Signs In a Shady Fight And How To Face Them

(A shady fight is a tense conversation full of shady remarks, personal attacks and it usually goes off the top pretty fast)

Fire Signs: Go full on fight mode, sick of it. To stop them, expose all their bad traits and be sure you have people to rely on (possibly not Pisceans, they wouldn’t win over a Leo easily for example) so that they feel like they better stop. Also facts can help a lot.

On numerous occasions, Bjork has admitted interest in metaphysics and the occult in general. From a 1995 interview, “I think she took me to all the occult creatures of Iceland… I think I probably believe most of it, actually. I’ve got Pluto in a very important place, and that’s what I’m about. I have to re-create the universe every morning when I wake up. And kill it in the evening, which is a bit outrageous, but there you go.” This statement points to an interest in the occult, and of course the zodiac. Recently the “212” singer announced her practice of “brujería” (Spanish for witchcraft) and her bizarre nature made a bit more sense. That is until she posted a video on her Instagram revealing she had been sacrificing chickens in her closet! In December of 2016, Banks posted a video of her herself cleaning up what appeared to be blood and at least two dead chickens while wearing goggles. While literally no one is surprised by her interest in witchcraft, killing chickens is pretty extreme. In an interview with Broadly, she said that she got her interest in witchcraft from her mother who would practice “white table magic.“ “Real witches do real things,” Banks said. If by real she means slaughter birds from the comfort of her own home, then totally.

Kate Bush

Everyone already knows this one, as Bush is very open with her love of the occult.Her 1993 album The Red Shoes is credited with being an occult retelling of a Hans Christian Anderson fairytale. One song from the album featured lyrics taken from the Lesser Banning Ritual of the Pentagram, a ceremonial ritual used in modern occultism. She also has a song titled “Waking the Witch” perhaps a reference to her own growing interest in the occult. She has stated about the song, “What fascinated me in doing that song was the idea of a witch-hunter hiding behind the priesthood, as a guise, and coming to get this woman who is not a witch, but he wants to make her so.” Her music paved the way for similar artists such as FKA Twigs and Grimes (who also has made the list), another possible musically talented witch.

The Fleetwood Mac singer has denied being a witch time and time again, but the denial itself is cause for speculation. Her song “Rhiannon” tells the story of an ancient Welsh witch goddess. The show American Horror Story: Coven asserts that Nicks is indeed a white witch while discussing the song. 

Nicks even appeared on the show herself as a white witch, further cementing her witchcraft status. She has been seen wearing pagan inspired jewelry while performing and has also been quoted as saying, “I totally believe in magic. Because my life, I think, has been very magic, and magical things have come true for me time after time after time.” While she denies being involved in witchcraft itself, she has mentioned that she dabbles in Goddess Worship.

Jennifer Lopez’s grandmother lives in Miami and has an affinity for the Caribbean form of witchcraft known as “santeria.” The claim is that Lopez’s grandmother does rituals, with and without Lopez herself, to help benefit her career.

Grimes refers to her musical style as “Witch House”, a subgenre of electronic music that uses occult and dark themes. The Witch House visual aesthetic can also be seen in her music videos. She claims the album “Visions” was created after performing a spell that required her to not sleep or eat for days and create the music with the effects of sleep deprivation.

Fairuza Balk

The Craft is known for showing just how cool and trendy witches can be, but Fairuza Balk, one of the four main cast members, believes in Wicca in real life. Balk is openly pagan and at one time owned an occult pagan shop called Panpipes Magickal Marketplace, which claims to be the oldest occult store in the U.S. She purchased the shop in 1995 while working on The Craft but reportedly sold it in 2001. 

Wicca, or Pagan Witchcraft, is a contemporary form of paganism. Wicca, as it is currently practiced, is still a fairly new religion, leaving a lot of room for interpretation and practice. Balk and her fellow cast members from The Craft may not have been practicing Wicca, but they definitely were witches. Balk’s character Nancy goes on quite the magic sparked rampage in that movie, while the real Balk sells scented candles online. She has been quoted with saying, “People don’t understand witchcraft, they just make fun of it, but is is something very sacred to me.”

Who knew the blonde haired half of Hall & Oates was interested in witchcraft? “Around 1974, I graduated into the occult, and spent a solid six or seven years immersed in the Kabbala and the Chaldean, Celtic, and Druidic traditions [and] ancient techniques for focusing the inner flame,” he said when interviewed by Penthouse in 1987. During this time he worked on an album with Robert Fripp of King Crimson called “Sacred Songs.” A track titled “ Without Tears” is based on the book Magick without Tears by Aleister Crowley. 

