why do people feel the need to debate others identity? I am an animal, end of story.
I noticed your profile picture is beach bear So Cool.. 😇🪽 it's cool to see another someone in the other kin community that's a rock afire fan (or someone who atleast likes the characters! ❤️🪽)
(i'm a little shy to send any asks but i need to get over my fear eventually So I'm sorry if this is random or worded a little weirdly ! 😢🪽 )
Oh don’t be shy! I used to be really obsessed with rockafire and animatronics in general, so beach bear has stuck as my pfp :]
You cannot spend your whole life attempting to appeal to people who dislike you. You do not need to make your identity palatable for those who refuse to understand.
There is nothing wrong with believing you are actually an animal. If others say you are crazy or delusional for that, then so be it. Their opinions do not matter.
Just because they want to contort themselves to fit into the ideals of anti-kin doesn't mean the rest of us have to.
And if you think I'm crazy for believing I am "actually" a coyote? Take it up with someone who gives a shit.
Interesting! I think that’s similar to how I am. Outwardly people see a human form, but in reality I am (sometimes) an anthropomorphized snake. I have the ability to shift around between fully snake to something more anthro.
hello!! I was curious: how do you personally define werebat? I love hearing different creature’s descriptions of themselves!
Hello! For me, being a werebat is essentially like being a werewolf. However I don't have a "human" form so to speak. My human form is the outward appearance that eyes perceive. However I am still a werebat, to myself and to those who know me.
As for a descriptor, I would say imagine a fursuit of a bat. My wings are usually in one of two states; they are attached to the underside of my arms, allowing me to have paws, or they are my arms themselves. The first example with the paws being like this image here.
(Image source is in the source part of the post!)
it’s so wonderful that you have people who support you!! I’m really happy to hear about people who are able to live more openly as nonhuman!
It really sucks that your ex didn’t support you though :(
Creatures who have told their IRLs your nonhuman identity: how did it go? I’m currently considering telling my partner, but I’m just curious about other’s experiences!
(We have a really good relationship and I’ve already explained that I’m more of a snake than a human, but I want to tell her more about the alterhuman community in general.)
I totally get this. I do feel a bit bad for those who don’t have the form they’re supposed to. I can relate on some level to them since no one can see my true form, but I don’t wish for my scales or fangs or anything else in the same way those who aren’t physically nonhuman do.
I feel the tiniest bad when I read posts saying that others wish they had tails and ears and fur and fangs- I suppose it is because since I am physically nonhuman, I do, it's just not something that can be seen outwardly by prying eyes- that is besides my fangs which are natural and are able to be seen by the naked eye. I'm just a giant werebat and it's hard to comprehend even for myself I suppose. /lh
being autistic as a kid without knowing it be like: *taps foot on the floor* *gets told to stop because the tapping is annoying* *stims in the school bathroom* *stims at home* *stims when reading whatever book you attached yourself to* *gets called a good reader* *attaches self to a group of people who don’t really wanna be your friends but they tolerate you* *gets placed with random people for group projects* *stims in the school bathroom* *gets called a picky eater at home* *gets put into the gifted program but is also really bad at some topics* *draws in class* *stims in class* *gets ignored* *stims in class* *stims in class* *stims in c
fun fact therians can be physically nonhuman
people don’t talk about vocal stimming enough, in my opinion. haha like vocal stimming is the best. i always have to do it alone cause it usually annoys my family, but still i just love to just go and “aaaaaaaaAAAAaaAaAaaAaa” it’s somehow so refreshing
hey, remember that having low empathy doesn’t make you a bad or selfish person. it’s perfectly alright that your brain processes things differently.
also if you have heightened empathy, that’s also okay! you’re not over-sensitive, too emotional, or weak just cause you feel things different
there’s a lot of diversity in people and i think society really tends to dumb it down and assign people labels. and a lot of times that can be harmful and show no understanding of the nuances behind behavior. so if you’re struggling with this: i love you! you’re doing fine
