I got my family some books for Christmas, and decided to wrap them in origami present boxes. It kinda spiraled from a small project to a three day hyperfixation burnout, but it’s done!
The boxes are 10⅔ inches in all dimensions (~0.7 cubic feet), and are made from 4 foot by 4 foot squares of paper. The bows are made from squares the same size, and the fasteners from 16 inch by 16 inch squares.
You’re all wrong. It’s—

In light (haha) of the recent eclipse, I’d like to point out that it was during an eclipse in 1868 that French Astronomer Jules Janssen observed an unusual spectral line produced when he pointed his telescope at the partially obscured sun. He assumed that it corresponded to the spectrum of Sodium.
Observation by English astronomer Norman Lockyer later that year revealed it to be a different element. The first one discovered on a distant celestial sphere before it was discovered on Earth. He chose to name it after the sun.
In 1968, one hundred years later, a space probe was launched to orbit around and study the sun.
If we ever get another D&D movie and have some actual play peeps cameo in it, I would want Brennan, Aabria, and Matt cast as “trio/quartet (if we could get Jasmine too) of arguing wizards”, and anyone who’s seen the Game Masters of Exandria Roundtable immediately understands what I mean.
Brennan would probably be interrogating some nonsensical illogic surrounding the behavior of a person and/or organization, which, on a Doylist level would be him examining the worldbuilding.
Aabria would be starting BEEF.
Matt would be exasperatedly trying to mediate and deescalate.
*explodes into a shower of gore and when the red mist clears i'm completely fine but wearing a different outfit*
It looks like Mercer Kitbashed a Warhammer set to make this element of the battle map. Do any Warhammer fans recognize this symbol? It looks like a Necron skull with the half-gear from the symbol for Legio Cybernetica plus some wings.
Mordred Manor! (with close-ups under the cut)
edit: i just put up some new drawings on my ko-fi, so if you wanna print this out as a poster or something, you can find it there at full resolution in the 'Misc Art' folder! :) (personal use only!)
dropout, please make one of those overly specific shirts that's like, "Don't mess with me!!! I'm a SIDEWINDER 👏👏🐍. I'm part of a gymnastic/martial arts gym. I can backflip at 15 miles per hour. I only train at night. We're all 30, today! That's how we started the gym! I want more adrenanoxinil plutonium sulfate to do 20-foot standing vertical leaps. We put it in our Gatorade, but we're running out. I'm gym buddies with a "30-year-old" professor named Clete Gunshoot who backflips in a labcoat. I work in a hotel gift shop selling $4 hotel t-shirts, but my heart isn't in it. My name is Reggie. I guess I'm a criminal now."
Why stop at fire, water, earth and air? We’ve got 14 other para-elemental, quasi-elemental, and energy planes floating around in the ether.
Start an Eiselcross-based EXU miniseries with “Ice.” Start some gothic western D20 side quest with “Salt.” because the first scene opens on spooky salt flats. Use your imagination, people!
Am I only saying this because I want to see a professional DM start a campaign with “Ooze.”? No, why do you ask?
They are the same guy in Hades II lore.
Thank you @brehaaorgana for coming through with screenshots! They replayed the technical test to find this!
Chronos/Khronos/Chronus/Χρόνος with a chi aka Time “HadesTwoAntagonist” Itself might not even be the same guy as Cronus/Cronos/Kronos/Κρόνος with a kappa aka Saturn “Mel’sGrandpa” DevouringHisSon in the game. Some ancient sources syncretize them. Some do not. Maybe they’re the same person in the game lore, but don’t be surprised if Chronos is never specified to be Hades’ father in the game.
