I’m Working On A Fictional Continent That Would Take Place On Our Earth.

I finally watched and finished the 1st season of Hazbin Hotel, and I absolutely fell in love with this show, the characters, the art style, the story, the music.

Now I want to try and create my own original character for this show. I have some ideas that I want to do, but I want to get more insights and suggestions for what I should do with this character.

Here are the basics so far:

-They were a human that sinned and went to Hell after death (obviously).

-They resemble a dog, still deciding on breed.

-They had Dissociative Identity Disorder during their life. (I want to try and draw characters with mental disorders/illness, so this is where I’ll need the most insight on to make I’m representing them properly).

-The alternate personalities came down to Hell with the character and are attached (mental & physically) to the character.

-Each personality would be a different dog breed.

-The personalities can make themselves visible to others without taking control, but it takes a lot of energy to do so.

-In their full demon, they resemble a huge 5-headed dog demon with varied horns on each head, 4 front legs (arms), 4 back legs, and 5 tails. Each head, tails, and certain limbs portray one of the personalities.

-I’m still coming up with a backstory, powers, and if they should work at the hotel or just occasionally visits.

The problem child this time was Nova, just couldn’t get any good ideas regarding clothes, I figured warm puffy clothes could work since space is cold.

Bernard & Carter were a bit easier since I just based their clothing off mafia attire. I was debating on drawing Carter in a flapper-like dress, but it just would match her personality.

Update & Upcoming Artwork

Sorry I haven’t posted anything Undertale related for a month, I was taking a break then got super into another fandom so started to work on art for that, then I took another break and then I got sick for almost 2 weeks.

So for a long story short: I basically took a long break to rethink some things.

I think I got a bit overwhelmed with the amount of characters/AU variations that I ended up burning out.

But now, I’m gonna start on a project revolving around Neue AU Variants based on the Star Sanses and Bad Sanses. This will include the following:

-Eras (“Son”/Student of Dream)

-Lucida (“Daughter”/Student of Nightmare)

-Merriweather (Daughter of Underswap Sans)

-Crimson (Son of Horrortale Sans)

-Gisha (Child of Cross Sans)

-Vani (Daughter of Dust Sans)

-Sabon (Son of Killer Sans)

-Canvas (Student of Ink Sans)

Along with a few more.

Obviously for a few of these I haven’t completed their rough drafts yet, but for the ones I did, I’ll be redrawing/redesigning their appearances.

Ideas/Concepts for Dusttale: Reanimated

As I stated in a previous post, I’m gonna be doing a my sort of own spin on Dusttale on the side.

I’m first gonna start in character profile & information in regards to the story, as well as building their character. While the main characters from Undertale are relevant to this story, it’s actually gonna focus more on the NPCs, plus my OC Vani.

I’m planning on doing a character info & status sheet (like something found in infection AUs) along with a picture of how they’ll look. I’ll be doing the same to the reanimated monsters, or as I’ve been calling them “the Revived”.

If anyone has any better name suggestions for the AU or for the classification of the characters.

Another Update

So…

Sorry I haven’t posted anything for about a month.

I was taking a small break and THEN…

I got sick for 2 weeks!

But I’m feeling better and I’m working on Mati’s impersonation of Stanley, which I’m excited for since Stanley is one of my favorites.

I’m almost done with the lineart, the coloring won’t take that long.

After I’m done with Stanley, which character should I Mati-fy next? I’m thinking Gideon or Mati’s best interpretation of Bill.
