I know it’s quite messy but I couldn’t help myself.
“Why are so many trans girls into werewolves and robots and slime and monsters?”
Because society views us as monsters. And when you’re viewed that way you have two options.
The first, you can break yourself. You can take a knife and carve off all the corners, take sandpaper and smooth all your rough edges, you can take everything remotely variant about you and you can try and obliterate it in order to make yourself acceptable to people who do not know you and never will.
The second option is that you can say “okay, if I’m a monster I’m going to enjoy being a monster. I’m going to take those rough edges and rough them up some more. I’m going to take all my sharp corners and make them knife edged. I’m going to embrace how weird and broken and fucked up I am and I’m going to make it a part of me. I’m going to love, fight, live, and die as a freak, but I’m going to do it on my terms and no one else’s”
I’m never going to be cis. I’m never going to be straight. In fact I’d rather die than be either of those. So I’m going to take what I am and make it my power instead of my shame.
Never posted anything worthwhile in Tumblr, but today is the day post this map of the SCP Multiverse I did a couple of months ago.
It burned me out pretty heavily, but it turned out as confusing as I expected.
[MtG Animatic] Little House of Horrors
the way that taz balance, in the stolen century and in the finale, used bonds as like, a mechanical thing? absolutely choice.
like it's just a box on the character sheet in dnd 5e that most people probably don't really fill out. to take something that's abstract like that, just a flavor element, and make it have like... tangible gameplay utility and repercussions?
i can't put a finger on why but it resonates with me just so much.
is your house (or apartment, or rv, or a house you really like from down the street, or a house from a story) haunted? do you wish it was? for a small fee, i'll put ghosts in it for you!
i'm trying out a google form for commissions this time around rather than a first-come-first-serve model. this form will be open for a limited time. probably till around the end of may. i'll have a handful of commission slots to begin with, and i'll pull from the form response pool once more slots start opening up.
want a haunted house? fill out the form here! (reblogs are super appreciated to spread the word! 🫀)
The more I learn about baseball, the more interesting it seems, which is weird because I'm not really a sports person
Anyways I wanna share something neat that I learned but I'm gonna preface this by saying that I'm not "into" baseball. I'm just visiting the baseball zoo and reading the little blurbs the have on the cages
With that out of the way, when you swing a bat, your momentum naturally goes with the bat, right? So for righties, immediately after batting, their momentum starts to take them to third base, meaning they have to fight against the bat's momentum before running to first
But for lefties, the bat's momentum is already taking them to first! Apparently lefties can, on average, reach first base a sixth of a second faster than righties
Apparently it also makes a difference in receiving a pitch, since a righty receiving a pitch from a righty will see it coming from behind their shoulder, but a lefty receiving a pitch from a righty can clearly see the ball
Because of this, they started bringing in lefty pitchers to counteract the lefty batters and the result is a sport with 2-4x as many lefties as the general public

The one page rpg I played was called “Wonder,” and it was about a band working to make one last one hit wonder. Our band was made up of me “Jerk Jacob” on Keys, Dylan “Dynamic Mess” on Bass, and Loklin “Hopilite Harry” on Lead Guitar. Our band was called “Robot War,” and we worked to make an 80′s ballad. We decided to divide the writing in half to speed it up, so we made a 12 line song instead of the 24 line one. Each musical instrument gets different restrictions on how they can add to the song, which introduced specific challenges. Also, whenever you disagree with someone’s lyrics, you mark down a tension, and when you hit three marks, you flip out literally and leave the band. My character would only approve a lyric if they could change at least one word, and once Jerk Jacob got fed up, Mellow Mary popped in and convinced the other two members that the song should end with accepting all people on earth as one person, unified in their love for each other. The song lyrics slowed down as we got near the end, but it was fun to do, and definitely wouldn’t be my first choice for a one page rpg.
