Backstory- you were 14, you were NOT ready to have a child. But however your ex boyfriend was a pushy little fucker and insisted that you went all the way with him. He left when he figured out that you were pregnant, leaving you alone with a child, inexperienced. You lived in Tulsa. But you never knew the gang. You are now 17 with your 4 year old daughter, ally. She is beautiful, she looks nothing like her father, she looks just like you, she has the most beautiful eyes and the sweetest smile that will make her a total heartthrob when she hits puberty. What can I say. She takes after you.

You met Two-bit years ago. When you were in elementary school. You were best friends, he was like a brother to you. Until you had to move away.

When you moved back to Tulsa, you saw him again. You were at the nightly double watching a movie, feeding your daughter popcorn until you saw a familiar face.

Two was sitting next to you. You looked over and didn’t think anything of it. Throughout the movie, he asked you if you had a lighter.

“No. Sorry.”

He smiled at you. That smile. There was something about it.

“Ah. Don’t worry about it. I’m two-bit.” He said with his hand out.

You paused. And looked at him once again.

“…Keith?”

“Um..yeah. That’s my name. How’d you know?”

“Oh uh..I’m y/n..” you said a little quietly.

His eyes widened and he gasped.

“Oh my god! Y/n?! Like.. Y/n L/n?!” He said feeling your face.

He was still as goofy as ever.

“Yep.” You said smiling.

You introduced him to Ally

“Hii! Are you the boy my mom told me about?” She hugged him.

“I sure hope so.” He said, hugging her back.

You and Two talked all night. He was funny, just like you. He was like you in all the ways.

He took you back to meet the gang. Two-bit loves your daughter, he has a little sister so he’s very good with kids, he’s a big kid at heart himself.

The last person you met was Dallas. Boy was he cute. He walked into the door and saw you. His heart stopped for a moment. He snapped out of his trance.

“Hey. Who’s the girl?” He asked Two.

“Oh. This is y/n. The childhood friend I told you guys about? She’s very pretty ain’t she?”

You smiled at his compliment. Dallas looked at you and smiled.

“Yeah. Very pretty.” You could feel yourself blushing.

“This is Dallas, we call him dally sometimes.” Two introduced you to Dallas.

“Nice to meet you.” You said, sticking out your hand, which he shakes.

“This is her daughter, Ally.”

“Daughter?” He asked in shock.

You knew this would happen. You can’t ever make friends being a single mom, can you?

“Yeah..” you said lowly, not really proud of it. But you love your daughter.

“Hi!” She waved at dally.

Dallas hated kids. But she was just so cute and sweet. He couldn’t help but smile.

“Hi, doll.” She giggled at him and hugged his leg.

“I like your hair, mister!” He did have very nice hair.

“Uhh..thank you, I like yours.” She smiled at him.

Two was kinda in shock at Dallas being so kind to a child. Or at least trying to be.

“Sorry.” You say, picking her up, which she whines at you.

“Heyyy.. I was having a conversation, mommy!”

“I know honey but we need to leave the nice boy alone. Okay?”

She pouts at you and leans her head of your shoulder.

“Ok..” she sniffles.

Dallas just smiled at her.

“I have to go back to Buck’s. He needs me to help him move some furniture around.” Dallas waved bye to everybody and walked out the door.

“Do you live around here?” Two asked you, kindly.

You frowned and shook your head. “I don’t have a home right now. I’m trying to find somewhere cheap.”

Darry stepped in. “Well you can stay with us as long as you need.” He smiled.

You shook your head. “No it’s fine, really. I don’t want to be a burden.” You laughed.

He smiled and continued. “Hey. Any friend of Two is a friend of ours. You’re welcome here anytime you want.”

You agreed and brought your bags inside.

“Thanks Darry, I really appreciate it.”

“No problem.”

You got along with Ponyboy and Johnny very well.

Sodapop was a total sweetheart to you the whole time.

You were were happy that you finally found where you felt that you were meant to be.

Dating you was like talking to a brick wall sometimes.

But other than that, he didn't care.

He loved you so much, he felt as if your smile could shoot him to the ground.

He always put you first- in very very odd ways. But he means well.

"Y/n, please don't play that song." He said as the song ended as you scrolled through your music options, already knowing which song you were gonna play.

You were right, he did like this song but of course he wasn't gonna say it to your face.

He loved the thought of you two having a "song", but then again, he would rather look at his kindergarten yearbook pictures than tell you.

"I do not." He protested as he leaned his hand on the steering wheel, his other arm on the middle console.

You frowned, his words hurt because you thought it was your song. You loved it and you thought he did too.

"Oh." You said, leaning back in your seat as he stopped at a red light.

He couldn't sleep so he picked you up to go for a drive- which is what you were doing, not really having a location to stop at.

You clicked on a different song, looking out the window at all the lights that shined brightly at one another.

