Introduction:
Are you attracted to that reserved, polite, politically-correct and emotionally disciplined Virgo woman? She appears reserved, but she can be quite a chatter box too. She is polite but if you hurt her ego, she can sting like a bee. And emotionally- disciplined? That’s a mere masquerade. She is as emotional as the next girl, but believes intensely in hiding her emotions. With a hint of lethargy and a tinge of Nosey Parker, the Virgo woman’s personality has almost all shades of the spectrum.
How to identify a Virgo woman in a crowd?
My estimate says 60% of Virgo women are aggressive and 40% are passive. It is not difficult to identify them in a crowd. Almost all of them like to talk a lot and speak at the speed of lightening, just like Aquarius women. When it comes to fitting maximum words in one breath Virgo women can give Aquarian females a run for their money. I have also noticed that Virgo women like to gossip and sometimes they seem to mind other people’s business more than their own.
Compared to their male counterpart they are quick at making friends and are usually very social. However, there are about 15% of Virgo women who are reserved and introverted.
While observing them, I realized that they are extremely sharp and very quick on the uptake. Depending on their mood they can be quite witty and funny too. They seem to have an uncanny way of matching the wavelength and thought process of a man, which makes them more compatible with men. Virgo women have a lot of male friends.
What is her approach to life?
A Virgo woman can undoubtedly be both realistic and practical but she is governed by her moods and the extent of her practicality largely depends on that. She is less emotional and sentimental but more sensitive. This could be another reason why she has more male friends. She is also dreamy and idealistic.
She finds it easier to follow than lead. Although she has a strong opinion about everything she is comfortable at following rather than leading. This could also be because of fear of failure, in which case she wouldn’t want to take the responsibility.
Is there something more to her persona?
Yes, there is! A Virgo woman is a stickler for punctuality. She cannot abide late comers and her patience runs low when she is waiting for someone. Although not short tempered, she can let her lid fly when her expectations are not met with… especially about things she cares. According to me, she would score an nine on ten for punctuality.
Her ambitious drive is well backed with a hard working spirit. Given her analytical mind, she knows that nothing can be achieved without sincere efforts. However, when it comes to work or relationship, she is quite conservative in her attitude and you may have a difficult time to get her to accept new ideas.
How is she when in love?
Hmm… before I answer that one let me tell you what love is for a Virgo woman. There is only one definition of love for her… true, pure and exclusive. She will not tolerate passing affairs or insincere feelings. Once her heart is set on something, she will move with a determined gait to achieve it. But let not all this talk of determination and ambition make you think she is masculine. No ways! This one is a complete woman and a strong one at that.
While courting her you will have to keep a lot of things in mind. Firstly, etiquettes… this lady is a classic nit-picker when it comes to mannerisms and social behaviour. She will watch you with a hawk’s eye and will be satisfied only if you match up to her rather high standards of decorum. Secondly, underplay… she dislikes loud and brash behaviour, especially if it is about love. Public display of love is a big no-no with her. So keep it simple and subtle and of course genuine. And throw in plenty of charm and before long you will be humming the Jackson classic “The girl is mine…”
How is she in various relationship roles?
A Virgo woman can be extremely dependable and responsible as a daughter, provided she has had a happy childhood. She will remain devoted to her parents if she has been properly raised and looked after.
As a wife, she will excel in her duties as she takes her responsibilities very seriously. With a Virgo woman fora wife you will have no complaints about love and devotion. Moreover, she is also an excellent home maker. Since she likes to be in control she regards her home as her castle and does everything in her power to protect it. Also, being in charge at home she gets to do what she pleases. I have also found many Virgo women enjoying housekeeping duties and other related chores like cleaning, cooking, gardening, etc.
Being dedicated in every sense of the word, Virgo women prove themselves to be genuine friends. They usually wouldn’t have a huge circle of friends, but the ones that they do befriend…they’d hold them very close to their heart.
