Day 2:Concert

Storytime (@femmescripter I stole your labradoodle headcanon, hope you don’t mind):

Max was determined to say this today, at the concert, right. Fucking. Now. This couldn’t wait any second longer, they both knew what they feel for eachother, the hearts are pumping like drums whenever the two even hear the names. „Bradley”, „Brad”, „Ex-king”. All of this words were making Max go back to those short memories with him. PJ knows what he’s planning to sing, Bobby not so much; maybe for the better. When he found out that Goof was about to make Brad join their team, Bob was flaming with fury.

There won’t be better opportunity. So today must be the day.

Bradley didn’t wanted to play with labradoodles emotions, but also knew it is only natural thing to say what he is feeling today. After many dates and few kisses from yesterday. Yeah, he didn’t wanted to play with his own emotions. But Brad was no fool, listening to heart only will lead both men into despair and danger. „Just say I love you but we can’t be together. Just say it” young man was telling himself while trying to stop tears. To stop thinking of what could’ve been.

But- he already lost everything, his family already thinks of valid reason to disown him, his „friends” left him for good. The only thing what is dangerous is… the rest of the world. What to do? Let Maximilian decide.

„And now! The song for special someone! It’s kinda rough around the edges but this person is not the most patient one.” Max screamed to the mic as loud as he could. PJ stressed, Bobby in shook, Bradley just waiting for what’s to come.

„Whenever I see you You take my breath away, Than you tell me ‚Get lost’ but your smile says ‚please come’ I know, I can’t play as hard as your idols, I’m no biker unlike the ones your eyes follow, But than you are swirling around me like boa, And your touch, and your sight, and your. As song went on, and chorus came again, Bradley thought to himself „Oh Max, you have no idea how bad this may end”. That broke him, but he let his heart lead.

After the concert Max went with Bradley to his dorm, he made PJ convince Bobby to go somewhere else.

„So… you liked it?” Labradoodle asked

„Huh? Oh yeah yeah. Just- wasn’t expecting that honest lyrics”

„Ya”

„Max”

„What?”

„I don’t want to throw you away, but I’m scared something bad may happen”

„Me too Bardly. I know but. Maybe if we try something or-„

The words left Max when chodsky pes hugged him tightly and started catching his tears

„Promise me you’ll be careful and safe and sound and… just take care”

„I promise”

The eyes met just like that time they danced with eachother in october warmth. Heads started leaning to one another without much control, slowly but surely, than finally meeting in long, silent, sincere kiss. December cold kept them tightly.

After a while Max jumped to the CD adapter and „River flows in you” started playing.

„Can we. Just be for eachother this time?”

Young couple started slowly dancing, tightly, to the rhythm and crying, but foreheads locked just like palms and sternums, and breaths.

when I drew this comic 3 years ago I had NO idea how far it would reach. I'm happy to finally share a corrected version with proper abbreviations, and even MORE state names of indigenous origin ♥️

however, the goal of this comic was to inspire people to do your OWN research on indigenous history. To question everything we have been taught, and everything that has been pointedly left out. This erasure, this “forgetting”, of history is not just of the past… it is happening now. - Across so-called Canada, the US, and US-occupied islands, native women are victims of murder at 10-12x the rate of non-native people, and are the most likely to go missing without being searched for by the law. - Native reservations have the highest rates of poverty in the US, with over HALF of tribal homes with no access to clean water (with more joining this list by the year) - Native people are 6-10x more likely to be unhoused than the rest of the population, and native teens suffer suicide rates higher than any other demographic. This list of modern day genocide goes on (thank you for compiling @theindigenousanarchist <3) and yet take a look at those environmental stats!

Native people manage to do SO much for the planet as a whole - thanklessly - and with all this stacked against them. Don't even get me started on kin fighting in south america. Could you imagine if there was help? #landback is resistance to genocide, and it is the key to saving our warming earth.

So look into it and the other hashtags, cuz a cartoon goose ain't a substitute for a proper education. Love to my grandparents who always kept a map of tribal territories of turtle island on their wall, to speaking on our Tsalagi & Saponi heritage. Love & solidarity forever, happy research, and happy #indigenouspeoplesday

Been on “Jujutsu Kaisen 0″ in cinema on sunday and still can’t get over how great it was. Rika’s curse is just stunning and will stay in my head for a long time. Gege Akutami have huge talent making those monstruos designs
