MCYT - Cornflake Girl Pt. 2 & 3
~~~~~~~~~~
MCYT - Cornflake Girl Pt. 2:
For the record, the way I am posting portions of the "MCYT Cornflake Girl" animation is completely out of order and still a work in process, so I apologize if it seems confusing. That being said, this photo along with the next one will be a bit hard to understand because they were inspired off the US version music video, not the UK version unlike the majority of renders.
Please do not whine and yell at me for the fact that it looks as though I am displaying bondage with the Minecraft YouTubers. I am aware that none are comfortable with the idea of NSFW and their characters, and that is not what I am trying to display in this render or the next. As I said before, the next two photos' imagery was inspired by the US version music video of the song "Cornflake Girl." Not much is seen in this render specifically, so there is not much for me to talk about or describe in the piece. In the next deviation, I will have more to clarify and explain.
MCYT - Cornflake Girl Pt. 3:
Recall what I said-- this is not displaying bondage of any of the Minecraft YouTubers, and I happily respect their boundaries. The imagery seen here is inspired of a scene from the US version of Tori Amos's "Cornflake Girl" music video.
Seen in the music video, Amos hangs from what appears to be a set of monkey bars, swinging back and forth. Seated next to her is what I assumed to be one she describes as a "raisin girl." "In an American perspective the cornflake girl comes from a redneck-family from the mid-west and the raisin girl would be the product of a multi-racial circle of friends from the big city," Amos explains in a February 1994 interview with the Dutch magazine Nieuwe Revu. The term "cornflake girl" refers to narrow-mindedness, while the "raisin girl" is the open-mindedness. I could have explained in the previous render that the perspective in which the song "Cornflake Girl" is sung is from someone converting from a cornflake girl to a raisin girl, however is faced with disillusionment.
Rabbit is a woman Amos once knew. She described her as a hippieish and off-the-grid type that lived in the California and Oregon woods. She lived with ironically-named partner, Fox. "So Rabbit living in the woods with Fox," Amos thought this was romantic. She also claimed the animal, a rabbit, represents fear in traditions of some Native American people.
DSMP/iDots - Mystical Flight (Crimson NG) (+ bonus panels)
~~~~~~~~~~
As I have stated in a previous post as well as a few times on my YouTube uploads, I am not ignorant to the fact that the Trio have broken up. I became a fan after the three (somewhat) went their separate ways, and I reviewed each creator's content. I took a liking to all of them despite the drama and the issues they experienced between one another on personal levels, and I shall remain a loyal fan of the three of them and their previous group.
Anyways, that's besides the point of this piece. In my AU, Bad and Skeppy's twin sons each have a mythological creature as their beloved pets. Asriel adopted the pale white pegasus named Hestia, while Abraxas adopted the darker Clydesdale pegasus named Anubis. Between the two on horseback, a6d's adopted daughter Belladonna flies their big housecat of a manticore named Leo.
Though I found a rig pack for the mo' creatures mod, it unfortunately did not contain pegasi or manticores, so I had to improvise. For Hestia's design, I simply hid a butterfly model with only its wings visible and used the regular horse model found in the program itself. Anubis was probably the easiest to make improvising, using the original horse and ender dragon models, the dragon's wings visible and slightly more darkened. Leo's design was also easy, though it required a few other rigs and change in color. I added a more greenish color to the mix option of all the pieces I used, the male lion, the ender dragon, and the scorpion. I hid the ender dragon apart from its wings, similarly doing the same for the scorpion and leaving its tail the only feature seen. In addition, I also gave Leo a saddle so he matches the look of Hestia and Anubis with their reigns.
The angle of which I chose to take this picture may seem a bit off and odd. I was originally planning to take it from a central point of view where the six flyers are heading straight for the camera, but Abraxas unfortunately could not be seen especially because Anubis's neck is craned a certain way. Instead, I chose this angle for the final piece and the central angle shall be added to the bonus panels found on other social media posts (Tumblr, Facebook, and Instagram). The bonus panels also include close-ups of each pair of flyers so you can get a better glimpse of the designs as well as those of the next gen characters.

MCSM - Yes, Anastasia
~~~~~~~~~~
Another inspirational piece of work and story telling. Amos' twelfth and final track of her album "Under the Pink" is a song inspired by the story of Anastasia Romanov. Romanov was a young girl who was the daughter of Russian elite Tsar Nicholas II. In 1918, at the age of 17, Romanov was murdered along with the rest of her family by a revolutionary firing squad.
DSMP [AU] The Halo Family (Speedpaint)
DSMP/iDots - Magical Practice (Crimson NG) (+ close-ups)
~~~~~~~~~~
As I have stated in quite a few posts now, in the Crimson alternate timeline and crossover, a6d studies witchery and sorcery as a hobby some years following his daughter’s adoption. Bella herself was born with incredible powers and capabilities, and as a draconequus halfling with the spirit of chaos, possess chaotic magic. With time, she must learn to control her magical surges, so her father teaches her how to manage her powers. Alongside this basic knowledge, he teaches her spells of both light and dark magic alike. Though these forms of magic are the same, he educates her that the intention behind the use of the particular spell is the determinant of the type and its outcome.
Because Bella began practicing when she was very young, she is quite advanced for her age, learning more quickly to the point where she can even teach her father a thing or two. By adulthood, she is considered a neutral witch, while a6d is referred to as a neutral warlock. Unlike pretty much all other warlocks in fiction or lore, he does not purely use black magic or use it with the intention of doing harm to others or the world around him. Continuing his studies into the elderly stages of his life, he does eventually reach the highest tier of being a warlock, which is necromancy. He never uses this ability, and instead branches off to the area of discovery and origins just before his death shortly following.
