New Vegas Self Insert, Because Now It’s One Of My Favorite Games :|

What I wish was talked about more was the every-day-ness of the wasteland. As you galavant around doing quests and stuff I wanna know more about the people. We get stuff already through notes and such but I like more of that stuff cuz it makes the world feel a bit more lived in.

Kinda connected to what I said above but: something that “irks” me and keeps me up at night is the scary familiarity of the west coast games + how that decays. This is probably because I grew up on the west coast but whenever I think about those games I get really existential sometimes. It’s a weird mix of “I can exactly feel how my protag is feeling right now standing out in the hot desert” and “oh my god everything is gone”. <— it’s not exactly like this but this is as close as I can get ( “oo).

Anyways the decay stuff really gets to me when I think about New Vegas in particular because canonically all your companions go their separate ways after the game ends. I know it’s for good reason and a lot of them I’d urge them to go but man does it break my heart sometimes (I am a found family trope enjoyer). I guess the feeling of “ah yes some great thing, but only for a moment in time and memory” thing really gets to me. A big splash of color before the sands of the wasteland wash over it.

Anyways yeah my little brain thoughts :))))

Yume Nikki fanart cuz this game scratched an itch in my brain 4 years ago and I’ve been pretty happy about it.

Pro tip: Prevent tumblr from recognising your difinitely-not-female-presenting-nipples images as female presenting nipples by doing the following:

A: Have an enbie or male present them.

But this won’t actually change anything, so instead you better do this:

B: Before posting images or gifs, add a subtle dither/static/pixel/noise effect over them. Make it transparent enough that your fellow humans won’t notice, but that the bots will.

This will work as even if you just google ‘tv static’, enlarge/crop it so it takes up the whole image and then set the effect to 1% transparency, humans won’t see it, yet the way bots see the world involves recognising pixels, and trust me, the bots will pick up on this and to them your image will just look like a bunch o’ random pixels (Bots can tell if something has been photoshopped, even if only slightly)
