I love the idea that once Carmy makes it clear to everyone he doesn’t want to be with Claire, Richie and Fak immediately make it their job to get him and Syd together

These duos have the same exact energy to me and I can’t nor will I ever be able to explain why

When you realize the revolution all started because of love. Because Peeta burnt the bread and threw it to Katniss so she wouldn’t starve to death. Because Katisss was protecting the only person in the world she was sure she loved when she volunteered as tribute. Because Peeta confessed he had been in Love with Katniss for years. Because Katniss honored Rue when she died by singing to her and surrounding her body with flowers. Because Thresh spared Katniss for protecting Rue. Because Katniss saved Peeta even though she didn’t have to. Because the star crossed lovers couldn’t die in that arena. Because Katniss only ever wanted to save Prim and keep Peeta alive. Because loving others so fiercely was seen as an act of defiance against the Capitol.

The fact that some people still think Syd is inferior to Carmy or that they have a mentor/mentee dynamic after Carmy HIMSELF said “I couldn’t do this without you, I wouldn’t even want to do this without you, you make better at this” is actually insane

Somehow not paralleling Sydney’s panic attack with either of Carmy’s makes me even more sick than directly paralleling the scenes would’ve. Because what do you mean you’re going to show Syd desperately searching for a grounding, something to bring her back to earth and then cut away to Carmy a thousand miles away both mentally and physically, still running from everything whereas Carmy sees/ hears Syd and almost immediately calms down. Are you trying to tell me that Syd is always, always there when he needs her to be and that Carmy can’t even be there when she needs him the most is that what you’re trying to tell me Storer??

“Carmy has too much baggage and Sydney deserves better than that” is such wild take because you’re essentially just saying that “this person has trauma therefore they aren’t good enough to be loved” and that’s such a fucked up ideology because everyone has and/or has had their own issues but that doesn’t make them unworthy of love. A big part of relationships is the understanding that your partner may have trauma/issues but it will never make them any less worthy of being loved. That’s why sydcarmy is so beautiful, because they see all of each others flaws, issues, and trauma and they love each other regardless
