Do you think tsukasa would have been self-destructive even if he had had a normal life? (without evil entities or supernatural sacrifices)
Probably not. Everything that is happening now is the result of Amane's efforts to save Tsukasa from the entity. If the entity doesn't exist, Amane would die from the disease (probably, considering that it's not the entity that's making him sick).
If he survived the disease, they would live peacefully, but I still believe that Tsukasa would feel rejected, because of Hanako's natural behavior, but Tsukasa would have no reason to leave.
He had gone to save Amane, but if Amane never got sick, then it would just be a matter of relationship.
We don't know if Tsukasa is really cruel at times because it's part of his nature or if it's because of the entity, so we'll have that doubt.
But if Amane died, I would have serious doubts about what Tsukasa would do⦠although I have a hunch.
I was going to write an all-caps post begging you to watch this series, but I feel like it wouldnāt give it any justice, so um, hereās a fucking essay on why you should watch this.
Fandoms react to is a popular "genre" in the Gacha fandom where people make characters from fandoms "react" to edits or scenes of a characterās story. It is very popular in the Gacha fandom.
But this series takes a turn and makes the characters wonder why the fuck they are in a room with a bunch of people watching videos of their personal lives and how the hell theyāre going to get outāsomething that is ignored in EVERY SINGLE GACHA REACT EVER.
The world-building in this series is amazing, and the genuine amount of work put into this just makes it better. Not to mention both the characters and the design for them are incredibly accurate and are just fun to watch as the characters interact with one another in the terrifying situation theyāve been forced into.
And to put it frank, that is really all I can tell you because saying anything else will ruin the experience of really watching this ongoing series for yourself.
And if youāre still having second thoughts on if this is really as good as I said it was, please remember that I wrote an entire essay just to convince people to watch it. So yea, it's that good.
Moomins and their Snufkins - part 2 [part 1]
skk showing up to a fight only to be completely unserious & just watch sskk fight while critiquing them just feels so canon, skk take nothing seriously š
And not Chuuya saying they donāt have enough *attitude* STOP š skk said sass levels arenāt high enough

wait this one got me
spiraling about the framing here⦠the way tsukasa is specifically positioned with these two marks so visibly on display, one so temporary itās drawn like itās already fading deeming him guilty and the other so solid and near-permanent deeming him the most important and beloved thing in hanakoās life⦠the way the guilty mark is on his hand marking what he does (if we take hands to represent actions) as making him guilty but the mark of love, which as we know from sumire could be anywhere on his body, is right on tsukasaās face... the way love is so much stronger than guilt and blame
it reminds me so much of:
I know we donāt have confirmation that heās talking about tsukasa here, but even if itās just thematically, the faded guilty stamp and the permanent yorishiro seal are so reminiscent of amane defending this person unrelentingly, never budging, and paying little to no mind to tsuchigomoriās condemnations of this personās actions. the faded stamp and bold seal contrasting so heavily to say āactions are so fleeting and always changing but love is unwavering.ā amane protects this person despite what theyāve done to him. amane kills tsukasa and tsukasa comes back marked as the pinnacle of hanakoās love. actions and guilt and blame are so complicated in tbhk, but love always endures. and itās all shown so succinctly in this one image of tsukasa this chapter