You know I am slightly surprised by everyone’s reactions to the recent developments in the manga, on Yona’s decision to go back to the castle. I mean as a person who has read many many stories, I personally thought that the story was always going to be headed in this direction. Suwon, Yona, and Hak were always headed towards a confrontation…and what better place to do it, then the emotionally fraught environment of the Castle? Suwon and Yona both have the same goals and that is to protect their country….with Yona and her Dragons now having gained more popularity in the country…it puts Suwon and his administration in a bad spot. Suwon…doesn’t seem to care about this, he seems to be of the mindset that since she survived…all of it, he isn’t going to chase her to her death, he wants her to keep on living faraway because truth is he once cared/s? for her…. but Keishuk his advisor on the other hand, certainly isn’t going to let this slide. He has witnessed how powerful the dragons are, the strength and intelligence of Hak..on par with Suwon it seems….and he isn’t going to let them go. For if they once again get taken by an enemy country…their going to be huge threat. So Keishuk has essentially narrows it down for them in three choices: be chased down by other countries, be chased down by their own country, or choose to become allies since they have the same goal anyways. Its easy to argue that they could keep doing what they were doing before, but truth is its not that simple anymore. They have become well known and with that comes people that are now going to be gunning for them.
So for me seeing all this, Yona’s choice to become allies with Suwon…even though she knows Keishuk is essentially up to no good, and isn’t going to make this favorable for them in anyway…even then, her choice is still a logical one. Afterall, she was the one who was kidnapped. She has witnessed firsthand that no matter how strong she becomes, there may still be another stronger, crueler opponent. She doesn’t want her little family to be put through this again and again afterall at the moment…she is the weak link and thus will be targeted to control the dragons and Hak. Honestly this decision shows the height of her character development. She’s become more level headed and more willing to take the realities of life into account. Its great to be idealistic and happy but if you can’t face the realities of life down your going to be let down really fast. Honestly, her actions are almost on par with Suwon…she’s willing to work with her greatest enemy to keep them safe. But the difference is although her goal is to help her country, unlike Suwon, she won’t discard her family to do the job. I think..that this is going to be Suwon’s character development arc (along with Hak’s) because he could really stand to learn something from Yona.
A lot of you seem thrown of by Yona not listening to Hak’s feelings on her decision but thats not actually what she’s doing. It more like she has considered what is the worse option…Hak getting killed trying to save her if she gets taken again by a powerful country or Hak emotionally suffering going back to their home where they were betrayed. And thus here her choice becomes obvious because she loves Hak, she’ll do anything to protect him along with the dragons, and so even if he can’t bear it..she will because this time she has to keep him safe. Many people are also arguing that its almost more dangerous for her to walk into Keishuk’s games so easily…but its obvious this is the less dangerous option for them considering she knows Suwon has let them live out of his guilt, the dragon’s are at their most powerful at the castle, and lastly if their in the public eye Yona has some power to change the course of events.
But aside from all these fantastic wonderful plotlines now converging. and we’re all on the edge of our seats waiting to see what will happen…there is one other plot element that is still unresolved. And that’s the prophecy that was given early on. The prophet guy, Yun’s guardian ( i’ve forgotten his name since its been so long) essentially said that Yona needs to gather 3 elements: the dragons, a shield, and a sword. I don’t think Zeno is meant to be the shield here even if he is one as the dragon. I personally think the shield is and has always been Hak. And I think we’re headed in a direction where Suwon…is going to be the sword. I think that despite all that has happened Suwon and Yona are going to have to become allies and work together if they want the country to go in the directions they have wanted. I don’t think Yona is ever going to forgive Suwon, they can never return to what they were, Yona will never care for him again…but I think she has now become level headed enough to see past what he did to her and work with him long term for their country’s sake, and for our previously emotional little princess this is a HUGE moment. It also differentiates her from her father, King Il who could not see past his grief and negated the importance of weapons and an army to keep his country, his family safe, essentially leading to its downturn. Our princess Yona will use whatever she can, to survive, to keep HER family safe. As for how i think Suwon will be the sword? I think that’s going to be because he will need to take preemptive action to keep Yona and the Dragons safe. He’s going to need to take the offense, striking down on what could become a threat, and that in element represents the sword. Kind of like how Hak is the shield, protecting Yona from all that comes her way. Anyways I think Akatsuki no Yona is as fabulous as ever and I’m at the edge of my seat waiting to see the showdown, between Yona and Suwon, Hak and Suwon, the dragons and Suwon, the outmaneuvering their going to have to do against Keishuk. And also we all know we need a final confrontation between Hak and Yona that needs to air out much of the doubts Hak still holds in his heart; that Yona still trusts Suwon and maybe loves Suwon a little and whether Yona actually loves him as she said in her confession. We’re finally approaching the most emotional arc in AkaYona ever, where much is going to go down and I can’t wait.