Dallas sighed as he looked at your miserable face, wanting you to have a good time.

He hated when you made that face.

Your thoughts were cut off by a familiar tune, following with very familiar lyrics, making you look over at him.

Dallas looked at you with sorry eyes, before looking back at the road.

Dallas x Single mom! Reader (part 5)

You and Ally sat on the couch and watched Mickey Mouse with Two-bit.

Dallas was at Buck’s doing only god knows what.

Ally turned to you and tapped your leg.

“Where’s dal dal?..” she asked, obviously sad about him not being here with her.

You didn’t know exactly what to tell her.

“Uhm…he’s at home.” You said

She huffed and crossed her arms, visibly upset.

You thought of an idea.

“Hey. We don’t need stinky boys to have fun. Girls rule boys drool, remember? Besides, boys have cooties.”

She laughed at your comment.

“Dally doesn’t stink.” She said, trying to catch her breath.

“Of course he doesn’t. He smells good- but that’s besides the point.” You said, catching yourself.

You paused.

“Come here.” You said as you started pulling her to the bathroom with your makeup bag.

You got her into a cute outfit, as well as yourself.

“What’s this for? We aren’t going anywhere.”

You opened your makeup bag and pulled out the main things.

“We’re playing dress up. Just having fun.” You said as you put blush on her cheeks.

You did her lashes and lips and her hair before pushing her out and doing your makeup.

“Mommy! I wanna seeee! Hurry up!”

You finished up your makeup and fixed your outfit which was a plaid short skirt and a black mini shirt.

You walked out of the bathroom.

“Wow! You look like a princess!” Your daughter exclaimed.

You hugged her before you heard the front door open.

It was Dallas.

“Boy you is always over here.” You said sassily, as a joke of course.

He tried to say something smart back but paused when he saw you.

“U-uh. Yeah. We all friends. So yeah.”

He smiled at her.

“What about mommy?” She questioned, pointing to you.

She jumped up and down.

“Oh. You didn’t have to, she already has too many of thos-“ you cut yourself off when you saw how happy it made her.

She looked at you and held up the bear.

“It has a heart on it, mommy!”

You smiled.

“What are you gonna name him- or her?” You asked, correcting yourself.

She thought for a minute.

“I’m gonna name him…Texas.” She smiled, her proudness showing more as she spoke.

You liked it.

“Why Texas?” You asked.

“Because. His name is Dallas and he gave it to me so I’m naming my bear Texas.” She said, pointing at Dallas, smiling at her bear.

“Aw, that’s sweet.” You said, smiling at her.

Later on, Two-bit and the others had to go home.

Dallas wouldn’t let anybody get him out the house.

“Darryyy! Please let me stayyy!” He begged

“No Dallas. I have work tomorrow and you tend to be cranky when I wake you up in the morning to get you home when I wake up.”

Ally walked up to Darry and hugged his leg.

“Please?” She said, giving her best puppy eyes.

Darry soon gave up.

“Whatever.”

She jumped up and down in happiness.

“Hey dally look under there!” She screamed

He looked around but couldn’t tell where she was pointing.

“Under where?”

She broke out in a fit of giggles.

“Haha-you- you said underwear!!” She said, laughing her ass off.

He looked at her with the most unbothered expression.

But he couldn’t help but smile.

“Girl bye.”

She hugged his arm.

“I love you Dal Dal.”

This made him really happy.

“Aw. I love you too.”

You saw them have their little moment.

You couldn’t help but smile at them.

The thing is, you really like Dallas.

Like, REALLY like him.

But you can’t tell if he feels the way you do.

He was so kind to Ally. He treated her as if she was his own.

And Ally loves him.

And so do you.

As if on que, ally tapped your shoulder, getting your attention.

She looked at you seriously.

“Do you like Dallas? Be honest.” You could see hope in her eyes.

You didn’t know if you should tell her or not.

She smiled and ran away giggling.

You heard whispers from the other side of the room.

A few minutes later you saw Dallas get up and signaled to the front door.

He was shaking.

If he fucked this up, he would lose two of the most important people in his life.

You were stuck in your spot.

You couldn’t move, talk, or even blink.

You heard a scream from the window.

“can you bring him tomorrow?” Ponyboy aksed, wanting to meet your “puppy”.

You hesitated.

“I mean, you guys. I don’t think that’s a real good idea.” You said, not knowing how your dog will react around new people, especially boys.

They all pleaded and you hesitantly agreed.

So the next day you got his chain, and everything you needed for him and yourself and walked to the Curtis house.

When you got there, you knocked on the screen door before opening it, holding Zeus behind you.

“I got ‘em. But y’all stay back. He gets riled up around new people. And y’all are boys so I don’t know how that’s gonna work.” You said, trying to keep Zeus under control, since he was excited.

“All right. You can let him in.” Darry said, reading the newspaper.

