2023 is starting out as a good year for art

Drew this in three hours! That’s a new personal best!

things I learned while drawing this:

Don’t be afraid of losing the base color to the rendering

just because the layer opacity percent isn’t a multiple of five doesn’t mean it isn’t right

make sure you check over every aspect of everything before moving onto the next stage so that you don’t end up making the face the wrong shape and not notice it until we’ll into the rendering!

Oop now she has a face

I have decided that no, she does not shave.

Yes, she is hairy.

Yes, she is 6’2”.

No, she will not go out into the sun unless it’s necessary.

Yes, she is protective of her partner.

Yes, she will pound you into the ground if you so much as look at said partner the wrong way.

You ever get that feeling when you wake up in the middle of the night with the sudden urge to create a new oc?

Got to play with water, scales, metal, anatomy, and smaller lines with this one!

got lazy when it came time to do the wall, so it’s literally just a warped png of a real stone wall

also this guy started out as just a “why not?” sketch, but has turned into a full on oc complete with a world and other characters over night

It's been a while since I painted ghost king Danny. I went with the aurora borealis crown this time. Also more animation experimentation with 2d and 3d stuff.
