I’m going to be creating front & back views of character designs for what I’ve decided to call this “AU”, Dusttale: Revived.
In these blogs, I’ll show the design concept for a character along with a brief description of their role in the story.
As I stated before, this story is gonna focus more on the NPCs (at least in the first half). So most of these design concepts are gonna be side/background characters from the game (there are gonna be main/boss characters in the story as well).
Now onto the first 2 character designs:
Dr. Robert “Bob” Temmer:
Dr. Temmer is a scientist that works alongside Dr. Serif on testing & experimenting with the revised DT injections & their side effects.
He usually wears a tired & annoyed expression when out in public, but does get a hint of smile when his wife visits him at lunch.
He doesn’t fully agree with Dr. Serif’s way doing things, but doesn’t exactly have a lot of authority or power to fight back. So he just mumbles his complaints & avoids causing trouble.
Mrs. Temantha “Temmie” Temmer:
Temantha, or just Temmie, is the lovely wife & #1 supporter of Dr. Temmer.
They both use to live back in Waterfall in Temmie Village, but after an incident, they moved into the MTT Hotel (which was renovated to act as housing for the remaining survivors).
While many find her annoying & a bit too lovey-dovey with her husband, Temmie is able to make the most sour individual wear the biggest smile.
These are just the basic designs for now. I’ll most likely be creating more detailed character sheets for characters, but I just want to get a basic design concept & backstory done first.
I want to try doing those verbal scenarios with my OC(s) listed below:
(I still don’t have names for them yet, so we’ll just refer to them by the nick names on their pictures)

I’m gonna be doing both Swapfell and Fellswap since I really like both of them.
Swapfell Neue’s name is “Miriam”.
Here is the rough draft:
She is based off a Pygmy Goat, which means she’s really short. She’s actually the shortest of the AU Neues.
*Note: The names might change in the future*
Here is an updated Height chart for the AU Neues.
It was interesting to see the colored versions next to each other. I found the size differences to be funny, especially with the tallest one (Crimson) being in the same picture with the shortest one (Miriam).
So I’m working on the final body lineart of each variant, mainly figure out their body types and totally not procrastinating on drawing their clothes cause I suck at drawing clothes.
Anyway, while I do have some ideas regarding clothing, I’m still having some trouble for most of them.
Basically as the title states, what kind of clothing should Neue and AU variants wear?
Mafiatale Neue’s name is “Bernard”.
Here is the rough draft:
He’s based off a Sarda Goat.
He’s only an inch taller than Neue, and his hair is in a partial ponytail, he also has a few chipped teeth.
*Random Question: Is it Mafiatale or Mobtale?*
For context, I’m referring to the Fellswap Gold AU.
Fellswap Neue’s name is “Avenir”.
Here is the rough draft:
He’s based off the Valais Blackneck Goat.
He’s taller and a bit lankier than Neue, however the horns he has are fake. His situation is a bit similar to Roman (Underfell Neue).
Just a little to mid effort drawing of Neue & Sans.
Idk why I made this, but it made me laugh.
Here is the rough draft of one of the alternate personalities for my OC. She is dog demon, specifically a Pomeranian.
This is personality has a punk like demeanor, and is considered to be the “party animal” of the personalities. She’s very social and knows how to leave an impression (not always a great one though). The various clubs and bars are her comfort zones.
She always wanted to be in a band, being rather talented with drums and bass guitar, and her singing isn’t bad either; not good but not bad. She can be rather reckless and ignorant towards most, getting herself into a few scuffles.
I decided to lower the number of personalities to 5, and still thinking of names.