You opened the door all the way, Zeus pulling you slightly, but you managed to keep him at your side.

Dallas’. jaw. Dropped.

I’m sayin this man will literally drop everything when he sees a dog.

He loves them.

And honestly everyone expected it to be a small puppy.

“Wow!” Ponyboy yelled loudly, alerting the dog.

The dog whipped around and growled and snapped at Ponyboy, his sharp teeth showing.

Ponyboy went pale.

“Hey! No! Do not do that!” You said, correcting your dog.

You sat on the couch next to Dallas.

Dallas scooted far away for you to have a lot of room.

You pulled at his leash gently.

“Zeus, sit.” You said, Zeus kneeled by your side immediately.

“Come here, pony.” You said, waving him to where you were sat.

The dog growled as he got closer, thinking he was gonna harm you.

Ponyboy sat next to you, nervously.

You scooted closer to pony, wrapping your arm around his shoulder.

The dog immediately stopped growling, his tail wagging a little as he realized this was a safe place.

He slowly started getting up.

He hesitantly walked around the room, sniffing people.

When he got to Dallas, he sniffed him, waiting a bit then licked his hand before pulling away.

When you and Dallas were dating.

He didn’t have to worry about you walking alone in the streets.

And I know what everyone is thinking.

“If you’re with Dallas, you shouldn’t have to worry about walking alone at night. Nobody is gonna mess with you if you’re with him.”

Wrong.

When you brought out the dog, non of the Soc boys bothered you.

Though, Dallas and your Dog were very competitive over you.

If you screamed because you saw a spider.

Dallas and Zeus would look at each other and race to you to see who gets there first.

Zeus liked Dallas so you didn’t have to worry about that.

Dallas would play with your dog while you were in the shower, he would walk him, even though he don’t see how you can hold him without getting dragged but he can’t when you’re walking him.

Zeus almost dragged Dallas one time.

But he got the hang of it.

And Zeus WILL protect BOTH of you.

Like at a rumble, you have to hold him so he won’t run to help Dallas.

Zeus sits there whining as the fight breaks out.

When the rumble is done, he will run to him, licking his face.

When you go to the drive in and someone else gets upset because you were blocking the movie trying to find a place to sit.

The dog turns around and snaps.

Zeus loves babies.

But when you are walking and the neighborhood dogs are outside you have to keep him away from the kids.

There was a time where you were waking and the neighborhood dogs started barking and one got loose and ran at you.

Zeus put his nose to a child that was playing, pushing her away so she wouldn’t get hurt.

And then attended to you quickly.

There were numerous times where you got out of the shower and found both of them cuddled up, asleep.

It was definitely a sweet sight.

You also most definitely have pictures.

You and Dallas play around with the dog.

Like you look at the dog and then you and Dallas peck each other on the lips, making the dog grows slightly.

And every time you two hug, Zeus jumps up and tries to get in as well.

Every time Dallas leaves to go see the gang, he kneels down and hugs Zeus, telling him to take care of you for him.

It’s so cute.

Sometimes when you and Dallas are in a fight, the dog starts barking loudly, growling at Dallas as if telling him not to get loud with you.

But there are times where Zeus is scared when Dallas screams at you and gets closer to you as he screams.

Like in his mind, he thinks he’s gonna hit you so he lays in front of your feet, whimpering and looking at Dallas.

This hurts Dallas a lot because he would NEVER hit a woman.

Especially you.

He’s a man of many things.

But he is no woman beater.

After a fight, Zeus usually pushes Dallas towards you. Almost like telling him to hug you.

And he does.

He apologizes every time.

And it’s always sincere.

No matter what it was about.

Dallas gets really upset when he accidentally steps on his paws.

I know we’ve all done that before.

“Aw! I’m so sorry!”

If anything happened to Zeus, Dallas would break down.

It’s like losing another part of himself.

And same for you.

If he lost you he swears he wouldn’t be able to love ever again.

It breaks his heart when you cry.

Especially if he’s the one that caused it.

I feel like if you’ve had an abusive relationship before, Dallas don’t play that shit.

It doesn’t matter to him how long ago it was, he will find the dude that did it to you and beat the living shit out of him.

And if you did have an abusive relationship, that was way before you got Zeus because he don’t play that shit either.

He would shut it down real quick.

Like, if you flinch during a fight.

Dallas is gonna break down crying.

Obviously he’s not gonna cry in front of you.

Because he shouldn’t be the one crying. Because he’s the one that scared you.

He’s gonna go home and THEN cry.

I’m not saying that he hasn’t cried in front of you.

He definitely has.

I feel like he’s one of those people that cry when they get really mad. (Me. 🙄🤚”

Zeus will lay by his side and lick his tears away.

…the other night I had a dream about the elf on the shelf. I never had a problem with them until I had this dream I swear to everything that the first thing I did when I woke up was find my mom and say. 😭