The pop rock singer has also claimed to be related to Crowley and the great-grandson of a male witch. Many of Hall’s lyrics allude to his interest in esoteric magic but it seems that recently the singer has cooled off on his occult studies.

Robert Plant and Jimmy Page

The creators of Led Zeppelin are both known occultists, Page perhaps being a bit more interested in Satanic magic than Plant, who has written dozens of songs based around Gaelic/Celtic Paganism, Druidism and Norse mythology.

In their unnamed album, each member of the band is assigned a sigil from the “Book of Signs”. Robert chose the the feather of Ma’at, the Egyptian goddess of justice and fairness, and is the emblem of a writer (ie song lyrics).  It can be found in “The Sacred Symbols of Mu” by Colonel James Churchward.  This is not a common symbol, but does turn up in Egyptian and Red Indian texts. Jimmy chose “Zoso”, which is a Saturnical symbol that has multiple meanings both astrological and demonic. It is mentioned in the Grand Grimoire and Aleister Crowley’s writings.

But in spite of all that is said above, you are basically a warm-hearted and generous person who will come to the aid of friends if they are in need. People know they can count on your emotional and material help without your judging them in the process. You tolerate and accept other people's shortcomings and this goes a long way in keeping harmony, which is something that is really important to you and necessary for your well-being. At times, though, you avoid confronting difficult issues because you don't want to make waves or upset people's feelings. You probably find yourself releasing your "hate" through verbal or physical fights when there are differences of opinion with your partner and after your hostility is released, then you once again feel "love" for that person. This can create a great deal of frustration and disappointment that you do not easily shrug off because you cannot understand what the other person's "problem" is. There is danger of falling into the wrong type of relationship, a relationship of co-dependence. Either you or your partner may enjoy or feel obligated to play the role of martyr, victim or savior. Remember that no good relationship is unequal. Two equal partners who neither feel the need to save or be saved make the best couple.

You are a sensitive person who enjoys the finer, aesthetic things in life. You desire harmony and beauty and are probably attracted to the arts in some way, either painting, music, dance, theater or drama. You are perhaps attracted to those with artistic or mystical inclinations. There is a certain charm about you that others find unworldly. The unusual and the intuitive, the sensual and the explorative appeal to you. You are insecure in matters of love. Simply remember that you have human frailty, but do the best you can as that is all the Universe asks of you. Recognize, too, that human weakness exists even in those you love. Sometimes others cannot live up to your expectations, which may be quite unrealistic at times. You may be unrealistic in matters of love. You need to transform your material values into spiritual values and to turn personal desires into universal desires. Personal property and possessions may disappear in strange, mysterious ways in order to teach you that material possessions are easily replaced and therefore are of limited value. The only thing you can take with you when you die are your spiritual and personal growth, your experiences. You need to learn to love without expecting love in return. You must learn to forgive and thus release inner resentments. You need to learn how to turn the other cheek while not becoming a doormat for all to walk on. One last thing, do not turn to drugs or alcohol when you feel sorrow or when you feel like escaping from the world. Life must be faced head-on if you are to get anywhere and resorting to drugs or alcohol will only make things much worse.

You are being given the chance to wipe your slate clean if you do not respond to evil with evil. Release all thoughts of revenge and learn to turn the other cheek. When your debts are paid and your lessons are learned, then destructive people will no longer be part of your life. This aspect shows a readiness on your part to atone for past mistakes and cruelties.

In matters of health, this aspect tends to interfere with the magnetic forces in the veins and prevents proper drainage of toxins and waste material from the tissues. It can also hinder the filtering process in the kidneys. This leads to improper cleansing of the blood, with the result that toxins and waste material seek exit through the lungs and skin in the form of lung congestions and skin eruptions. The spiritual lesson here is to let go of ill feelings (emotional toxins) and forgive (elimination, transformation), rather than trying to get even or seeking revenge.

On the positive side, you do have the emotional power and unusual creativity to bring about beneficial and healing changes into the lives of others if you can focus on other's needs instead of your own.

Because you find it difficult to express your feelings, you tend to show people how you feel by buying them gifts as a substitute for you and your feelings. If they reject your gift, then this is easier to take than if they reject you. Though you crave love and affection, intimacy is difficult for you. This is something you need to strongly work on as your life will continue to be miserable if you do not learn to change your attitude. You need to accept the difficulties you experience in life as spiritual lessons. These lessons are attempting to help you establish better values.
