. I just wanted to make a cute pic of Tina kissing Zeke. Make whatever backstory you want for this moment. XD

Just Another Cute Zekina Headcanon:

So I've been trying to mark off all the episodes that Zeke sits to the left of Tina in class ever since I really started noticing it in season 13. First I'll list what I found so far and then I'll get into the headcanon surrounding it. Disclaimer, I'm only human and I'm not aware of all the episodes that show Zeke and Tina in class together. I'm just only going by the BB wiki that lists the times Zeke appeared in a season and my own memory of whether the episode contained a classroom scene or not. In short, this post might get edited as time goes on if I find new frames by accident I can add.

So now onto screenshots. I'm not going to bother with chronological order because I don't want to. The most interesting one I found so far is "Pig Trouble in Little Tina". Before Tina enters into her nightmare we see Zeke to her left. After she wakes up from her nightmare, Zeke is gone.

What the heck is that all about? Why insert Zeke in only to make him disappear? My side headcanon is that Zeke went to the bathroom (or skipped class, either is possible) while Tina was sleeping because if Zeke was there he would have been the only one to ask if she was alright. They needed the scene to move along asap so they had to get rid of him because of it. XD

The next one isn't in Miss Jacobson's class but still shows the Zeke being to Tina's left pattern.

In "Bob and Deliver" their placement is obvious because it is to show that Tina will see Zeke as a rival in the episode. Also, it's simply easier for the audience to follow along with the conversation if they are next to each other. Next is "The Hormone-iums". The placement of Jimmy Jr., Tina, and Zeke is also for plot reasons. For some reason, Zeke isn't in the last one of the row like he usually is while Jimmy Jr. isn't in front of Zeke. The boys needed to be in those places though to show Tina's nervousness when she watches Tammy slanders her.

Still, even if the chair arrangements have changed, Zeke is still to Tina's left. Now for "Crystal Mess". While the placements of the characters are for plot relevance, it's also the closest to sticking with the current sitting arrangements of the characters. The outlier is Tammy since Jocelyn is more often than not in front of Tina from the other frames I found.

Now that I got all the scenes out of the way (as far as I know because there are a lot of episodes with Zeke in them), I can get to the point of this post. Since to Tina's left is the window, I headcanon that Tina daydreams and looks out of that window a lot. Even if Miss Jacobson is the one that assigns the seats for the students and it's not up to the students, I headcanon that Zeke specifically wants to be to Tina's left over her right because of the window. Anytime Zeke glances over at Tina for a second while she's daydreaming directly at the window, he likes to pretend for a moment that Tina is looking at him. He knows the window is getting all of Tina's attention, but it's still a nice thought that keeps him going for the rest of the time in Miss Jacobson's class. That's it for the headcanon. It's not much, but it's cute and I like it. X3
