Crunchyroll to Recast Mob Psycho 100 III for Simuldub

Voice actor Kyle McCarley revealed in a video on Tuesday that he may not return as the anime's protagonist

Bad news for tumblr’s favorite sexyman show. After being requested to explore a SAG-AFTRA contract by the show’s lead actor Kyle McCarley, Crunchyroll/Funimation is recasting the series with non-union labor. The request coincides with Crunchyroll moving all of their production work to their studio in Texas, which is a non-union state. 

McCarley even stated he was open to working with a non-union contract if Crunchy would take up his request, but Crunchy decided peace was never an option.

This cannot be interpreted as anything other than a clear anti-union sentiment by a large company (Sony) worth billions of dollars.

mid 20s young man with no discernible skills other than talking good who can barely drive joins with a prodigy psychic and through fun wacky events solves crimes and changes various villainlike people to be good. gets canceled for a bit but ends up fine in the end. is supposed to take care of the psychic to an extent but they end up saving his ass at least once. he's gay with one of the redeemed bad guys who joins him as a colleague after his redemption. said former bad guy is Way more qualified for the job than he is.
